Emaan was working on a project for her company. They were planning the marriage of a Royal family in London. She was looking at a combination of flowers in her handmade journal. She was confused in between something classic or trending OR colorful or neutral.

Emaan remembered when she met Lizzy for the first time, her personality was the sweetest. The way she talked, the way she sat all looked so elegant. Whereas her groom Jeff was a well built and a rigid man, but whenever he talked to her, Jeff became so polite. Like his personality totally changes with Lizzy.

Putting both of their personality in front of her, Emaan thought French tulips would look good.

After deciding how to do the decoration thing, she called her P.A and discuss some matters regarding it. Then Emaan called Lizzy to apologize as she would not be able to attend the wedding because she would be busy around that time.

After the call ended, she opened the window to get some fresh air. But a cold wind slapped her face. Emaan stood there without moving an inch. She didn't know why, but today this cold air made her feel alive again.

These past few days were exhausting for her. Emaan felt like she was in a cage. The Daniyal family was very bossy. Emaan thought that his parents might be different but now she came to know that Daniyal got his split personality from his parents. Sometimes they were sweet and sometimes they were sour.

Emaan then compared Daniyal and Shees.
"Daniyal is all about sweet talk.
But he was jealous of Shees. The way Daniyal was exaggerating their so-no-called friendship in front of him says it all. She remembered when Shees told him about his company. The way his jaw dropped was so funny".

"Whereas Shees, he was a straightforward guy. Talk to the point and delusional that every girl would fall for him. He was really rude and arrogant in the start which scared me a lil, but I noticed that there was something in that chocolate eyes Pain, Sorrow or maybe Love, I didn't know. But that shiny sparkling part told a deepest secret".

Suddenly a strong cold wind came into her room which made her shiver and brought her back to reality.

Wait....Why was I thinking about Shees? And why would I compare Daniyal with him?
Ugh.....! I think I am going crazy. I need to keep my focus straight. Tomorrow is my engagement, I should sleep earlier.

Emaan mumbled to herself and went towards her bed to sleep.

Aliyan could feel the silence from Shees side, which was quite disturbing.

Today is Emaan's engagement but Shees was not doing anything. This would be least he expected from Shees. He knew Shees.

Mr Shees! (Aliyan called Shees as Mr Shees whenever Aliyan felt hurt that he didn't share his secret with him) mind to tell me what is going on in your little mind? I could smell something cooking up there. Aliyan said it while pointing towards his head and tried to make eye contact with Shees but he avoided it.

Nothing buddy, you are just overthinking.

I'm not overthinking Shees you are hiding something from me. I could feel it. Now tell me what's wrong? Why are you trying to send me away? Are you going to do something bad again?Aliyan was concerned.

Shees stood up and walked towards his glass wall.

"Even if I'm going to do something, that's my mess. I don't want to drag you in it". Shees said in a serious tone.

Shees stood there silently.

Aliyan could feel that Shees was arranging his words.

Aliyan just gave him a tight hug and the tears started cascading from Shees eyes.

The last line he said in a defeated tone.

I did, but I messed up in the end. Shees was now looking at his shoes.

What did you do? Aliyan was a lil concerned because he knew Shees temper.

I.... I told her I would make her mine by hook or by crook. When she rejected me, I just couldn't think straight and I blurted out without a thought. I tried my best to be sincere but there is a saying:

"You can't turn a 'No' to a 'Yes' without a maybe in between".

I want her by my side but I don't won't to hurt her. I don't know when she become so precious to me.

Shees paused for a while and said:
"And I was not sending you away. I just don't want you to see me miserable again".

All this while Aliyan was thinking about something. He suddenly gleefully yawped.

"Let's do that". Aliyan said with a smirk.

Shees looked at Aliyan in disbelief. He was least expecting this from Aliyan.

"Don't look at me like that. I'm saying this all for you. I can't see you crying your heart out here without telling Emaan your sincere feelings".

Shees thought about why this idea didn't come to his mind. His face was beaming again.

So tell me how we will do that? Shees said with a tooth smile.

I haven't thought that far yet. Aliyan said with a nervous smile.

Shees knew that his first impression on Emaan was really bad but there is saying:

"Don't judge a book by its cover"

They started to make plans on "How to capture Emaan's heart?"

Emaan woke up late and missed her Fajr prayer. It was first time in her life that she missed it.

