But I'd be robbing you of the experience. I can't think of a worse thing to do to you faithful readers.

But here's the thing.

I have to tell you the backstory before I can tell you the actual story.

You ready? It's a doozy.

Once upon a time....

Actually....

Nineteen years ago, in 2005, the world collapsed. The world fell into the lives of royalty.

Those who had money, were made royal. Those who weren't, well... We were left to defend ourselves and each other.

Royalty turned those with cold hearts even colder, as they closed their borders and turned their backs.

After that, those who had warm hearts were forced to turn cold, as they were forced to fend for themselves and their families.

Crossing the borders meant having to ask both royal families, and violating that meant your life.

To many, this was a result of a government going wrong; but to a lot of us, it meant a brand new way of living.

We're scared. We're worried. We're trying to survive.

We are done trying.

This story is going to follow a lonely girl who didn't realize how important she is to her society.

This.... This is the end of tyranny and royalty.
