"Soul get up," Sarah said, excitedly while shaking her younger sister. "Today is finally the day!"

"The day for what?" Soul mumbleds, rolling over to face her sister as she rubbed her eyes.

"It's Opening Night!" Sully says, causing Soul's eye's to snap open, seeing her three siblings in front of beside her bed as a smile grew on her face.

"Also EJ called since you didn't text him back saying that he will be here at noon to get you, so you might want to get a move on it," Sam said with a smile, causing Soul to quickly grab her phone to see that it was 11:30.

"Crap," Soul muttered, jumping from her bed, making her way over to her closet trying to find something to wear.

Quickly grabbing her bag, putting it on, making her way down the stairs, putting in her earrings.

"How do I l-" Soul said, stopping in the doorway as she sees her mother placing pancakes on the table that was already full of food.

"Soul! There you are! Good Morning sweetie!" Mom said, walking over with a big smile as she kisses Soul's head before making her way back to the table.

"Good Morning?... Um, what's going on here?" Soul questioned, confused as she looked around the table, looking at her siblings as they all sat around it, noticing that Jeff was nowhere in sight.

"Well, I decided to make breakfast for you guys before your opening tonight," Mom explained, taking a seat in the spot where she usually sits."Sit, sit!"

"Actually, EJ should be here soon to get me." Soul said, sending her mother a smile.

"Yeah in like 5 minutes," Sam said, stuffing his mouth with pancakes, causing Soul to playfully glare at him. "These pancakes are amazing."

"Come on Soul, you love my pancakes," Mom says with a big smile. "I'm sure you're hungry."

"When isn't she," Sully said, jokingly, causing Soul to playfully push him as she took a seat beside him, causing them all to chuckle.

"So Mom, where's Jeff," Sarah asked, taking a sip from her orange juice, causing everyone to look over at their mother.

"That's actually what I wanted to talk to you kids about, I was going to wait till after the musical but I guess now is better than never," Mom said, setting her cup of coffee down. "Jeff left this morning, I decided that it was best for this family if he was no longer a part of our lives and I know I should have let him go sooner with the way he was treating you guys and I will forever be upset with myself and I hope that you guys could possibly forgive me."

Mom picked up a towel from the table as she wiped the tears from her eyes, causing us all to look around at each other with wide eyes as Sully grabbed their mom's hand.

"Why did you let him stay, Mom?" Soul asked, looking over at their mom with hurt in her voice.

"I was scared of being alone," Mom said, looking down, shaking her head sadly, causing the four siblings to quickly look at each other before turning back to their mother. "Your father was the only stable thing in my life before you kids came. When we met on the first day of high school, I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him. Then came Junior year, I became pregnant with Sam and Sarah and my parents became beyond furious with me and they kicked me out of the only home I've ever known and your fathers parents gladly took me in when my parents couldn't stand to look at me. I mean here I am now a 34 year old widowed mom with 4 kids who can't seem to get over the fact that she is alone."

"Mom, you're not alone," Sully said, causing them to all send her a small smile.

"I mean some of the things that you've done these past few months haven't been the best but I wouldn't say you're alone, Mom." Soul spoke up, causing her three siblings. "But please promise us one thing."

"Anything." Mom said, nodding her head as she looked around at her kids as they looked at each other.

"No more drinking," Sarah said, causing the other three to nod. "You aren't yourself when you do."

"No more drinking," Mom said, nodding her head, placing her hand over her heart. "I promise you all."

The sound of a car honking came from outside, causing Soul to quickly stand up from her seat, stuffing the rest of the pancake in her mouth, saying, "That's EJ, I got to run but I'll catch you guys later."

"Wait, take this," Mom says, stopping the girl before she moves anymore, grabbing a bag as she holds it out to her daughter. "It's just a few snacks, make sure you eat something."

"Thanks, Mom," Soul said, grabbing the bag as she wrapped her arms around her Mom into a hug.

"Good luck tonight, bug. You're going to do great," Mom whispered into her ear before kissing the top of her daughters head before a honk was once again heard.

"I got to go!" Soul exclaimed, sending her family a big smile before quickly making her way to the door. "Love you!"

Before anyone had the chance to respond, Soul was quickly out the door, closing it behind her as she made her way to EJ's car.

