"Does the dress twirl?" Miss Jenn questioned, causing Soul to nod. "I feel that it needs to twirl."

Gina spins with the dress but it barely moves, causing Gina to look back at her teacher and best friend, "Mmm. Good call."

"I can't believe I am fitting you for a Hollywood ball gown." Miss Jenn beamed, causing Gina and Soul to chuckle.

"Okay, stop it."

"It feels like yesterday you showed up with your pink sparkly shoes, and your tracksuit, and you scared the bejesus out of me." Miss Jenn spoke.

"I think she scared everyone at least once." Soul teased, causing Gina to chuckle as she smiled at the girl.

"You know, I think I was more scared than anybody that day." Gina admitted, hanging the dress up on the rack.

"And now, you're a movie star." Miss Jenn reminded the girl.

"Miss Jenn, can I be honest?" Gina stopped on her tracks, turning to face the two. "I don't know if I'm ready for this."

"Honey..." Miss Jenn stood from her seat, approaching the girl. "There is never a good or bad time to become a star."

"Well, yeah, but it's more about figuring out what I want." Gina explained. "How can I know that right away? And what do I even say to Ricky? I mean... this movie and New Zealand... I still haven't told anybody but you guys."

"Ricky will understand. He loves you." Miss Jenn shook her head.

"I told her the same thing." Soul spoke up, standing beside the drama teacher.

"Honestly, if I knew he loved me, that might help."

"You mean he hasn't...." Miss Jenn placed a hand on her hip, looking over at Soul, causing her to shake her head before she turned her attention back to Gina.

"Yeah, I know. It sounds silly." Gina said. "It feels like I'm always the one putting myself out there first."

"Sometimes I think boys need to learn a few more words." Miss Jenn spoke, causing the teens to chuckle softly.

"At this point, I'd settle for three." Gina admitted, causing Soul to send the girl a soft smile.

"Jennifer." Mr. Mazzara called from the door, gaining the three girls' attention. "A word."

"Hmm."

Gina and Soul shared a smile as they watched the teacher leave the room.

"Here. what about this one?" Soul spoke, carefully grabbing a beautiful purple and red dress off the rack as she held it out towards the girl.

Gina grabbed it from her hands before turning towards the mirror, pressing it against herself as a smile grew on her face.

"I think we found ourselves a winner." Soul grinned as Gina let out a chuckle.

...

Soul found herself sitting in front of a mirror, looking at her reflection as everyone around her freaked out.

"I think I left my pom poms at home!" Ashlyn exclaimed, entering the room.

"Somebody stole my bronzer." Carter said, looking back at the group.

"Okay, everyone, since Nini isn't here, she asked me to hand out some cards." Ricky spoke up, gaining everyone's attention, snapping Soul out of daydream. "Warning, my handwriting sucks."

Kourtney, Emmy, Jet and Soul, made their way towards the curly haired boy.

"Oh, uh, don't look at this or i'll cry. Don't look at this or I'll cry. Don't look at this or I'll cry." Ricky handed the cards out, leaving Soul as she chuckled at the boy as he handed the girl a card. "Hey, have you seen Gina?"

"Not for a while, sorry Ricky." Soul said, sending the boy a small smile before making her way towards the mirror.

"Anyone? Gina? Outstanding."

"Did I miss half-hour call? And does it matter if I'm not in the show?" EJ entered the room with roses in hand, causing a smile to grow on Soul's face as he bro-hugged Ricky.

"I'm so glad you came." Ricky smiled.

"Sitting out there, watching you guys is the second best place in the world tonight." EJ admitted, causing Ashlyn and Carlos to hug the boy's arm.

"Where's the first place?" Ricky asked.

"Getting to be on stage for one more show. But those days are behind me."

"Watch out or she might actually explode." Carlos teased looking at Soul, causing the group to turn their attention to the girl.

The girl stood there trying to contain her excitement as a smile grew on the Caswell's boy's face, causing Ashlyn and Carlos to let go of the boy as he made his way towards the girl.

"Hi." Soul grinned. "You're here."

"I told you I would be here ." EJ chuckled, holding the flowers out towards the girl. "For you."

"You are too sweet." Soul pouted, placing a kiss on the boy's cheek before wrapping her arms around the boy, causing him to place a kiss on her head.

"Biggie!" Ashlyn gasped, causing everyone to turn and look at the other door, finding the red headed boy.

"I'm not here! But you notice someone in the audience screaming, crying, throwing up, those are all things that I do."

"Big Red!" Soul smiled, pulling the boy into a hug after Ricky let him go. "It's so great to see you. It's not the same without you around here, I miss having you around."

"Well, I miss being around." Big Red said, causing Soul to chuckle before the girl was pulled away.

"Do you need anything? Want to shake the nerves out before you hit the stage?" EJ questioned, shaking his arms and legs, causing the girl to giggle as she shook her head.

"I think I'm good this time." Soul answered truthfully, causing the boy to smile, pulling her into a quick kiss.

"Go kill it." EJ smiled at the girl before making his way out the room.

"Wildcats, this is your five-minute call!" Maddox exclaimed, peeking her head into the door, flicking the lights on and off, causing the group to scream. "You guys don't do the lights thing?"

"We thought you'd be dead again." Ashlyn nervously chuckled along with Maddox.

"Soul there are some people here to see you in the hall." Maddox pointed at the girl with a smile before looking at her brother. "Bro bear you too."

Soul and Jet shared a look before quickly following the girl out the door.

