Shees ran after her because he knew that Emaan didn't know anyone here. She doesn't have phone or money.

Emaan! Emaan!

Shees shouted her name loudly. He looked around but couldn't find her.

His eyes widened when he saw a crowd in the middle of the road. Shees rushed there. With each step, his heart sank down.

When he reached near, he saw that two people were fighting because one of them hit another man's car accidentally.

A sigh left from his mouth. Shees looked around and saw a 5.5 ft girl stomped her feet and was walking fiercely towards the bus stop.

Shees ran towards her as fast as he could.

While Emaan's mind went blank. She didn't know where to go. If she had her phone, she would surely get help. She stopped in the middle of the road. Emaan couldn't able to hear people around her. Her head felt dizzy from all the thoughts. At that time, a car was coming towards her direction at full speed.

When Shees saw it, he ran quickly.

Emaan run! Emaan run!

Shees shouted from all his might. Emaan looked back blankly and then to her right side.

Both of her hands went up to her eyes in a crossed way.

When the car was close enough, Shees pushed Emaan and came in front of the car.

The car threw him away and didn't stop.

Emaan fell on the footpath. People started to gather around Emaan and Shees.

Emaan checked herself while touching her body. She thought about how she could be fine. She opened her eyes quickly and one word left from her mouth.

Shees!

When she looked towards the crowd she ran towards it. Shees was there lying down covered with blood.

Emaan heart sank down on this view. She bent down hurriedly and took his hand.

Shees! Shees! Wake up. Don't close your eyes. Stay with me. Don't close your eyes. You will be fine. Just don't shut your eyes. Please don't leave me.

Emaan said in a panicking state while crying loud.

Shees smiled and tried to open his eyes wide as he could, but the blood that was flowing from his head won't let him do. Shees caressed Emaan's cheek slowly and said:

"I-I am sorry Emaan... and I-I lo....."

He left the sentence in the middle as he closed his eyes.

No! No! Don't please. Someone call 911. Call 911. Emaan shouted.

Exactly after 10 mins, an ambulance came which brought Shees to the nearest hospital.

Emaan didn't leave his hand until they reached out of the operation room.

The door opened and they brought Shees into it. A red light bulb flashed up on the door.

Emaan fell on the bench like someone drew out her soul from her body. Shees blood was all over on her cloths and hands.

She never thought she would go through this type of trauma in her life. She grabbed her head with both of her hands. She was all alone in that corridor. Emaan closed her eyes and a warm water started cascading to her cheeks.

After a while, a doctor came out of the operation room. Emaan ran towards him.

How is Shees doctor? Can I meet him? Tell me doctor, how he is? Why are you not saying anything? Emaan shouted.

Sorry Miss! We could not able to save him. He bled to much that he went into cardiac arrest. I'm sorry again.

The doctor said and left her there.

The body of Shees was coming out of the operation theatre.

NO, that can't be possible. NO.......

Suddenly Emaan woke up. There were drops of sweat on her forehead.
She looked towards the door instantly. The red bulb was still on.

Tears started to come out of her eyes.

"Please don't die Shees. I have lots of things to tell you. Please don't die".

2 hours have passed but still no doctor has come out. Suddenly Emaan heard a familiar voice.

Emaan! Emaan!

The boy ran towards her but Emaan stayed there without moving .

How did this happen Emaan? How? Emaan! Answer me, God damn it.

The boy pushed back his hair in frustration.

Emaan looked up blankly and the tears started cascading from eyes down to her cheeks.

The boy got down on his knees and took her one hand in his embrace.

I'm sorry Emaan. I didn't mean to hurt you. I am really sorry. Look, Emaan you need to calm down yourself. We need to calm ourselves down. Shees will be alright. He will be fine. Don't worry. Everything will be alright.

The boy tried to console Emaan, which looked more like he was consoling himself.

Aliyan! He pushed me away and came in front of that car. I was going to get that hit, but he took it. Right here! In my hands he closed his eyes. I told him, "You will be fine". Just stay with me but he didn't listen. He was telling me something but suddenly he closed his mouth. He asked for forgiveness. But I wouldn't able to tell him that I forgive him already.

In the last line she broke into tears again.

Aliyan sat near and patted her head lightly.

For a while they sat in that position.

Suddenly Emaan got up, which startled Aliyan.

How can I forget about it? Yes! Finally I got the way to save Shees. Aliyan, I got the way. Can you find a piece of clothe for me? 2 meters long would be enough. Hurry! Just go and get it for me.