"Wow.. Great! Now my whole day will be awful".

Emaan pushed her hair back in frustration and put the clock back on the side table.

She came down after shower to eat breakfast and wanted to whine about not waking her up early.

How's my lil princess? Mr Siddique said with a smile.

I'm good baba. Emaan said in a very low tone.

But you don't look so good to me. What happened? Are you not happy with this engagement?

No baba! It's not about engagement. I missed my fajr prayer. Nobody wakes me up. Today is an important day but the start is already bad. Emaan still kept her head down.

Oh! That's bad. I thought you already offered your fajr salah. If I knew about it I would've woken you up. But don't worry in Dhuhar salah ask for forgiveness from Allah. Mr Siddique patted Emaan's head lightly with love.

And one more thing I forgot to tell you Daniyal is planning a vacation in Italy. He told me that he recently bought a penthouse there. What do you think? Should I say YES to it?

Whatever you say baba. I have been busy these days so I can't go. Emaan said in a low voice.

We will be staying there for a week. Shop your heart out and eat new food there. You know Milan is known for its high-end restaurants and shops. Are you sure you're not coming with us? Mr Siddique said with a teasing smile.

Her father and she talked for a while and after she ate breakfast she headedto the saloon which obviously Mrs Abdullah booked for her.

Around 5 o clock she was ready. Emaan looked heavenly beautiful in that white and golden sparkling lace gown. The light curls in her straight black hair and a lil bit of make-up made her white skin gleamed more. Each and everything was on the point. Everyone around Emaan was mesmerized by her beauty.

Ma'am your driver is outside. A staff member came and told Emaan. Emaan went towards the main door.

They reached the farmhouse around Magrib Salah. Emaan went to the room which was opened specially for her.

She offered her salah and raised her hands up for dua.

" Ya ALLAH! I don't know what you have planned for me. They say, YOU are very near to us. In fact, YOU are in our hearts. I can hide my feelings from everyone but not from YOU. I am doing this engagement only for my parents happiness. But the strange feeling I have for Daniyal is making me anxious. You know I have a strong belief that YOU will always protect me. Just make everything clear for me. Show me the right path".

"And whoever puts his trust in Allah, then HE will suffice him".

After dua she felt a sigh of relief because Emaan believed in what she prayed for.

She folded the musalah and went for a touch-up.

ASALAM-O-ALAIKUM! Emaan, how are you? Aliyan said with a smile.

Emaan became tense when she saw Aliyan.

WALAIKUM-ASLAM! I'm good, wbu? Emaan tried to smile while saying it.

I'm good as usual. Well, you look so pretty. I hope you have a blessed life ahead. Aliyan said it sincerely.

Emaan didn't know how to ask about Shees but she mustered up all her courage and finally asked him.

Where is Shees? He didn't come with you?

He is out of the country now. He already told Mr. Siddique about it.

Emaan forgot about Aliyan presence and a sigh left from her mouth.

Aliyan smirked and was about to say something when Emaan's mother came with Daniyal's mother.

Who is this boy? Daniyal mother asked in a lil investigatory tone.

He is Emaan's friend. Emaan's mother told her.

Beta( son ) go outside and enjoy the party. In our family, it's a tradition that no boy can see the ride before engagement. Daniyal's mother uttered rudely.

Okay Emaan, I'll talk to you later. Aliyan swiveled over and ambled to the door.

Emaan didn't like the way Daniyal's mother ordered Aliyan to leave her room. Even though he is not that close friend of hers, but that tone irked her a lot.

She sat near Emaan and took out a box from her purse.

She gave that box to Emaan's mother and both gave her loads of blessings and went outside the room.

Emaan was feeling exhausted so she went to the terrace to get some air. When she came near to the door she heard a manly voice shouting at someone.

She was startled and was about to turn back when she heard that man voice was taking her name.

"EMAAN EMAAN EMAAN! Look Aleena, you know I love you. You know I'm doing all this drama with Emaan so that we can grow up with our son without any hardships. We are on the edge of bankruptcy. I won't be able to support you and my son in the future. Just be patient. I will divorce her after I get all her money".

Emaan was shocked. She felt numb and couldn't move for a few moments.

What she heard was something she didn't expect from Daniyal.

He was married already then what was with me......

Emaan mumbled to herself.
