A year later...

I was woke up in my new apartment in Los Angeles.

I missed my old apartment that I used to share with Greg.

I missed waking up to him in the morning.

Cuddling up to him.

Seeing his sleeping face.

I just miss him in general.

It's been one year since shit got real at Pax.

I've been trying to live life like a normal person who was trying to get over her ex-boyfriend.

But it hasn't been going good so far.

My friends have been taking me to bars to meet men.

They've sent me on blind dates.

They even asked a guy to go over and talk to me and try a one night stand on me.

Didn't work out, so they gave up.

Apparently I built walls that not even my friends can get by.

The Crew had stopped talking to me a month after Greg and I broke up.

One by one they just stopped responding to my text.

They stopped Skyping me.

They stopped playing with me.

I think it's the "bros before hoes" policy that's stopping them from talking to me.

I miss them.

They're happy vibe I got every time I talked to them.

I hate not playing with them.

*buzz*

My phone went off and I was too lazy to see who it was.

*buzz*

I let it buzz.

*buzz*

*buzz*

*buzz*

I grabbed my phone off my night stand and looked at who keeps texting me.

The tiny shred of hope was gone when I saw the name Evan pop up on my screen instead of the name of a Crew member.

I checked what Evan just sent me.

Evan:

You gonna get on GTA or what?

I sighed and slowly replied.

Ally:

I'll be on in an hour.

I got outta bed and walked towards the bathroom.

There I brushed my teeth and washed my face.

I walked out grabbed a set of clothes outta my drawer.

I grabbed the blue Adidas sweater I stole from Greg and a pair of ripped skinny jeans.

I brushed out my hair and put on socks.

I walked over to my set up and turned on my computer.

I logged into Skype and GTA.

I was gonna join the Skype call with Evan and the others when someone called me.

I answered it without looking, "Hold on a minute. Gotta plug in my head phones."

I put the headphones on and plugged them into my speakers.

I checked my mic settings.

I finally looked at who I was in a Skype call with.

I saw a face I've been dying to see since a year ago.

He was wearing his Minecraft head we got for being Minecraft YouTubers.

My eyes began to water.

"Hey..." I said softly.

"Hey."

He took off the Minecraft head.

"How have you been?" I asked.

I was about to burst into tears when Greg spoke up.

"I don't know why I called you. I honestly thought I could do this. I miss you Ally." Greg said.

I sniffled and smiled at him.

"I miss you too."

"This past year has been the hardest without you... Listen I'm gonna be in L.A. for a week or so. Do you wanna meet up some time soon?" Greg asked me.

"I would love too." I told Greg.

"Well, Sides calling me I have to go."

"Bye." I went to go hang up, but Greg stopped me.

"Ally?"

"Greg."

"I love you..." He said.

Before I could respond I was met with a call ended screen.

I took a deep breath and released the hounds.

One after another tears streamed down my face.

I grabbed my phone and texted Evan that I couldn't get on GTA with him.

I rushed over to my bed and cried into my pillow.

I'm so done with this...
-
"So you can't get on GTA with us because..." Evan was Skype calling me during my whole panic attack.

I was up and down my room trying to get the prefect outfit for my meet up with Greg.

I didn't want to look too dressed up.

But I didn't want to look too casual.

I sound like a total complete idiot right now.

"I'm meeting someone." I told Evan.

I hadn't told anyone that I was gonna see Greg again.

I was detrimened to keep this a secret.

"Where are you going then?" Evan asked.

"To the mall. Then we're gonna get a bite to eat." I told Evan.

"Who's this mystery person you're meeting?"

"Why are you asking so many questions?"

"Just asking, gosh..." Evan looked down at his lap.

"Sorry." I mumbled.

I walked away from the computer and put on my clothes.

I threw on a random black sleeve, my red and black flannel, and a pair of light wash jeans.

I grabbed my black and white vans and walked back to my computer.

"I know Greg is in town and he's visiting you." Evan said as soon as I sat down.

"I have no idea what you're talking about."

"Stop lying. Just get on GTA and ditch him." Evan told me.

"No. I won't." I left the call.
-
It was 12:00 and I still hasn't reached the mall.

I was stuck in traffic with my uber driver.

He hasn't said a word and was wearing a black hoddie that covered his face.

