It was finally the day Soul started her big tour and the girl couldn't contain her excitement.

She stood in the middle of the stage of UCCU Center as she looked out at all the empty seats with a small smile.

"You okay, bug?" Mom asked, stopping beside the girl, looking over at her daughter.

"Yeah, just soaking it all in." Soul exclaimed, sending the woman a small smile.

"You're going to be great." Mom reassured the girl, wrapping her arm around the girl, causing her to lay her head on her mothers shoulder.

"Miss Walker, 10 minutes until the doors open." One of the crew members spoke, making his way up behind Soul and her mom. "You also have a few people waiting for you in your dressing room."

"Go." Mom spoke, nodding her head to the side, causing the girl to lift her head off of the woman's shoulder. "Spend some time with your friends before you're off tonight."

Soul sent her mom a grin before she made her way off the stage and through the backstage until she came to stop at the door with her name above it.

A smile grew on her face as the sound of multiple voices came from inside the room, causing her to slowly open the door.

"There she is!" Carlos squealed, pulling the girl into a hug as she stepped into the room, causing her to let out a chuckle.

"Aw, guys what's all of this?" Soul questioned, looking around at the balloons and flowers on the table in the middle of the room with cards.

"Well it's your opening night and we wanted to wish you good luck." Big Red explained, causing the girl to pout.

"You guys are so sweet, you didn't have to do all of this." Soul looked around at everyone.

"Don't mention it." Ashlyn waved it off with a grin.

"So, how are you feeling, dear?" Miss Jenn asked, grabbing the girl's hands.

"Better now that I know you guys are here." Soul spoke, causing the woman to lightly smile. "But I'm still a bit nervous. My opening act is late and I have yet to hear from them. I'm just a little nervous."

"You are going to kill it like the star you are." Gina reassured the girl, shaking her head. "Your fans are coming to see you and the stage loves you."

"You have been the best Kelsi/Belle/Olaf/Kelsi again/Wendy Darling, East High has ever seen." Ricky added, causing the girl to lightly chuckle. "Now it's time for the world to see how great you are."

"Babe, no one deserves this moment more than you." EJ spoke up. "You are gonna be amazing."

That caused the group to cheer and applaud, making the girl chuckle as she looked down with a smile on her face.

"Thanks guys." Soul smilled before the sound of a knock on the door gained everyone's attention.

"Knock, knock." A voice said as the door slowly cracked open, causing the room to fill with gasp. "Did someone call for an opening act?!"

"Nini!" Kourtney happily squealed, pulling the girl into a tight hug, causing her to smile from ear to ear.

"Wait, you're the opening act?" Maddox questioned, causing the girl to nod.

"When Soul called with this opportunity, I couldn't say no to her." Nini spoke, holding the Walker girl's hand with a smile. "Even if she just called, wanting me to come visit I would have come."

"I'm so glad you made it." Soul smiled, pulling the girl into a tight hug, making Nini smile at the girl.

"I definitely did not see this coming." Seb stated.

"So what have I missed?" Nini grinned, taking a seat as everyone began talking at once.

"Nina heading on the stage... now." One of the crew members spoke into their headset as he led the girl to the stage, causing Soul to make her way towards the side stage.

As the Salzar-Roberts girl made her way onto the stage, she couldn't contain her excitement as she smiled and waved to the crowd as they cheered.

"Hi guys!" Nini breathed out, letting out a chuckle as the crowd cheered louder. "I love the energy! If you didn't know, my name is Nina... I'm so happy to be here with you all tonight. Who's excited to see Soul because I know I am! I mean she is so talented! I have been blessed to be able to grow and be inspired by such an amazing human like her since we were kids and so when she asked me to open for her, I couldn't say no. But before she comes out, I'm gonna play you guys a few songs. This is You Never Know."

Nini had finished her set about 20 minutes ago and Soul was backstage pacing as she hummed her songs to herself as she ran through the dances.

"You ready, kid?" Sam grinned, standing beside the girl, causing her to look back at him, Sarahand her dancers, making her smile.

"Let's do this." Soul nodded, causing the group to cheer as they went to their places.

Soul had finally figured out the dancer situation for the tour, she had reached out to Kerrington and Stevie the night after prom because she couldn't think of anyone better for the job; Kerrington was busy on tour for another artist but Stevie happily agreed.

As for the band, Soul had so much fun performing on stage with Sam and Sarah, she asked them to go on tour with her.

So the girl had her entire family and her best friend by her side the entire summer while she's headlining her own tour; she couldn't ask for anything better.

The venue went dark, causing the crowd to cheer as Soul quickly got into her place, letting out a breath.

The lights suddenly came on, revealing the Walker girl standing center stage causing the room to grow crazy, making a smile grow on her face.

After an hour and half it was finally time for Soul's last song of the night.

"I've had a blast with you all tonight. This has honestly been a dream of mine ever since I was a little girl and being able to kick it right here in my hometown means everything to me.I love you all so much." Soul breathed out, causing the room to cheer, causing her to chuckle. "But I have one more song for you guys before I go... Please sing this one with me."

Soul stood in the middle of the stage as she looked around the room in awe as she watched the entire crowd scream her song from the top of their lungs before she closed her eyes as she sang the bridge.