A smile grew on the girl's face when she saw her family standing there, causing her to chuckle.

"Didn't think we'd miss your big show did you?" Sarah smirked, pulling the girl into a hug.

"Well kinda, you guys didn't mention coming." Soul pouted as she pulled Sam into a hug.

"We wouldn't want to be anywhere else." Sam said, placing a hand on Jet's shoulder, causing the boy to smile. "We also couldn't miss our little cousin in his first production at our alma mater."

"Sam, you act like you weren't a student here like seven months ago." Sully spoke, causing everyone to chuckle as Sam pulled his brother into his side.

"We just wanted to tell you four good luck, tonight." Mom smiled at the two children, niece and nephew, causing them to smile. "No part is too small."

"Thanks, Aunt Stella." Jet smiled as Maddox nodded before listening to her earpiece.

"Guys you got to get to places." Maddox said, causing Jet and Soul to nod.

"Quick group hug?" Soul smiled, causing Sam and Sarah to chuckle.

"Bring it in dork." Sam said, holding his arms out causing the four siblings to quickly pull each into a hug as the other three watched with a smile.

"You guys getting in or what?" Sully questioned, causing the four Walker siblings to look over at Maddox and Jet with smiles.

"You want us in your sibling hug?" Maddox said in disbelief.

"You guys are family." Sarah spoke in a duh tone. "We can make an exception."

"Come on." Soul chuckled, pulling Jet into the hug causing him to chuckle, wrapping his arm around her and Sarah's neck as Maddox was pulled in between Sam and Sully.

"Alright kids. Now lets go out there and kill it tonight!" Sam spoke, looking between Soul and Jet, causing them to share a smile as they nod. "Sul, Mads kill it with the boards. Make sure they look and sound extra pretty."

"Sam, your compliments have improved, I'm very impressed." Soul nodded, causing everyone to chuckle.

"Yeah, yeah."

"Just go out there and have some fun." Sarah smiled. "Perform like it's your last show ever."

Soul smiled lightly before she nodded.

"For dad?" Sully smiled, causing to the group to look around with smiles.

"For dad, but this one's also for us." Soul spoke, causing the others to grin before they broke off.

"Have fun, my beautiful babies." Mom said, sending the four teens a kiss. "We're gonna go find seats."

"Good luck."

The three Walkers disappeared down the hallway, leaving Soul, Sully, Jet and Maddox.

"Is that how those things usually go?" Jet chuckled, causing Sully and Soul to share a look before nodding.

"Pretty much."

"Well, sign me up for literally all of them." Maddox said, causing Soul to chuckle as she walked away with Jet.

"I should get back to the control booth before everyone heads out." Sully sent his sister a smile. "Good luck, Soul."

"You too, Sul."

Soul smiled as she watched her brother disappear down the hallway.

"Hey." A voice spoke from behind the girl, causing her to turn around making her roll her eyes. "I come with a peace offering."

"What do you want, Mack?" Soul crossed her arms, looking at the boy.

"I wanted to apologize to you for the way I have been acting ever since I got here. You know for constantly hitting on you even though you told me numerous times you had a boyfriend." Mack apologized. "I just thought you were gorgeous and I guess I'm not used to not getting my way. I mean, I can smile in any girl's direction and they'd be swoon because I'm Mack Alana. But not you."

"That's because I'm happily taken." Soul spoke, causing the boy to nod. "And could care less about someone's celebrity status."

"And I respect that." Mack held out a plant, causing the girl to eye the boy as she hesitantly took it. "It's a 100-year-old bird of paradise. A friend of mine grows them. It's John Stamos."

"Is that supposed to impress me?" Soul questioned, raising her eyebrow at the boy.

"Why? Does it?" Mack asked, causing the girl to show the boy the promise ring that sat on her ring finger, causing his smirk to falter. "Right, very taken. Well I hope you have a good show. Break a leg."

The boy sent the girl a small smile before making his way past her, causing her to close her eyes.

"Mack." Soul called, turning to face the boy, causing him to stop as he looked at the girl. "Not all girls just want someone who they can show off. Sometimes all they need is someone who's there and who cares."

The boy sent her a small nod and one last smile before he turned, making his way down the hall.

Soul glanced down at the plant before quickly making her way back into the dressing room.

"Mack gave you one too?" Gina pointed out, looking at the plant in the Walker girl's hands causing her to nod as she sat it down beside the bouquet of roses from EJ.

"Everyone, let's circle up. Circle up." Miss Jenn called, making her way into the dressing room dressed as Miss Darbus, causing the group to grab hands. "And hands. Hands. My babies. I know that some of you are disappointed that we don't have the auditorium tonight because Quinn and her band of Hollywood elites have secured it for some other kind of event."

Soul squeezed Gina's hand in support, causing her to send the shorter girl a smile of appreciation.

"But tonight, after promising the principal that this is now an unofficial event, we have the homecoming gym, and an audience of loved ones, and each other. And we have our dreams. And to quote a wise coach, 'you only have two hours left to be a team. So, go out there and hold each other close tonight because you never know who might be taking flight tomorrow.'"

"Places!" Maddox happily exclaimed, causing Gina and Ashlyn to let out an excited scream, causing the rest of the group to follow before everyone to quickly race out of the dressing room.

"2 hours left." Soul said, smiling up at the Porter girl.

"Let's make the most of it." Gina grinned, bumping hips with the girl before they quickly got to their places.
