• This is not going to be like my other plots in this plot shop because there will be no summary, quotes, about section etc. And this is because this plot is basically multiple plots in one. If you have seen Mike Flanagan's shows on Netflix, you'll understand.

• You can split this plot into different books according to the series's or you can put it all into one book and have a series per act, I don't mind.

• If you have any questions, please don't be afraid to ask. But I'm gonna give a lot of free reign with this plot because I think it'll be more fun that way.

THE HAUNTING OF HILL HOUSE

• Danny Crain is the eldest Crain child who marries and has Ollie quite young. Hill House haunts him (if you want you can cast a younger version) and he tries to forget but he can't really considering his daughter is like her Aunt Theo. Not exactly and definitely not as powerful as Theo, but she has a gift. Danny is a chef, Maya is an accountant and Ollie is still in high school and wants to be a photographer. As the eldest, Danny often thinks he fails to protect his siblings and is devastated by Nell's death. Maya tries to support him the best she can but she's mainly logic and reason and never truly believed in Hill House despite their daughter's ability - which she doubts. 

THE HAUNTING OF BLY MANOR

• Tessa Sharma is the ex-wife of Owen (they divorced on good terms) and Kiara is their daughter. Leo is the tutor for the kids. Tessa often drops with Kiara which is how she meets Leo. We have Tessa and Leo growing closer as Kiara bonds with the kids and her Dad. Tessa and Kiara have to stay at the house temporarily as theirs become flooded and is uninhabitable for a while. So they're there when things go down. Tessa is almost killed but Leo gets there in time and saves her. Leo and Tessa end up together.

MIDNIGHT MASS

• Amita is the Sheriff's sister which makes Arya his niece. After Amita got away from her abusive ex, she decided her and daughter needed some space so moved to be with her brother on the island. Amita is a teacher so quickly makes her way to the local school to find a job where she meets Erin and Alex (Alex is also a school nurse). Amita and Arya are traditionally Muslim but they only wear their hijabs occasionally. Arya is physically scarred from her Father and was injured by him as a child so she a limp. But after her cousin begged her to come to Father Paul's service, she started to be able to walk on it again. Amita and Alex bond a lot but she's scared after what happened last time. Alex is an atheist so doesn't attend the service. Amita is injured during the massacre and knows she won't make it gets Alex to take Arya and the kids. 

THE MIDNIGHT CLUB

• Ollie is back, but she's very ill. She has liver cancer. She doesn't know why she chose Brightcliffe, it just came to her. After everything she's been through, everything her family has been through, it seems sort of disappointing to die like that. She arrives a week before Ilonka and is already in the club. No one knows she's part of THE Crain family though. She sort of starts having a bond with both Ilonka and Kevin. When they all find out who she is, they sort of freak out and as if it's all real and she doesn't know what to tell them. All the ghost and shadow possibility stuff really puts her on edge. I know the ending wasn't very good as I believe there was meant to be another season but it was cancelled, so maybe a nice wrap up would be good. We can finally see how Ollie Crain's story will end.

THE FALL OF THE HOUSE OF USHER

• Margot Usher and Jacob are married but she kept her name and their daughter took hers. Margot is head of a publishing company specialising in books and doesn't really like the digital stuff. She was dumped at her Father's doorstep after being born and was raised by him. Jacob is the head chef at a restaurant and Melody is preparing to train to be a nurse. The deaths hit them all very hard. Margot isn't that bad, unlike her siblings, despite having stolen some ideas for her books (which she feels bad about) and only did it when her company was in trouble as she refused to go to her Dad for help. Margot is killed in a storage room full of books as they all rain down by her. Death by a thousand paper cuts. Melody is killed quickly like her cousin. Jacob helps Morelle with her charity in honour of his wife and daughter.