As the music continued playing, Soul grinned as she waved and blew kisses to the crowd; going from the left to the right and ending with the middle.

"Thank you, Salt Lake!" Soul exclaimed, sending the crowd one last smile and wave before she made her way to the side stage with Gina and Stevie right behind.

"Oh my god, that was so much fun!" Gina grinned, letting out a chuckle, looking from Stevie to Soul.

"Well buckle up Wildcat, we still have all summer." Soul teased, causing Gina to smile, wrapping her arms around the girl before quickly pulling Stevie towards them, causing them all to chuckle.

Two weeks later

The sound of knocking, caused the Caswell boy to quickly glance towards the door of his dorm.

"Who is it?" The boy called out but no one responded, causing the boy to shrug as he looked back down at the phone, smiling at the newest picture his girlfriend had posted from Chicago.

Another knock was heard from the door, causing the boy to look up again before standing from his seat as he made his way to the door, opening it.

"Suprise!" Soul grinned, holding her arms open, causing a smile to grow on the boy's face as he pulled her into a big hug as she tightly wrapped her arms around his neck.

"What are you doing here?" EJ questioned, slowly pulling away from the girl as he let the girl in. "Shouldn't you be in Milwaukee getting ready for your next show."

"We have 3 days until then so I thought I'd come see you since we didn't spend our anniversary together." Soul explained, glancing around the room with a smile before turning to look at the boy. "Unless you're busy."

"No, not at all. I'm never too busy for you." EJ shook his head, causing the girl to smile. "Here, let me give you a proper tour of my dorm... you have my bookshelf, and my bed there."

"With the one pillow." Soul teased, causing the boy to chuckle.

"Yeah, that's the one." EJ nodded, causing the girl to chuckle. "And, yeah that's about it."

"Well, it's a very nice place you got here." Soul honestly spoke, taking a seat beside the boy on his bed as he looked at her with a smile. "What?"

"I just can't believe you're here."

"Better believe it because I have to head back to Milwaukee in the morning." Soul spoke, causing them both to chuckle. "It's so good to see you, Eej."

EJ smiled, wrapping his arm around the girl, causing her to place her head on his chest as she breathed in the scent of his cologne that she knew so fondly.

"So what do you want to do today?" EJ asked, glancing down at the girl.

"Cuddle." Soul answered, causing the boy to chuckle as she lifted her head.

"Done." EJ smiled. "Are you hungry? Do want to go grab a bite to eat before we stay in for the night."

"Yeah, I could eat."

The couple found themselves walking in a nearby park after they had lunch in a nearby diner called Mickey's.

"So how's the tour going so far?" EJ questioned as the pair walked side by side.

"It's been amazing so far." Soul gushed, causing the boy to smile. "I mean it's even better than I could have imagined. Performing almost every night in a different city is such a crazy thing to think about but having Gina, Nini and my family by my side every day makes things so much easier."

"I'm glad you're having a good time. You deserve it." EJ smiled, causing the girl to grin as she gripped onto the boy's hand as they silently made their way to the nearby pond.

"Wow. This is so beautiful." Soul gaped, letting go of the boy's hand as she stepped closer to the water, looking at the beautiful sight in awe.

"Not as beautiful as you." EJ spoke, causing the girl to chuckle as she glanced back at the boy, causing her to quickly place her hand over her mouth as she felt tears welling in her eyes as she watched the boy drop down on one knee. "I love you and couldn't imagine my life with anyone else. From the moment we first met, I knew that you were going to be someone special in my life. We've shared some incredible moments together, from our very first date at Napoli's, where I fell even harder for you. I'll never forget all of our late-night drives around Salt Lake just so we could spend more time together. The moment you sang me the song at Camp Shallow Lake and first said you loved me, I knew you were the one. There are so many things I love about you that I don't even know where to begin. I love how kind-hearted you are and how you always put others before yourself. Your sense of humor and how you can make me laugh at any time. I still love the way you scrunch up your nose when you think. I love the way you look at me and how you make me feel like I'm the most important person in the world. I love the way you make my heart beat faster every time you walk into the room. And this time apart has made me realize I can't live my life without you in it. And I know we're still young, but I promise that I will continue to love you every single second of every single day until my last breath because I love you so much. So will you, Souline Estella Walker, make me the luckiest man in the world and marry me?"

Soul cuffed the boy's cheeks, causing him to stand as she pulled him into a passionate kiss.

"I love you so much." Soul smiled, leaving her hand on the boy's cheek.

"I love you too." EJ grinned, placing their foreheads against each other as they both smiled from ear to ear.

The sound of rain caused the pair to quickly look up as rain came pouring down out of nowhere, causing them to let out a chuckle before locking eyes once again.

"So, is that a yes?" EJ questioned, causing the girl to lightly chuckle, glancing down before looking back at the boy with a smile.

"Yeah." Soul whispered, nodding her head, causing the boy's smile to grow. "Yes, I'll marry you."

EJ carefully took the promise ring off before replacing it with the engagement ring, causing Soul to chuckle as she watched the boy.

Their gaze met once again as Soul wrapped her arms around the boy's neck, causing him to lift the girl off the ground, spinning her in a circle, causing her to let out a squeal.

The boy slowly placed her back on her feet before pulling her into another kiss as the couple stood in the rain, the only thing on their minds being one another.
