Killua was sitting on a curb, waiting for his car to arrive. He didn't have much, as he didn't need much. Just the painting of Alluka, his backpack, a suitcase filled with clothes, a few bags of sweets, another suitcase that had some weapons in it, a makeup kit, and some more clothes. Just the necessities, not too much.

A black car pulled up and he glanced up. The window rolled down, and there was an older woman with grey hair and blue eyes. She wore a pale periwinkle coat with an exaggerated collar, she seemed to be very tall and was a bit too attractive for her age. "You must be Killua" she said, with a kind smile. Oh great, it's an old lady. He internally grumbled. Killua didn't get along with older women for some odd reason.

He stood up. "Yeah. I assume you're the one going by 'M. Weems?' " She nodded. "Yes, the name's Malissa Weems, ever so pleased to meet you" Killua started packing up his things and placing them in the back of the car. "So" Malissa said conversationally. "What are you looking forward to at Nevermore Academy?" Killua let out a sigh, buckling his seatbelt. "Graduating and getting a degree" he said, honestly.

Malissa blinked. "Not the activities? Or meeting more of your kind?" Killua paused for a moment. My...kind? What's that supposed to mean? Melissa noticed his pause, and continued.

"For over 200 years we have welcomed outcasts of all kinds. From werewolves to vampires to psychics to sirens to gorgons and more-" Killua listened to her rattle off, and felt a bit offended. She sent me to a school for freaks? Although... Maybe school will be less boring for once. He thought.

Killua only half listened as Malissa as the car started up and they were on their way to the academy, the car ride was long and boring. There really wasn't much to do other than listen to his driver, which made him wonder. Who exactly is Malissa Weems? Most likely a faculty member at Nevermore Academy. Man I hope I don't have to share a dorm, I'd love a room to myself. Killua had been living pretty much on the streets for the past 3 months. Mostly crashing in alleyways and on top of buildings. He didn't really need a home, although one would be nice. A room to himself would be amazing. "We're here!" Killua blinked, then glanced out the window

Killua was slightly taken aback by the size of the building. That's not a school that's a damn castle-

"Welcome, to Nevermore"

Malissa had given him a room number, then went on her way, leaving him to navigate the school on his own. The halls were bustling with activity when he got there, and he had to do a double take for a moment thinking he hallucinated. That person doesn't have a face- what the- As he started on his way up the floors he kept his eye out for abnormalities. Sunglasses indoors? I wonder what kind of creature they are Those rowdy kids, they seem like werewolves. Why are those guys wearing the same necklace? He took note of several other features, storing the information and theories

He got to his room then opened the door, as he did there was a voice. "Learn to knock!" Killua blinked, the first thing he noticed, was that the stain glass window was...half colored? And- oh dear god-

It was so...colorful. There was a tall blonde girl with blue eyes and rainbow colored nails. "Who are you and why are you in my dorm-?" she said, confused. Killua sighed. "I'm your new roommate" The girl thought for a moment, then her eyes shined. "Oh yay!" she ran over and held her hand out. "The name's Enid, nice to meet you!" Killua looked at her hand, then slipped his own in his pockets. "Killua" he said. Enid blinked, then sighed and drew her hand back. "I see, you're not an affectionate type are you" she said. "Oh really? How could you tell?" he said sarcastically.

Killua didn't want to socialize, but Enid had other plans. She managed to keep him wrapped in a conversation for far longer than he would've liked. Killua glanced around, then noticed that half of the room was completely bare. "I'm guessing this side is mine?" He asked, interrupting her rant about her last roommate, who was apparently a psychopath. Not that I'm any better- I'm probably worse actually. He mused. Enid paused, "Hm? Oh, yeah. By the way where's your stuff? I could help bring it in!"

Killua ended up taking her up on her offer, and they managed to do it in just one trip. Enid was surprisingly strong. Oh right, their all 'outcasts' I wonder what kind she is? He thought, starting to unpack his things and place it on shelves. Enid just kind of...stood there, watching him. He tried his best to ignore her. "Hey, Killua was it?" Killua glanced at her over his shoulder. "Hm?" Enid seemed to be deep in thought for a moment. "What kind of outcast are you?"