As she made her way towards the car, she noticed the familiar redhead looking her way as she smiled and waved at him, causing him to mirror her but was cut off by the sound of EJ honking his horn, causing her to quickly make her way into his car.

"What's got you britches in a twist," Soul joked, closing the door before turning towards her friend, sending a worried EJ. "What's wrong?"

"We have a huge problem!" EJ freaked out, throwing his hands up.

"Calm down, just breathe!" Soul said, putting her hand on the poor boy's shoulder, causing him to let out a breath. "Now, tell me what happened."

"So, you know the gift I got for Sarah, right?" EJ asked, turning to face her, causing the girl to nod. "Well lets just say we have a huge problem."

EJ pulled out a long velvet box, opening it to reveal a necklace with an E, like the necklace Troy gave Gabriella in HSM2.

"EJ, it's beautiful! This reminds me of the charms on my bracelet!" Soul says, grabbing the box from him, staring down at the necklace as she holds up her arm, causing him to grab it as he examines it.

"I've noticed you wear it all the time." EJ asked, messing with the charms, causing the girl to nod as she looked at the bracelet hanging from her wrist. "What do they mean... The charms."

"Well the 3 is for being 3rd born, the lightning bolt is for my favorite movie series; Harry Potter, an angel for my dad" Soul explained, pointing at each charm. "My dad was actually the one who gave me the bracelet and my first charm right before he died; the music note for our love of music."

"What about that one?" EJ asked, pointing at the gold shoe.

"Gina actually gave it to me before she left as a gift to remind me that she is with me wherever we are," Soul explained, smiling at the newest charm before looking back to EJ. "I hope to fill it one day."

"Maybe one day, I'll be lucky enough to make it on to your bracelet," EJ said, smiling at the girl.

"Of course," Soul said, smiling back, causing the duo to chuckle as Soul noticed the box still in her hand. "So back to your situation, what exactly is the problem?"

"Well..." EJ said, picking up the necklace, causing the pendent E to fall back into the box, revealing a broken chain.

"Okay..." Soul said, nodding her head, chuckling. "That is a problem... but we can easily get that fix."

"Of course!" EJ exclaimed, grabbing ahold of her shoulders as a giant smile grew across face. "We just have to take it back to the jewelers! Genius!"

"I mean, I try," Soul says jokingly, causing them both to chuckle.

T-minus 35 minutes to showtime and nervous was an understatement to how both Soul and EJ were feeling, both for different reasons.

"What did we talk about, you're going to do amazing tonight! So let's wipe away those nerves!" EJ says, stopping in front of his best friend as they wipe their hands down their arms to their hands as if they're pushing all the nerves away doing the same thing with their entire body. "Better?"

"Actually, yes! Thanks," Soul says, pulling him into a tight hug, letting out a huge sigh as she was feeling 10 times better even though she was still feeling jitters. "What would I do without you?"

"Crash and Burn?" EJ joking questions, causing the girl to hit him on the arm, causing them both to chuckle. "I'm kidding, Soul. You would have done great, with or without me. Your dad would be proud."

"Thanks, EJ," Soul said, sending him another smile but all the attention was turned to Carlos as he came into the bomb shelter pushing a cart of flowers.

"We've got flowers, people!" Carlos exclaimes, entering the room before placing a giant bouquet on top of a drum. "Along with some mystery flowers."

"Wow, those are massive." EJ says, looking at the size before looking over at Soul with wide eyes, causing her to quickly shrug as she didn't know.

"Why mystery?" Big Red, questioned.

"There was no card, so I'm guessing it's a dealer's choice." Carlos explained, chuckling before looking over at Nini. "But if I had to bet, I'd say it's for our leading lady."

This causes Nini to look over at Ricky, causing Soul's heart to drop a little as she looks between the two.

"Not from me. Sorry," Ricky explained, causing Soul to let out a silent breath that she didn't know she was holding as Ricky quickly glanced over at Soul before looking back.

"It's okay," Nini said, sending a small smile before everyone turned back to Carlos.

"Do the other flowers have cards?" Kourtney questioned from her spot right beside Nini.

"Oh, Yes! Let's see.." Carlos said, turning around to look back at the cart, picking up two identical bouquets of roses one yellow and the other pink. "Soul and Sarah, these are for you."

"Wait, what?" Soul asked, shocked walking over to Carlos grabbing them from his arms, looking to see that the card was indeed for her.