Emaan looked like an abnormal person to Aliyan. But he still got up and went to buy clothe without asking any question.

When Aliyan came back, Emaan was standing there wearing a scarf on her head like a hijab. Her face was wet.
Aliyan gave her the clothe with a confused face.

Emaan spread the piece of clothe in the form of musalah and started to pray. Emaan put her hands up for dua.

"YA ALLAH! YOU always listen to me and help me. YOU always protect me. Today I came for someone else ALLAH PAK. Today I came for YOU to protect someone. Do not let me go empty-handed. Only YOU can save him. Just give him back his life. I have no one else except YOU. Please save him. Have mercy on him. I won't be able to live peacefully if something happens to him.

Emaan cried silently while asking another life for Shees.

When Aliyan saw Emaan praying for Shees, a tear broke out of his eyes.

Now he understood why she said that she could be able to save Shees.

Because she was asking directly from ALLAH. WHO can do anything just by saying

                          " کن فیکون "

( Kun Fayakun comes from arabic words "Kun(كن)" which means "to be" or "to exist" and "fayakun (فيكون)" which means "it is" .So its literal meaning is "Be ,and it is".)

And there is a saying in Qur'an:
"His command is only when He intends a thing that He says to it, "Be," and it is.* (Surah Ya'Sin, Ayat 82)

After another 2 hours have passed, the door of the operation room opened. Emaan stood up and ran towards the doctor. Aliyan did the same.
How is Shees doctor?

Both said it together. The Doctor gave them a professional smile and said calmly.

The operation is successful but we need to put him under observation for the next 24 hours. We lost him in the middle but suddenly his heart beat came back. I must say it's rare to see such cases.

Emaan felt relieved and thanked ALLAH in her heart.

After that, the doctor told Aliyan to come and meet him in the office.

Aliyan nodded and told Emaan to stay with Shees until he came back.

Emaan walked towards the stretcher where Shees was lying down. She recited Ayat-ul-kursi on him and went with him to his VVIP room.

When the ward boys settled down Shees in his bed, they left the room. It was Emaan and Shees all alone in that room.

Emaan sat on a stool near Shees's bed. She grabbed his hand and said.

"I am sorry Shees.  You are in this state because of me. If something happen to you... I-I....."

Just imagining that she couldn't complete the sentence.

She reminisced the old Shees, happy and cheeky. But now the Shees on the bed looked like a pale body which could not move on its own and stuck with machines.

Emaan felt like her heart aches.
At that time Aliyan came into the room. Emaan wiped out her tears instantly.

Don't worry Emaan, he'll be fine. I just talked to the doctor. He said Shees will wake up in a few hours.

Aliyan gave her a smile to ease her up.

Did you eat anything? Let me get you a cup of coffee. You look pale. If Shees see you in this state he will surely kill me right here and now.

Aliyan looked at Shees and water started to be filled in his eyes. Aliyan rushed out of the room because he couldn't able to see his friend in this state.

After a while Aliyan came with sandwiches, Americano and two Lattes.

Emaan was stable now as well.

Aliyan put the things on the table and sat opposite Emaan.

They ate all the things in silence when Aliyan spoke up while drinking Americano.

Ewwww. How can one drink this?

Aliyan put that cup on the table hurriedly and took out a cookie roll from his coat pocket. He ate it without delay.

Emaan giggled.

If you can't drink it then why did you buy it?

I was always curious why Shees always drank this black liquid. But I swear this is my first and the last time.

Aliyan made funny faces while saying it. Emaan chuckled.

After that Aliyan went out and called his people to find out who the car owner was.

They have been searching everywhere but still there was no clue.

10 hours passed but Shees didn't wake up. Aliyan started to get worried as the doctor told him that if he didn't wake up in the next 24 hours he might go into the coma or will lose his memories as he already had an accident history.

Aliyan didn't tell Emaan because she didn't look that well.

Aliyan wanted a distraction so he called out Emaan's name.

Emaan come here. Let me show you something. But you need to make a promise with me. You won't tell Shees that I showed you these pictures.

Emaan nodded with a weary smile and walked towards the sofa.

They both laughed while watching Shees weird pics. Suddenly they heard a voice.

I think some people are being loud here. Let me tell you guys again there is a patient lying here.

Aliyan and Emaan both turned their faces.

Emaan couldn't move while Aliyan ran towards him.

Buddy! Aliyan gave him a tight hug.

Aliyan, I know you miss me but buddy it's painful right here. Shees pointed towards his shoulder.

Shees looked towards Emaan and gave her a nervous smile.
