15 years later

Aliyan was walking to and fro in tension as Dua and Hadi were not back.

Dua went to her competition which was held in Islamabad for three days. For her safety, Aliyan told Hadi to go with Dua even though he didn't want to stay with her alone.

Since childhood, they were really good friends. No one can separate them from each other but suddenly after Hadi turned 15 he started to keep his distance from Dua.

Shees, Emaan, Aliyan, and Afaf all were stressed by his sudden change in behavior. But Hadi assured everyone that he was just sorting his life and wanted to achieve the goals he set for his life. He said that he wanted to stand on his own feet just like his Dad and Uncle Shees.

Everyone was very proud of him but no one knows the intention behind those words.

Aliyan called Shees in stress. After 3 rings he picked up the call.

Buddy where the hell are you? Aliyan shouted in the phone that Shees pulled away from the phone from his ear.

What's wrong Aliyan? It's literally 10 in the morning. Why are you shouting like a bear? Aliyan could hear his yawning from the phone.

Did you even know that your daughter is nowhere to be found? I have been calling her and Hadi but no one is picking up the phone.

Shees felt like someone snatched the ground under his feet.

What are you talking about buddy? Did you call her teachers? Shees asked in anxiety.

Do you think I am an idiot? Of course, I confirmed their departure from Islamabad. Her teacher told me that they left around 4 AM because something happens in our house. Aliyan told him everything that Dua's teacher told him.

Okay, I am coming to your house with Emaan. Let's talk there. Shees declined the call and woke up Emaan.

Emaan gets up we need to go. It's an emergency. Shees patted her cheeks softly.
Emaan opened her half eyes not knowing what did Shees mean.

What emergency? She asked in stress as Shees was not acting normal.

Just wear anything and come out in 5 minutes. I am waiting for you in the car.

Emaan heart was getting heavy since last night. She felt like something bad going to happen but Shees told her not to stress over stupid things that didn't even happen.

Emaan grabbed her shawl and went out without changing her clothes.

She sat down in the car and was continuously asking Shees about them rushing towards Aliyan's house but he just told her to wait.

Shees called some people on their way to find someone for him. They reached Aliyan's house in 15 minutes.

Afaf was sitting on the couch crying like a maniac while Aliyan was on his knees and was assuring her that nothing going to happen to their children.

Emaan ran towards her in haste.
She sat near Afaf and embraced her hand.

What did you do to Afaf, Aliyan Bhai? Emaan asked in anger.

He stood up while rubbing his forehead. Aliyan didn't give Emaan any explanation and walked towards Shees without wasting any minute.

Did you get any news about Dua or Hadi? Aliyan asked in Lil hope.

Shees shooked his head left and right.

Later Shees explained the situation to Emaan which was looking at him with confusion on her face. On hearing these words "Dua is nowhere to be found along with Hadi" Emaan just fell on the ground. She lost her consciousness.

3:30 AM HILL HOTEL RESORT

Pssst! Haaadiii! Dua shook Hadi with less energy and whispered in his ear.

Hadi was in deep sleep that it took Dua 15 minutes to wake him up.

What are you doing here? The first question Hadi asked after getting normal.

Dua just laughed out nervously.

Uhm... How should I tell you this? She tried to make suspense by dragging her words.

What happen, Dua? Hadi asked with cocked up brows.

Don't get stressed you need to be mentally powerful.

Dua spit it out now or get out of my room. He said in a rude tone but Dua ignored it as she needs him out of this resort to let her plan work.

Hadi, Afaf mom is not well. I just received a call from Dad. He told us to rush back now. She spewed out all in one breath.

WHAT! What happen to mom? How can that be? I spoke to her around ten o'clock and she was fine at that time. He stood up and opened the side lamp.

Dua shouted suddenly which make him realized that he was shirtless. He put both hands over his body in a cross way to hide while Dua just ran away from the room.

Why do all men like to sleep shirtless? I just never get it. Dua touched her flushed face while saying it.

In 2 minutes Hadi was out with his backpack.

Where is your luggage? He asked in an interrogatory tone.

My friend... will take it back tomorrow with her. She spewed out while stuttering.

Hadi just nodded and walked ahead.

Did you take permission from the headteacher? On his way to the car, Hadi asked from Dua.

Of course! An evil plan was roaming in her head.

Hadi was about to open the driving seat door when Dua stopped him.

Let me drive. You just woke up. I don't want to die soon. She pushed him away a Lil and sat down in the driving seat.

Hadi didn't argue with her because he was in a hurry. He didn't know what happen to her mom.

All his life he loved 3 women dearly. One was his Mom, the second is his lil sister Noor and the third one is whose picture he kept in his wallet for the last 9 years.

Hadi tried to call Aliyan but at that time he was sleeping soundly so he didn't pick up. Hadi tried to call every person but all in vain. It was 4 in the morning.