"Who are they from?" EJ questioned, wrapping his arm around the girl, looking down at her as she made her way back beside him.

"They're from my mom. She's here." Soul said, wiping her strain tears from her face as she looked up at the boy sending him a smile.

"Are you okay?" EJ whispered to the girl as Carlos handed out another bouquet to one of the dancers, causing her to nod.

"I'm fine, besides this is your big moment," Soul said, sending her best friend a smile as she watched Carlos pick up a medium size bouquet that matched the ones already in Sarah's hands, causing EJ to tense up. "Relax, she's going to love it!"

"Sarah, these are also for you!" Carlos says excitedly, causing Sarah's head to snap in his direction away from Seb with a shocked look on her face. "But there's no signature."

"You didn't sign your name!" Soul whisper yelled to the taller boy, eyes widening. "That was the entire point of the card."

"I know I -" EJ said, rushing when someone else spoke up.

"Why don't you read it out loud?" Seb said, causing everyone to agree, causing EJ and Soul to quickly glance at one another before looking towards Sarah.

"Yeah, okay." Sarah said, nodding looking down at the note as she began reading it aloud. "Sarah, thanks for all the help and for being the best friend anyone could ask for. You get me! signed blank."

After Sarah began reading, Soul and EJ quickly looked at each other with big eyes.

"What happened to the card where you asked her out?!" Soul whisper yelled once again to EJ.

"They must have mixed up the notes!" EJ admitted, causing Soul to look at him confused. "I also got a single rose for you but I guess they mixed up the notes!"

"At least you didn't sign the cards!" Soul said, causing both of them to let out a sigh of relief.

"Soul it looks like that last one is for you," Carlos announced, pulling out a single rose, causing Soul to quickly look at Carlos. "It looks like it's from EJ."

That caused everyone to look at the pair as Soul looked up at EJ with wide eyes before heading over to Carlos, collecting the rose.

"Thanks," Soul says, smiling at the boy, taking the rose from him.

"You should read it," Nini says, causing everyone to start chattering.

"I don't think that's the best idea," EJ interjects, shaking his head as Soul nodded in agreement.

"Come on it's just a note right," Ricky said, causing everyone to agree.

"I mean Sarah did just read hers out." Seb said, causing everyone to nod.

"Seb's right, just read the card," Sarah said, looking at her sister as EJ let out a breath as he closed his eyes.

"Um, okay," Soul said, giving EJ one last glance before looking down at the note, clearing her throat before she began reading. "Soul, I've been wanting to ask you this for a while but I never knew how to so I am just going to say it, Would you go on a date with me? Good luck, tonight I know that you are going to kill it. EJ."

The whole room fell silent, no one knowing what to say as Soul eye's quickly glanced at her sister as she could see the hurt written all over her face as the same face was worn by Ricky Bowen.

"Wait, let us explain," EJ quickly said, walking over to his best friend's side, grabbing the rose from her hands.

"Explain what? That you two clearly have something going on and were too scared to just say it to our faces." Sarah said, hurt dripping from her tone.

"It's not like that at all!" Soul quickly exclaimed, causing EJ to nod his head in agreement. "This past few months I've been helping EJ-"

"Ask you out." EJ finished Soul's sentence looking directly at the older sister, causing Sarah to snap her head in his direction. "The card was meant for you but they somehow got mixed up."

"Wait, really?" Sarah asked, looking between the duo, causing them both to nod. "All the sneaking around and whispering-"

"I was helping him plan everything." Soul explained, sending her sister a smile as she looked up at her best friend. "And let me tell you guys something, he is terrible at plans."

"I am not!" EJ exclaimed, looking down at the girl as she gave him a look, crossing her arms.

"You wanted to rollerskate in a bear costume, singing Bruno Mars!" Soul shot back, causing everyone watching the duo to chuckle.

"Yeah, that's pretty bad," Seb said, laughing, causing everyone to chuckle as they agreed.

"You were going to do that for me?" Sarah asked, stopping in front of the older boy, causing him to nod as a smile grew on the girl's face as they both chuckled before she looked back up at him. "That's the sweetest thing anyone has done or well tried to do for me."

"So, what do you say?" EJ asked, handing the girl the right note. "Will you go on a date with me?"

"I would love to go on a date with you EJ," Sarah said, smiling from ear to ear, causing the cast to aww as the two hugged.

