According to ancient Chinese philosophy, Yin and Yang are two opposite or contrary forces that are needed. Each individuals have Yin and Yang in them to create a good harmony for them to function properly as a human being.

The Chinese zodiac analysis is heavily influences by the Yin and Yang concept to determine one's personality, traits and compatibility.

"Akito said they are coming back from their training in Russia." Shigure announced.

"They?"

Tohru's mind began to think endless questions that are threaten to come out from her lips. She was sure she has met all the zodiac signs members of Sohma family but who, could possibly be the other two that she hasn't meet? The fact that the cruel head of the family himself announced that, they must be very important to the family.

"Honda-san, you must have heard about the Yin and Yang concept." Yuki's question was responded with a nod by the latter. "It was said that the Yin and Yang has a very big influence towards us, the zodiac signs members. We are bound by their emotions, personalities and talent-wise.

The rat, the tiger, the dragon, the dog and the monkey each have the Yang's emotions, personalities and talent. The same goes for the Yin. Depending on the year we are born, our personality is heavily influence by the Yin and Yang's five elements which are Water, Wood, Fire, Earth and Metal."

Kyo's three brain cells would definitely stop working to grasp all the information explained by Yuki if he was in Tohru's place.

"Most of the time, the Yin and Yang pair are soulmates since the concept is two contrast elements that complete each other. This time, however, Yin and Yang concept holder goes to a pair of twin." Shigure added.

The swirling thoughts in Tohru's mind began to make her lose her focus on the discussion. So many questions are yet to be answer and so many things are yet to be known. The vast knowledge she has yet to learn in depth about the ancient Chinese philosophy makes her feel so small, so tiny in comparison with the Sohma's.

"Don't worry much about it, Tohru-kun. The Yin Yang twins are really friendly."

The innocent Honda Tohru was about to agree with the saying 'All men do is lie' when one of the twin never bothers to put any effort to talk to her. Only one of them make her feel welcome in their conversation.

"Don't mind about Itsuki, Tohru-chan." the younger twin flashed her a smile. Tohru noted that the girl in front of her is Yang and the brother, Itsuki, is Yin. "Itsuki need more time than I do to open up to new people. He'll be comfortable around you in no time."

The long-haired female nodded her head enthusiastically. "It's okay, Sohma-san! I don't want to push Itsuki-san to talk to me if he doesn't want to." a realization hit her like a truck. "Ah, I'm really sorry! I haven't gotten your name yet."

"Himari."

"Hm?"

"We don't really call her by her actual name. Most of the time, it's Himari." Kyo nonchalantly explained. "That damn rat gave her that nickname, saying she's the ball of sunshine or whatever that crap is."

Himari. A ball of light. Sunflower.

Tohru thought the nickname really suit the girl sitting across her. She radiates a cheerful energy though her lips weren't curve to its fullest. Quite contrast to her twin, Itsuki, who doesn't radiates the sunshine forces. He make a small conversation every once in a while with a small smile but Tohru still can feel the cold exterior around him.

"Outsiders like you obviously does not appreciate literature and a deep meaning of something."

"Wanna fight, flamboyant boy?!"

"I'm really sorry for their behaviour." Shigure sent the twins an apologetic smile. "How was Russia, you two?"

"It was spectacular." Itsuki beamed. "I wish to train there again someday with Yakov and the rest. They said they'll call us again in the future."

Shigure glanced at the duo before a smirk tugged on his lips. "It'll be nice for you two to go there again to gain some experience but I'm afraid it'll be a huge distraction to Yuki over here."

The aforementioned froze at his name being mention. He pushed his sworn enemy away with bright red all over his face and spluttering out some nonsense to defend himself.

"Stop making yourself look dumb, rat. Just say you miss Himari and go."

"Shut up!"

Tohru tilted her head to the side in confusion. "Are Himari-san and Yuki-kun dating?"

"No, but it's obvious Yuki likes my sister." Itsuki responded. "Himari is one of the few people that could hug him without transforming into his animal zodiac so it's not really a suprise if he likes her."

"Really?!"

Itsuki hide his smile at the Tohru's sparkling eyes at his words before proceeding to explain humans who possess the spirit of any animal zodiac sign will not transform if being touch their respective Yin and Yang element. Yin animals like the Ox, Rabbit, Snake, Sheep, Rooster, Pig will not transform if being touch by the Yin (if the spirit possessor is of the opposite gender) and same goes for Yang.

"What about Kyo-kun, then?"

"He's the Yin animal according to Vietnam zodiac philosophy."

"The more you know." Himari flashed her a smile. 

Yuki averted his gaze from her. He felt like the longer he stare, the redder his face will be and sitting beside her definitely did not help to calm down the intensity of his beating heart. He tuned out all the voices that were busy explaining to Tohru to focus on his own feelings.

"Yuki." he felt his heart stop for a second. "Stop minding your own business and talk to me, coward."

The boy who possessed the rat spirit chew on his bottom lip out of nervousness. He was never one to back down from someone's gaze.

"I didn't mean to." he tried to sound as prideful as possible but who is he to deceive her, his Yang?

A heavy sigh left her lips. The guiltiness in him began to grow bigger as the silence between them grow longer. 

His left hand reached out for her right one before intertwining their fingers together. The distance between them was slowly become smaller as he tried to scoot without attracting attention. 

"I miss you so much to the point I was unsure where to begin our conversation."