This thing assured him that what Dua was saying right. He prayed for her mom's speedy recovery from Allah because only he can save his mom. But lil did he know that it was all Dua's plan to get out of that resort. She wanted to see the sunrise from Monal Hill.

Dua always likes to prank people like Shees. Because of her naughty and cheerful nature, she often got punishments from Emaan. But today she got overboard. The consequences of this lil prank will be very heavy for Dua.

In stress, Hadi didn't look out from the window. But he felt something strange when he read the signboard.

Monal Hill!

He looked towards Dua in rage.

Stop the car right now, Dua! He shouted.

She got startled and lose her balance over the wheel but Hadi took the car wheel in his control. She stepped on the brake and looked at him in anger.

Are you mad Hadi? We would have had an accident now.

Tell me one thing honestly. All the things you said in the hotel room "Was it all a lie?". He was trying his best not to say harsh words to her.

She gulped softly.

Listen, Hadi! Let me expl-

No buts Dua. You are literally too much. How can you drag my mom in your stupid pranks?
Hadi could see the tears in her eyes but she didn't think twice while taking his mom's name.

After 2 minute silence, she spoke up.

He didn't let her complete and stepped out of the car.

Hadi was walking back and Dua was kept apologizing.

Hadi was really in a bad mood but when after taking many steps ahead he didn't hear Dua's voice coming from behind he felt something strange.

He looked back but she was not there. Something alarmed in his mind.

"Hadi take extra care of Dua because some rival parties are trying to harm us. We didn't want our ladies to be scared that's why I want you to protect her at any cost." Aliyan's word running in his mind.

Hadi called out his name while running back to the car but she was not there. Hadi tried to call her but someone declined it. He shouted his name while looking at every possible side.

Suddenly he remember that she wanted to go to see the sunrise.

He ran towards that road when he saw Dua stomping her feet and walking towards the hill.

Hadi sighed heavily seeing her safe and sound. He ran after her but she was walking way too fast. When Hadi finally touched her shoulder, she screamed so loud that even Hadi got startled.

Ah!!!!!

Dua, it's me, Hadi. He put his hand over his ears while saying it.

Hearing Hadi name she opened her teary eyes.

She hugged him tightly without wasting a minute which he was not expecting at all.

Hadi heartbeat went wild. He pushed Dua away and gulped softly.

Dua punched his shoulder lightly.

Why the hell you are walking like a stalker? A tear drop from her eyes. Seeing her red lil nose an enticing smile appeared on Hadi face.

"She is still a baby". He thought this in his mind.

I am sorry. He asserted with a smile.

Dua looked up and sniffed like a baby.

I will only forgive you if you watch this sunrise with me. She presented a beautiful idea.

Okay, but you have to promise me one thing. His gaze deviated while saying it.

Hadi felt like it's the best atmosphere to confess but she was also the daughter of Emaan Siddique. She knows how to kill the atmosphere of love.

I promise I will do whatever you want but first, we have to rush up otherwise we will miss the best view of our life. She chimed and grabbed his hand.

Dua hauled him with her to the top.
With every step, Hadi wanted to tell her how much he loves her but he was scared of her reaction.

They watched the sunrise together and then went inside the hotel to eat breakfast.

Hadi ordered Dua's favorite things she loves when he caught sight of a boy group looking towards Dua that was sitting opposite to them.

Hadi clenched his fist to control his anger.
After the waiter served their food Hadi told Dua to exchange seats with him.

Dua sulked but seeing him angry all of a sudden she agreed in no time.

Hadi gave those boys a deadly glance which made them look away.

After eating breakfast she excused herself. She went to the washroom when one boy from that group followed Dua.

Hadi was watching this all. He went after that boy and when they reached near washrooms Hadi tapped his shoulder. He turned around and tasted the power of Hadi first.

Hadi beat him to a pulp. And went back to his seat as nothing happened. Dua returned from the restroom and told him about some guy beat up a boy brutally in front of the men's washroom.

Hadi acted surprised like he was listening to this for the first time.

It's already 8 AM. Let's head back. Hadi grabbed her hand and they walked out of the hotel.

They reached the car when some boys came running behind them.

Hadi told Dua not to come out at any cost and said that this is the promise he asked for earlier.

Dua tried to open her phone but there was no battery in it. The same case was with Hadi phone.

They had a big fight when some passersby called the police.

Hadi only got a fracture in his hand but the boy group condition was more severe.

Even policemen were shocked that he beat these 5 boys alone.

They sent Hadi and others to the hospital. 3 hours passed in giving them the proper treatment.

Hadi introduce himself and told them the whole scenario. He even called his lawyer from the hospital landline.

Danish handle this mess. We are already late. Mom and Dad would be worrying about us. He said and went towards his car along with Dua.

3;50 PM Aliyan Villa

Everyone was waiting for the doctor to come out of the room and tell them about Emaan's condition.

The doctor stepped out when Shees semi run towards him.

Doctor, how is Emaan? She is alright? Nothing to worry about, right? Shees asked so many questions and didn't let the doctor talk.