"Half hour!" Natalie Bagley exclaimed, walking into the room, causing everyone's attention to turn from Sarah and EJ to her as someone let out an excited scream as the nerves came rushing back to Soul.

"Okay, last touches, anyone? Speak now, or forever hold your face!" Kourtney exclaimed, looking around the dressing room.

"Me, please!" Soul said, quickly making her way over to Kourtney as she quickly touched up the girl's makeup.

"Where are you going to be during the show?" Seb questioned, looking at the girl as she was putting the final powder on Soul's face but before she had the chance to answer, Miss Jenn came walking into the bomb shelter room.

"My beautiful babies, let's gather round for some housekeeping!" Miss. Jenn exclaimed, clapping her hands as everyone began to gather around in a circle. "First of all, who brought Versailles?"

"No one knows." Carlos says from beside Soul as she stood between him and EJ, across from Miss Jenn.

"Well, I suppose we'll just have to share, then." Miss Jenn said, looking away from the flowers to her students. "Oh, and speaking of sharing, most of you know that our dazzling Taylor had to leave under family circumstances."

"Gina also sends her love and support to everyone!" Soul speaks up, causing MIss Jenn to send the girl a smile.

"Yes, unfortunately she's on the East Coast and won't be able to make it to tonight's performance." Miss Jenn announces, causing Soul to frown a bit, causing EJ and Carlos to squeeze her hands. "And so, I have asked Kourtney to fill in her stead."

This caused everyone to cheer and clap in excitement for Kourtney.

"So now, what I would like to do is, please think of a word or phrase from the show that expresses where your head is, or your goals for tonight. If anyone wants to share," Miss Jenn explained, causing everyone to look around at each other.

"You're my guys and this is our team." Big Red said, speaking up first after the moment of silence, causing everyone to chuckle.

"What if you wanna try something really new, and it's a total disaster and all your friends laugh at you?" Ricky said, standing up from the piano bench.

"Oh, um... Do you ever feel like there's this whole other person inside of you just looking for a way to come out?" Nini quoted, causing people to chuckle.

"Do the romp, and strut your stuff!" Carlos said, shaking his hips.

"Hey!" Seb and Sarah exclaimed together.

"My shower head is very impressed with me." Kourtney says.

"I'm proud to call you my sister," EJ says, looking down at Ashlyn on his other side, causing people to aww.

"Aw, it's close enough," Ashlyn says with a sarcastic smile, causing everyone to laugh as she holds up her hands."My nail beds are history."

"Sisters," Sarah says, holding her hands up like Ashlyn, causing everyone to chuckle.

"Sharpay's kinda cute, too." Seb says, looking over at Nini and Big Red.

"So is a mountain lion, but you don't pet it!" Everyone exclaimed in response, causing everyone to laugh.

"Um... Do you remember in kindergarten how you'd meet a kid and know nothing about them, then 10 seconds later you're playing like you're best friends because you didn't have to be anything but yourself?" Soul says, looking around the group with a smile, grabbing onto EJ and Carlos' hands once again as they all nod with smiles. "Singing with you felt like that."

"And I'll just say, no matter what happens tonight, we're all in this together." Miss Jenn says, followed by the clap of her hands. "Okay, Wildcats, take a moment to settle your nerves, if we had a curtain, it would be up in 20 minutes!"

This caused everyone to cheer once again, going to change into costumes and doing whatever it was they were doing beforehand.

"Okay, how are we feeling?" EJ asked, stopping in front of the mirrors facing Soul once again.

"All the nerves came rushing back when Miss Jenn said 20 minutes!" Soul said, letting out a shaky voice as she waved her hands frantically. "Then my mom is also here... and I'm just freaking out!"

"Hey, hey, hey!" EJ said, placing his hands on the girl's shoulders, forcing her to look at him.
"You're going to be amazing out there! You want to know why, because I have never met anyone who can act, dance or sing as amazingly as you can! You have trained your entire life for this, don't sike yourself out now, you've come too far!"

"You're right, I can do this." Soul said, letting out a breath as she nodded her head as EJ's phone buzzed for what seemed like the 30th time that day. "Okay, who's been blowing up your phone like that all day?"

"Yeah, it's no one," EJ said, shaking his head, causing Soul to give him a look. "I can't tell you it's a surprise... and no I won't tell you what it is. Come on, let's shake the nerves off one more time."

