In the mean, time the doctor came and checked Shees thoroughly. After that the doctor left the room with satisfaction.

All of a sudden, the room becomes silent. The air becomes tense in the room. Aliyan looked towards Shees then back to Emaan. Both were quiet.

Shees was looking blankly at the wall in front of him. While Emaan was looking at her hands which were resting on her lap.

Aliyan cleared his throat.

I can't take it anymore. You guys need to talk and clear your misunderstandings. Stop being shy. We are adults. Talk like Man-to-Man.

Oops! Sorry. Man-to-woman.
So I will leave you two lovebirds now. Bye! I will come in the morning.

Without listening to anyone, Aliyan rushed out of the room.

Damn, this was suffocating. Aliyan mumbled under his breath.

Aliyan was on his way to the car when he bumped into a girl in a corridor. All the boxes in her hand fell down.

I-I'm sorry Miss. Aliyan crouched and helped that girl in picking up boxes.

Afaf! Aliyan said in a shocked tone.

Oh! Sunbae( it's a Korean word which means "Senior") What are you doing here? Afaf said in a cheerful tone.

Well... umm I... umm came here to visit someone. Aliyan rubbed the back of his head nervously.

Yes. I am here for my internship. Afaf said it with a smile.

Ok, that's good. I am lil busy right now, let's catch up later. Aliyan said nervously.

Oh yes. Aliyan took Afaf's cell phone and dialed his number.

Here. He gave back her cell phone and rushed out.

Aliyan sat in the car with a sigh. He looked towards his palms.

Stop sweating man. He talked to himself.

What am I going to do now? I should've talked to her a lil more. I am so stupid. And I didn't get her number, just gave her mine. What if she didn't call me back?

Aliyan put his head on the steering wheel.

I am screwed.

After ranting a lot to himself, Aliyan started the engine of the car and drove his car towards his house.

Both shouted together but Aliyan left the room. Shees looked towards Emaan with a nervous smile.

He is lil dramatic. Please don't mind him. Shees said with a nervous smile.

Emaan mustered up all her courage and walked towards Shees's bed. Shees got scared seeing Emaan coming towards his direction. Emaan sat down on the stool and said,

"I don't think Aliyan said something wrong we..

Shees cut her in the middle excitedly.

So we are a couple now. Shees said it gleefully.

Wait! No. Why do you think that? Emaan said in a shocked tone.

Because Aliyan said he would leave the lovebirds means you and me, and discuss our misunderstandings.

Emaan rolled her eyes in annoyance. Here we go again. She wondered why this guy never listens to her and jumps to conclusions. Why does he always focus on those words which he wanted to hear.

No! I was talking about the misunderstanding part. Emaan clarified.

Shees mumbled to himself while making a pout.

Shees looks like a weirdo to Emaan.

Shees are you alright? Should I call the doctor? Emaan said in a concerned tone.

Emaan's eyes widened and when Shees looked towards Emaan he soon realised his mistake.

I mean, I am okay. We should resolve it now otherwise the next day it will be awkward for both of us.

Shees come into your senses. Stop ruining your image in front of Emaan. She must think of you as a despo.

He thought these words in his mind while a fake smile was plastered on his face.

I will stay with you until your wounds get healed. If I don't do this, I will always feel bad. You got hurt because of me. Emaan said it while keeping her head down.

Listen! Emaan I didn't get hurt because of you. It was my choice to push you away at that time. So don't blame yourself. But if you want to see me healthy again, then pleasure will be mine to have you in my house. Shees said it with an alluring smile.

Emaan looked up with teary eyes.
Don't cry Emaan, I am still alive. Shees said in a teasing tone.

Emaan slapped his hand but when he groaned she felt bad again for hitting him.

Emaan didn't say anything for a while and was biting the corner of her lower lip nervously.

Don't think too much Emmy just say it. He said with a smile.

Shees I know it's not the right time to ask, but... Umm...

Go ahead Emaan. You don't need to be cautious with me.

Again Shees cut her off in the middle and said,

Shees said it casually like it's normal for him.

Emaan eyes widened.

Ah ah its paining. Shees groan and grabbed his right shoulder. He acted like it was hurting.

What happen Shees? Are you feeling pain anywhere? Let me call the doctor. Emaan was about to run when Shees grabbed her hand.

Don't bother them. They need to rest as well. I think if I rest for a while I will be alright. Shees said with a nervous laugh.

Are you sure? Emaan asked again.

Yes, I am pretty sure. Just give me your hand and stay with me until I fall asleep.

