ANNIE MARKS WASN'T one for the supernatural. She tended to find herself laughing at those around her who saw the numerous murders in Shadyside to be the act of demons. It was completely idiotic, in Annie's words.

She tended to mind her own business. Keeping to her friends and just staying out of other peoples way. Having a mother who got pregnant in her teens and kicked from her own home didn't exactly make it hard for Annie to stick out. Especially when considering the one who got her mom pregnant died in one of the Shadyside murder sprees.

Annie enjoyed her Shadyside life. She got to go around with her friends, doing what she wanted with no set time to be home and found her only bit of stability through her job working at the movie rental shop in the Shadyside mall, her friends, and boyfriend.

Annie didn't need an evil bitch sending murderous, dead, killers after her and her friends, but that's exactly what she got. People who lived in Shadyside didn't tend to survive and being known as Killer Capital, USA, they weren't about to.