"Fine." Soul said, letting out a sigh as they once again wiped down their arms and legs, pushing off all bad nerves.

"You good?" EJ asked, causing the girl to nod as she sent him a smile. "Good, I'll catch you in sec.?"

"Yeah," Soul said, nodding as she sent him a smile as he smiled back before walking off on his phone.

"Hey," Another voice from behind said, causing her to quickly turn around to find Sarah and Sully, knowing that the voice came from Sarah. "Pre show nerves?"

"Can you tell?" Soul asks, letting out a light chuckle, looking at both of her siblings. "I'll be fine, I'm sure once I hit the stage they'll go away."

"Hey about the whole EJ thing-" Sarah said but Soul cut her off.

"I'm sorry about that! I had promised EJ I wouldn't say -" Soul started but was pulled into a hug before she had the chance to finish. "And now we're hugging? Why are we hugging?"

"Thanks," Sarah said, smiling from ear to ear as she let her sister go, looking up at her. "These past few months I haven't been the best sister to you, while you've been helping me get a date with the guy who I've been into for a while. I'm so sorry."

"Sarah it's fine, I probably would have reacted the same way if the roles were reversed." Soul said, shaking her head.

"No you wouldn't," Both Sarah and Sully say in unison.

"Yeah, I wouldn't," Soul said, shaking her head as they all chuckled. "Group hug?"

"Did I hear someone say group hug?" Sam says, popping up beside Soul and Sarah. "Miss Jenn let me come back to say good luck... so good luck, dorks."

"Oh, how sweet," Sarah says, sarcastically as she places her hand over her heart. "That's the nicest thing you've said to me."

"What I meant is that you two are going to do amazing out there on the stage and you Sul, I know you'll make them shine with all the tech and stuff," Sam said, sending them all a smile. "How is that?"

"Better," Sarah says, jokingly but breaks into a grin. "Thanks Sammy."

"Yeah, it was sweet," Soul agreed, sending her older brother a big smile, looking around the dressing room. "It's just weird doing this without dad, you know it was always our thing."

"Well instead of doing it with him, you can do it for him," Sully explains, looking over at his sister. "For Dad?"

"For Dad!" The other three said in unison with a smile as they wrapped their arms around each other.

"Alright let's head down!" Miss Jenn said, clapping her hands, causing the siblings to let each other go, taking a step back.

"Good Luck," Sam says, sending one last smile before making his way from the dressing room.

As Soul looked up, her eye's noticed the interaction with Nini and Ricky from across as they sat there and stared at each other for a second as they sent each other a small smile.

"You okay?" Sarah asked, causing her sister to quickly look her way as she sent her smile.

"Yeah, I'm fine." Soul said, shaking her head looking at both of her siblings. "Come on, let's go."

As Sully departed from the group making his way back to the rest of the tech team as Sarah and Soul met with the rest of the cast outside of the dressing room.

Grabbing onto Carlos and Nini's hand, the cast stood in a circle just praying in silent but Soul felt eyes on her causing her to look up to find Ricky straight across from her causing her to become even more confused, before closing her eyes once again before Miss Jenn directed them towards the gym where the musical was going to be held.

Before Soul had the chance to move she was stopped by the girl beside her.

"Hey, Soul!" Nini exclaimed, causing the girl to turn towards her as she sent her a big smile.

"Hey, Nini!" Soul said, sending her a smile in return. "What's up?"

"I actually have this for you!" Nini said, shuffling through a stack of envelopes in her hand before handing over a yellow one.

"Nini's famous opening night card," Soul said, taking the envelope for Nini's outreached hand, smiling down at it before sending the girl in front of her another one. "Oh, how I missed these. Thanks, Nini."

"Yeah, no problem, I remember how much you used to enjoy them!" Nini said, nodding her head. "But make sure you don't read it till after the show!"

"I'll make sure not to!" Soul said, sticking it carefully inside of her inside pocket. "Thanks again!"

"Do you think maybe we could hangout soon?" Nini asked, suddenly out of the blue. "I don't know, we could have a girl's day. Me, you and Kourt!"

"Yeah sure, that sounds like lots of fun!" Soul said, nodding her head with a smile, causing the brunette to smile big.