Calm down Mr. Shees and congratulations. The doctor smiled while saying it which confused him.

Afaf understood the doctor's words and smiled.

These days Emaan was feeling nauseated but she didn't know the reason. Emaan even shared her feelings with Afaf.

Afaf I don't know why these days I am eating too much. And suddenly feel like vomiting. I have talked to our doctor over the phone as I was busy because of a project but still, those medicines are not working.

This tensed Afaf.

Emaan you should go for a checkup. Don't delay it too much. Afaf gave her advice.

Nobody thought that Emaan would be pregnant.

Congratulations Mr. Shees your wife is pregnant. The doctor announced it after getting the report.

Shees couldn't believe what he just heard so do Aliyan.

Both looked at each other while Afaf in the middle was trying to suppress her laugh.

Shees felt like he just flew towards the ninth cloud. He hugged Aliyan and was jumping in happiness while Emaan was so embarrassed that she just put the quilt over her head and hide her red tomato face from her both hands.

Afaf sat next to her and started teasing her.

Emaan was tensed too because she lost her two babies before even giving them birth. When Luna kidnapped Emaan she kicked her at the wrong side that damaged so many things inside her. That's the reason Dua was born pre armature.

Shees came into the room with a big smile on his face while Emaan was avoiding him and biting her lower lip.

Afaf and Aliyan left those two love birds alone in the room because Noor came back from school.

Shees caressed Emaan's hand with lots of love.

Emaan we are going to be parents again. The doctor told me that this time you are healed properly. The baby will be safe this time so stop biting your lower lip. Or you want me to do that. Shees wiggled his brows to tease her.

Knowing what he meant Emaan slapped his shoulder lightly with her tomato-red face.

Shees hugged Emaan tightly while laughing loudly.

Shees isn't it embarrassing? We are so old. And how I will tell Dua about it? Taking Dua's name she remembered that Dua and Hadi were missing.

Shees "DUA". Emaan looked up and asked with hope.

Don't worry I will be leaving for Islamabad in 15 minutes. I stayed here because I can't leave you like this. Shees patted her silky black hair lightly.

Shees and Emaan were talking when they heard Aliyan shouting at someone.

Both of them ran outside to see Aliyan slapping Hadi and he was just standing there with his head down.

I told you to protect Dua. Where the hell is she? Will you speak or you want me to shoot you?

This was the first time for everyone to see Aliyan angry. He was a really friendly person and easy to approach. But the person who slapped Hadi looks like a different person.

Emaan stepped between and stopped Aliyan to slap him again.

Aliyan Bhai what are you doing? He is grown up. How can you slap him? Emaan asked in anger too.

Since the day Hadi was born Emaan love him like his own baby.

Ask her Emaan where is Dua? Why he is back alone? Why I am seeing a plaster on his hand?

Emaan turned around and grabbed his hand lightly. She let him sat down with her on the sofa and asked him while caressing his cheeks.

What happen to your hand, Hadi? Emaan asked strongly but only her heart knows how scared she was not seeing Dua with him.

Emaan Phopo (means aunt) dad didn't let me complete my sentence. Dua is out in the car. She was sleeping soundly so I didn't wake her up. I came inside to tell dad that we are fine. His head was down while spewing it out.

Emaan thanked Allah in her heart and smiled brightly.

A big sigh left from Shees mouth as he was scared too. Losing Dua was like losing his world. But hearing that she is safe and sound Shees turned towards Aliyan and whispered in his ear.

Be ready for a war Aliyan because Afaf will kill you tonight. Both of them looked up where Afaf was throwing daggers towards Aliyan.

He gulped softly and ask help from Shees.

Buddy, please stay here tonight with us, or else you will see your best friend's dead body tomorrow. Aliyan pleaded while Shees tried to suppress his laugh by pressing his lips in a thin line.

Okay, but on one condition. Shees grinned.

You want that London project, right. I will give you that just stay jebal ( jebal means please in Korean).

Living with Afaf he also uses Korean words.

Good boy. Shees patted his shoulder and walk towards Hadi asking about his injury.

Later when everyone was sitting in the lounge Dua told them the heroic story of Hadi fighting with that boy group. How he beat them to a pulp. Everyone was asking him the reason behind his fight when he suddenly stood up and said something which made everyone speechless.

Emaan Phopo! Shees Uncle! I want to marry Dua. Please think about it. He said it and walked towards his room without hearing their answer.

Noor rushed behind him after processing the words he just said. The juice glass from Dua's hand fell on the floor. Afaf and Emaan looked at each other and Shees And Aliyan did the same.

Shees started laughing like a maniac so do Aliyan.

Emaan and Afaf just smiled elegantly.

Shees and Aliyan gave each other a manly hug while congratulating.

Who would've thought that the bond of them will become stronger like this? Only Allah knows what HE has written for us. But one thing Emaan was sure that Allah is indeed the best and the greatest.