Shees lay down and intertwined his fingers with Emaan's hand. He closes his eyes instantly. Emaan was flabbergasted by his actions.

Emmy! It's hurting. And you said you will help me in recovering. Don't go back from your words.

Shees said it with close eyes.

Emaan looked around to make sure no one saw it. A smile crept on her lips.

Dork. She mumble to herself.

The next morning when Shees woke up, he saw Emaan's face near to his. He couldn't believe she was this close to his face.

Emaan slept in a sitting position because Shees didn't let go of her hand. She didn't know when she fell asleep, maybe because she was dead tired from all the drama that happened yesterday.

Shees was staring Emaan's face with love. He tucked a piece of her hair behind her ear because it was coming in front of his view.

Shees looked from her forehead to her eyes, then lashes, nose, cheeks and in the end her lips. Her pink tint lips.

Something came in his mind and a corner of his lip turned up. But he came back into senses.

No Shees! Emaan is not like other girls.

But he didn't know when he brought his hand near her lips and caressed the side of it.

At that moment Emaan slowly opened her eyes. She felt someone's hand.

When she saw Shees face close to her, she jumped from her seat. He got startled as well.

What were you trying to do Shees? She asked furiously.

Shees gulped softly.

I-I didn't do anything. I was startled to see such a sight in the morning as well.

Shees make funny faces only to deceive Emaan but only he knew how happy he was at that time. He continued.

Your dry lips. Eww! You should apply some lip balm girl, you really need that. I can lend you mine or should I recommend some you? I wonder who would want to kiss....

Emaan's hand went up to her lips and right here he bit his tongue. He knew he made a big mistake. Shees looked towards Emaan, who was fuming with anger.

Shees raised his hands immediately.

Shees closed his eyes while saying it. When he heard nothing, he looked from the corner of his eye.

Shees! Do you know I went to take self-defence lessons? She said it with a fake smile.

You better stay in your boundaries otherwise you know what will happen.

Shees remembered reading that on the report which that special investigator gave him. Shees gulped his saliva.

I won't do it again, I swear. Shees said it with a nervous smile.

You better stand on your words. Emaan said it with a tinge of anger in her tone.

Shees nodded and Emaan went to the bathroom.

Aliyan stepped into the room and saw Shees grabbing his hair. He came near to Shees with a confused face.

It's rare to see such a sight of my buddy. Did Emaan beat you to the pulp that you can't show your face now?

Aliyan chuckled at his own words.

Buddy! I really deserve beating. Why is my stupid mouth out of control? I mess up a big time. Shees said in a serious tone.

Aliyan got a lil tense as he knew how his friend. Sometimes he talks without a thought.

Where is Emaan? And what did you do now? Aliyan sat on the stool while saying it.

Shees told him all the story. Aliyan was trying his best to control his laugh all the while but when he heard about the kiss topic he burst out.

I'm sorry buddy, I didn't mean to laugh but did you actually say that? I can't believe this. You really deserve beating. It's a miracle to see you in one piece. Aliyan said it while laughing.

Stop laughing! I know I did something stupid but now you are putting salt on my wound. Ugh! I always wanted to show her my cool side but I ended up showing her my dumb side. I mean, I have dated many girls but it never happened. Shees said it while sulking.

Right at that moment Emaan came out of the bathroom.

Shees Aliyan both froze.

Was Emaan here all the time? Aliyan asked Shees through eye gesture.

Shees gave Aliyan I-am-the-most-stupid-person-in-this-world look.

Aliyan shook his head in disbelief. He thought where that genius Shees gone.

ASLAM-O-ALAIKUM Aliyan! How are you? Emaan asked casually like she didn't hear a thing and was ignoring Shees like no one was there.

WALAIKUM-ASLAM Emaan! I'm good. How did your night go? Was it comfortable? Aliyan said it to tease Shees.

He glared towards Aliyan.

It was not bad. Aliyan, i am a bit hungry. Can you tell me where is the cafeteria? Emaan changed the topic immediately.

Take left from the end of the corridor and walk straight till the end. You will find cafeteria there. Aliyan said it with a smile.

Emaan was on the door when she turned and called Aliyan.

Uhm.. Aliyan can you lend me some money? Because of an idiot I lost my things. Emaan glaree towards Shees.

Oh! Yeah sure, but you have to give it back with interest. You know that being a business man is a tough job.

Emaan giggled on his act.

Yeah! Yeah! Sure.

She took the credit card and went outside.
