FROM THE DEPTHS OF HELL, YOU COULD NOT HEAR THE SCREAMS OF VALERIE MORNINGSTAR.

Yet again, her Father had left for Earth without taking her with him. And sure, she was born and raised in Hell but that didn't mean she liked it there. So on the rare occasions that her celestial Father did bring her up to the surface, Valerie enjoyed every moment of it. Humanity was a fascinating thing and part of Valerie wanted to live amongst them. So when her Father took a trip upstairs without her, Valerie was hurt. But this trip was different. On this trip, he didn't come back.

Valerie Morningstar was stuck in Hell.

Flying between different planes of existence had never been her speciality as someone with half-demon blood. Sure, she could fly around Hell. But when it came to what truly mattered with her wings, Valerie Morningstar failed. She could not get to Earth and her Father knew that. So, as the younger Morningstar sat upon her Father's throne, gazing out at the darkness of Hell, she knew she had been abandoned, left to rule the Kingdom neither of them wanted. Because that was her Father through and through: selfish. He didn't care that she didn't want to be Queen as long as he no longer had to be King. And Valerie hated him for that.

So, when out of nowhere a portal appeared in Hell. Valerie took her chances.

She had no idea where it would lead, if she would even survive. But anything was better than Hell. And when she jumped through the blue ball of energy, she found herself on Earth. Just not on the same one as her Father.

She had read about the multiverse in the vast library in Hell — yes, Hell had a library — but Valerie did not expect herself to have travelled across it. After all, it had been so long since she had visited Earth. But when she sees a crime being committed, Valerie falls back into her old punishing ways only for the hero of the city to arrive on the scene who instantly tried to stop her. And it wasn't the first time.

The Devil's Daughter and the Flash clashed on many occasions until, finally, their small feud was brought to an end. And, unexpectedly, Valerie started to help him in his quest. This led her to meeting all of his friends, including the one and only Cisco Ramon whose brain amazed Valerie beyond belief. 

So, Valerie Morningstar, the half-demon daughter of the Devil, decided to help team Flash with whatever they needed. And come hell or high water she would do anything to protect them.

• Valerie is the daughter of Lucifer from the TV show Lucifer and a demon. So she's part angel and part demon. She has a soul, wings but it trained with the ferociousness of a demon.

• Like how every angel has a power, Valerie has one too: illusions. These illusions are great to use in hell loops. She is also immortal and super strong like any angel and demon.

• Despite being raised in Hell, Valerie is decently optimistic. But punishing is all she has ever known so she falls back on its familiarity when things get tough on Earth 1. 

• Lucifer has visited Earth many times over the centuries but very rarely did he take Valerie with him which is why when she goes through the breach, she is very confused. Not only is she on a new earth, but everything is much different to the last time she was on an Earth.

notes:

• Valerie is from Earth-666. And when she leaves Hell, her Father is already on Earth so she decides it's her time to leave anyway.

• The reason this is a Barry and Cisco fic is because, like her Father, Valerie is very flirtatious and flirts with practically everyone. It's just that Barry and Cisco get the most of it. You can do what you want with this. And whether you want to make this solely a Barry or solely a Cisco fic, I don't mind. Enjoy.

• Valerie and Lucifer have a complicated relationship. They do love each other, it's just he's selfish and often put his needs before her own. Like how when he left for Earth without telling her where and not bringing her with him. But he does make amends. 

• And with her Mother, Mara and the other demons taught Valerie how to fight, how to torture. Demons aren't the most nurturing of beings and it wasn't like Mara wanted a baby. She slept with Lucifer and it just happened. But Mara does love Valerie in her own way.

• Basically, at the end of the Flash season 1, the big wormhole created a breach in the Hell of Earth-666. And Valerie, bored of Hell, decided to go through it. But her portal appears later and crossing from a different Earth than all those Earth-2 people has an affect which is that she appears in STAR city over 6 months since the wormhole.

• She is very confused upon arriving on Earth-1. So, when she sees a crime in progress, she does what she does best: punishing. By punishing criminals, she meets the Flash who tries to stop her. They keep bumping into each other at crimes, but Valerie either uses illusions or flies away when he's not looking. They keep bumping heads for a while until he convinces her to come back to STAR labs with him. Then she tells them what's going on and they tell her what Earth she's on.

• Valerie knows John Constantine from Earth-1, like her Father does, so she likes to occasionally go away and see him. Perhaps she could be dragged along on some Legends of Tomorrow episodes?

• Also, after a while (probably a season), Valerie decides to return to her Earth and talk to her Father. Then she begins visiting regularly. Perhaps tie in a few Lucifer episodes considering both shows run at the same time at some point. 

• Valerie is so chaotic with team Flash. She can be so heroic one minute, then full on Hell torturer the next. The team have a hard time keeping her under somewhat control. 

• I'm leaving the details of the events really open because with Valerie, anything can happen. Have fun!