"Great, great!" Nini said, nodding her head. "Well, good luck tonight! I personally can't wait to hear your song! I'm sure it's going to be incredible!"

"Yeah, thanks! I'm very excited to be performing it, it means a lot to me," Soul explained. "Also good luck to you! You are going to make one killer Gabriella!"

"Yeah, thanks! Well I need to go get these out before the show starts!" Nini said, lifting up the stack in her hand, causing the two to chuckle. "But, I'll catch you out there?"

Soul nodded, before Nini made her way up the stairs and Soul not too far after.

Soul stood on the side of the stage behind the curtains, beside EJ as they watched Ricky and Nini do the ski lodge scene, well Soul was watching, EJ was on his phone.

"EJ?," Ashlyn said, approaching the duo, sending Soul a smile.

"Yeah?" EJ questioned, typing on his phone.

"You know we're putting on an actual show, right?" Ashyln asked, not taking her eyes off of the two on stage.

"Hey, thanks, Ash, I have the power of sight." EJ says sarcastically, chuckling, causing the brunette beside him to chuckle too.

"You wanna get off your phone for ten minutes and be a part of the team?" Ashlyn says, causing Soul to shake her head.

"I've tried that multiple times, Ash, I think he's physically attached to that thing," Soul said, causing the two to chuckle.

"Uhh..." EJ said, clearing his throat, locking his phone before putting it down, looking up. "Sorry, yeah"

"Forgiven," Both girls say as the three go back to watching the ski lodge scene, as the sound of the scoreboard went off, causing them to all look at each other cracking a smile.

Everyone was back in the bomb shelter getting ready for 'Stick To The Status Quo' number and let's just say people were freaking out about Gina's tray-ography as Carlos and Soul tried teaching it to Kourtney.

"Mmm-mmm." Kourtney says, quickly standing up from a split position. "Carlos, Soul, this is as far as I can split."

Before either of them had the chance to respond, Miss Jenn came into the dressing room clapping her hands, gaining everyone's attention once again.

"Ladies and gentlemen, it is time for Stick To The Status Quo," Miss Jenn announces, causing a lot of people to cheer. "This is our biggest Act One showstopper, and you're all going to kill it because I love you. Any questions?"

"I have a couple hundred." Kourtney quickly said, sticking her hand up.

"How is the Taylor dance break gonna work?" Seb asked. "Gina's tray-ography is really complex."

"I can run to the pit and have the orchestra cut that part!" Carlos says quickly, causing Soul to shake her head.

"I can do it!" Soul says, after everyone started complaining, causing everyone to look at the girl. "I mean I did help Gina with most of the dance, I could easily do it in my sleep."

"Or we could just have Gina do it." Kourtney says, looking at the door with a smile, causing all heads to snap to the door to see the Porter girl standing there with cupcakes in hand.

"Gina!" Everyone exclaimed, rushing towards the girl as she placed the package on the container as she was hugged by Carlos and Kourtney as Soul stood there with a giant smile on her face.

"You guys, I don't want to interrupt," Gina says, smiling giantly at the entire cast in front of her.

"How did you get here?" Carlos asked.

"A friend bought me a last-minute flight back." Gina explained. "I was gonna drop off these cupcakes, then hide in the gym and cheer you guys on."

"Gina, no one in the gym wants to hide more than I do." Kourtney explained.

"Wait, are you playing Taylor?" Gina asked the girl, realizing what she had on.

"I was, and it was nice, and now it's your turn to save my butt and do the dance." Kourtney explained, sticking out the tray in her hands to Gina. "Please. I'm asking you."

Causing everyone to look at Gina as she looked over at Miss Jenn.

"Can I?" Gina asked, causing the drama teacher to smile.

"Of course. You can do the curtain call together." Miss Jenn explained, causing Gina to grab the tray. " Let's hit the halls, people."

Everyone quickly left the dressing room, leaving Gina and Soul as Soul watched the girl pull out her dance shoes with a big smile.

"So the shoes make a reappearance," Soul says, causing Gina to quickly look her way with a big smile. "You weren't kidding when you said you never leave the house without them huh?"

"Soul!" Gina says happily, tightly hugging the shorter girl. "I missed you so much."

"I missed you too," Soul says, letting out a breath that she didn't know she was holding as she wrapped her arms around the girl. "I'm glad you're here."