We reached the mall and the mystery person found a spot to park in.

"How much?" I asked.

The person didn't say anything.

"Umm, excuse me?" I tapped the person on the shoulder.

He didn't budge.

"If you're not gonna say anything I'm just gonna leave a twenty." I told the person.

I ruffled through my wallet to find a twenty dollar bill.

The person sighed and looked at me, "Sorry Ally. I just had to pretend to be an Uber driver."

"You gotta be fucking kidding me. Evan?" I said.

"Ally." Evan said.

"I'm getting out." I said.

"No you're not." Evan locked the doors as I got out.

"Damn it." Evan got out with me and followed me.

"You're making a huge mistake." Evan told me.

"Doubt that." I walked a little faster.

"You need to move on. It's been a fucking year already." Evan told me.

"Yeah, it's been a year since you came into my life and destroyed my fucking relationship. Do you know how much he made me happy? My life has been so shitty and when he came in, life got better. But thanks to Evan fucking Fong, my relationship and happiness is no longer a thing." I told Evan.

"I'm sorry. I wasn't thinking..."

"Exactly! You weren't thinking." I walked a little bit faster.

Evan walked a little bit faster as well.

"Why are you still here?" I asked Evan.

"To stop you from seeing something that you don't want to see." Evan told me.

We reached the front entrance and there he was.

Standing in front of the mall.

My heart beated faster.

I was getting ready to walk over there, till I saw someone approach Greg.

She had two sodas in her hand and was very tall and skinny.

She had blonde hair and green eyes.

She handed Greg on of the sodas and he thanked her and kissed her.

I felt like someone ripped out my heart and put a knife through it.

Evan grabbed my arm and took me to a secluded spot.

There he sat me down on a bench and wrapped an arm around me.

"Was that the thing you didn't want me to see?" I asked him.

Tears were threatening my eyes.

"Yeah." Evan said softly.

I looked up at the sky and smiled as I cried.

"I'm such a fucking idiot for thinking I can get back with him." I laughed.

"You're not an idiot."

"Yes I fucking am." I told him.

I got up and began to walk away.

I felt something grab my arm and pull me back.

I was met with a warm embrace.

I looked into Evans eyes and he looked into mine.

His chocolate brown eyes were beautiful.

I felt my face turn red.

"Evan..." I said softly.

I pushed him away and began to walk back to the parking lot, till I remembered something.

I stopped and walk back towards Evan.

"You're my ride..." I told Evan.

He looked up and walked towards the parking lot.

I followed him closely.
-
The whole car ride home was filled with silence.

Evan parked the car in the garage that my lovely apartment building provide for us.

He locked the doors and looked at me.

I quickly unlocked my door and got out.

Evan got out as well and chased after me.

Since I used to run track in high school I was able to out run Evan.

But that didn't stop him.

When I got in the elevator and quickly pressed the close door button, he already put his foot to stop the door from closing.

He got in and was gonna say something when I pressed the next floor button.

When it opened I pressed all the buttons on the elevator and quickly got out.

Evan tried to get out too, but that failed.

The doors closed on him and I quickly ran to the floor where my apartment was on.

I unlocked the door and was getting ready to throw myself on the floor, but I saw a familiar Asian guy chilling on my couch.

"You really shouldn't have a spare key under your welcome mat." Evan told me.

"Get out." I told him.

"Not till we talk." Evan said.

"We just talked, now get out." I pointed at the door that lead to the outside world.

"Ally, c'mon." Evan begged.

I rolled my eyes at him.

"If I have to say it one more time I will rip your head off and ship it to your mother." I told him.

"Harsh..." Evan mumbled.

I throw myself on the couch next to Evan.

"Can we talk about it?" Evan asked me.

"Fine." I told him.

"I've like you for awhile know and I think we should..."

"We shouldn't. I have no interest in dating again and you know that. I just got my heart broken, again. I'm sorry." I told him.

Evan got up and walked over to where I was laying down.

He stood over me and looked into my crystal blue eyes.

"I-"

"No you don't. Don't even try. Evan just go away." I told him.

Evan looked at me.

He bent down and kissed me on the forehead and left.

I felt my face turn red as he kissed my forehead.

Evan left my apartment and locked the door behind me.

I realized that he still had my key.

"That's gonna make for one good conversation."