"It's good to be back," Gina said as the girls let go of one another as she looked around the room. "It was weird being away from you, the whole cast -"

"Your family?" Soul questioned with a smile, causing Gina to look back at her with an even bigger smile.

"My family," Gina agreed with a nod.

"Come on, you need to get dressed for 'Stick To The Status Quo'" Soul said, wrapping her arms around the girl. "As they say in the theatre, 'The show must go on'.

As the song came to end, Soul began to freak out because that meant one more scene before the end of act one, meaning one more scene closer to her performance as the sound of 'Getcha Head In The Game' filled her ears and her nerves started to get to her as she began to feel sick.

"Hey, hey what's going on?" Kourtney asked, noticing the girl's face going pale. "Are you about to vomit because I can go get a bucket?"

"Everything's fine," Soul said, shaking her head sending a slight smile. "Are you hot because I'm starting to feel hot?"

"That's not good, let's find you a seat and some water!" Kourtney said, starting to panic, wrapping her arm around the girl as she placed Soul's arm around her shoulders.

"What's going on?!" Sarah exclaimed, noticing Kourtney walking by with her pale sister. "Is she okay?"

"I'm fine," Soul says, shaking her head as she tried letting go of Kourtney but nearly fell. "Okay, maybe I'm feeling a little woozy."

"Help me get her to the dressing room!" Kourtney said, causing the older sister to immediately wrap her arms around her sister, placing Soul's other arm around her shoulder like Kourtney's as they guided her to the dressing room.

"Coming through!" Sarah called, making their way into the bomb shelter, gaining the room's attention as they dragged the girl into the room.

"Woah, what's going on?" Gina asked, running up to the three along with a worried look. "Soul! Is she okay?"

"I don't know, she was looking pale and then she nearly fell over," Kourtney explained quickly. "I really have to be backstage or Miss Jenn is going to freak," Kourtney explained, causing Gina to rush to Soul's side. "I'll let Miss Jenn know what's going on."

"Can you also send Sam and our Mom in here?" Sarah asked, causing Kourtney to nod before scurrying out of the room as a dancer went to get water. "Thanks, Drink!"

"Here, sit her down," Gina said, ushering them to sit her on the small stage before sitting beside her, causing Soul to lay her head on her shoulder in response.

"Oh, dear!" Miss Jenn said, rushing into the room not even 2 minutes after the songs finished with Soul's mother and her two brothers, while EJ, Ricky, Nini, Kourtney, Seb and Carlos were nowhere in sight.

"Soul, honey how are you feeling?" Mom asked, crouching in front of her daughter, placing her hand on her forehead as she sat on the edge of the small stage

"I'm fine, Mom," Soul said, lifting her head from Gina's shoulder. "I was just feeling a little light headed, it's probably nothing."

"Soul, you nearly fell over when I first saw you with Kourtney," Sarah said, looking over at her sister in disbelief. "If that's fine then I would love to see what it would mean to be bad."

"Have you drank or eaten anything?" Sam asked, standing behind his crouching mother with his arms crossed. "Water or any food?"

"No... I guess I forgot to," Soul said, slightly shrugging as she rubbed her arms, avoiding eye contact with everyone.

"What happened to the snacks I gave you this morning?" Mom asked, messing with her daughter's hair. "Did you eat any of that?"

"It must have slipped my mind," Soul said, letting out a breath. "I've just been stressing a lot with the musical, the song and just everything else."

"Why didn't you say anything, honey?" Miss Jenn asked, concerned. "I would have pulled the song before if I knew. Ashlyn, go run and tell the orchestra to-"

"No!" Soul said, quickly causing some to jump. "I mean, I need this more than anything. This song means so much to me. "

"Soul, you nearly fainted," Sully said. "I think you can skip this one song."

"It's the last song that me and my dad wrote together," Soul explained, looking at the group before her attention goes directly to Miss Jenn. "Miss Jenn, please. I need this."

"Fine!!" Miss Jenn said, giving in after a few seconds of silence, causing Soul to smile big. "We have less than 15 minutes til act 2, please eat something! We don't need you passing out on stage."

"Got it! Can someone grab my bag for me?" I asked, pointing at the yellow bag, causing Ashlyn to quickly grab it. "Thanks Ash,"

Causing her to send a smile in response before everyone began rushing to get changed for the second act, while Soul sat in the corner with her family as they sat with her to make sure she ate something.
