CRY HAVOC AND LET SLIP THE DOGS OF WAR. Because Yui Nakamura was fucking out for vengeance and no one was going to stand in her way. 

She had to feel the seven deaths of all the members of her cluster and now she wanted nothing more than to put a knife in the brain of the man responsible. If they didn't deserve to live than neither did he, the piece of fucking shit. But Yui was stuck. Because despite the pure rage in her veins, she had no idea where this motherfucker was or how to get close to him. She was alone and with no cluster as back up, Yui's quest for revenge was doomed from the start.

So, the only thing she could do was put her vengeance on hold and enjoy what she still had. And it was because BPO believed Yui Nakamura to be dead, lost to the waves, that she was able to be free from their clutches and move across the planet, looking for help and sanctuary as she went. Yui made a promise to the last surviving member of her cluster before they died: that she would live the life she wanted, away from BPO and the life of a sensate. Because, in a way, Yui was lucky because the man who had hunted her cluster never got the chance to look her in the eye. She was free of his clutches and her cover of being dead was safe.

Travelling the world was incredible, but it was dampened by the looming — although now distant — threat over her head. Yui went to every city of belonging to her cluster, feeling the same air they breathed, the same ground they once walked upon. She even tried to bring as much closure to their families as she could. Because although they were now gone, parts of them all lived inside her and she wasn't going to waste it. Besides, she owed it to her cluster to ensure their families knew the truth and brought an end to their deteriorating hope that their loved one would one day return.

Life was good for Yui. A little lonely. But at least she was safe.

But they she met him.

In a Berlin club, Yui Nakamura was surrendering herself to the feeling of freedom. She was doing her best to honour the wishes of her fallen cluster and experience a normal-ish life. But as she danced to the beat, alcohol in her system and sweat beading from her brow, she caught the eye of a man and instantly became connected to him. Because he wasn't an ordinary man: he was a sensate like her. But the thing was, he didn't exactly know that yet because he had just started to become one; he was new to it all. And the beginning of a new cluster was always the most dangerous as they had no idea that they were hunted and they struggle with the sudden influx of emotions, not knowing how to control their new reality. Mistakes happen and that was how the evil fuckers at BPO could find them.

So, realising the man she had just connected with was a newborn sensate, Yui Nakamura vowed that she would everything she could to ensure Wolfgang Bogdanow did not lose his cluster as she had lost hers.

Wolfgang was tough, just like her. They were like feral beings, teeth snarling, claws outstretched. Ready to fight and die to rid the world of the scum, to make better lives for themselves. So, BPO had better watch out, because the dogs of war had been released and their names were Yui Nakamura and Wolfgang Bogdanow.

• Whispers took down Yui's entire cluster and the only reason she's still alive is because she managed to make it look like she was dead. And Whispers was never in her mind so he couldn't get to her.

• Because Yui's entire cluster is gone, she can't access their skills and languages but before her cluster died, they did teach her some of their skills so she knows enough to keep herself safe. Holly taught her about chemicals and what's good for what. Koa taught her about pressure points and a different form of martial arts to the one she knew. Sara taught her about plants (poisonous etc) and how to grow your own if you're off grid (which has come in useful). Juan helped her acquire the skills to disappear and travel borders without flying up red flags (but it does help they think she's dead). Robin taught her first aid, Elodie taught her how to hack (which she has gotten better at) and George taught her basic police procedures.

notes:

• Before she was a sensate, Yui was part of the Yakuza gang after being born into it as her parents were members. So Yui didn't have the best childhood but at least she could fight and use guns and a katana.

• Whispers killed her entire cluster and Yui wants revenge but she knew she couldn't do it alone. Everyone else was too scared to help her but Wolfgang's cluster wasn't. 

• Yui and Wolfgang are a mess. They're both traumatised and violent and usually aren't ones for relationships. They're so right for each other. 

ACT ONE
sense8 season one

• Yui is technically on the run but she meets Wolfgang at one of the parties he goes to and instantly becomes connected to him as a fellow sensate. Yui quickly realises he's a new sensate and it's always more dangerous in the beginning so she promises to protect him and his cluster so BPO doesn't hurt them like they did her cluster. Sticks in Berlin the entire time in this act but she communicates to the cluster through Wolfgang until he manages to give her their phone numbers. Her and Wolfgang end up together at the end of the act.

ACT TWO
sense8 season two

• During all the time the others are running, Yui meets most of them in person so she's then connected to as many as possible of Wolfgang's cluster. She's very protective of them. But once she's made sure they're okay, she returns to Wolfgang. Yui dislikes Lila for many reasons, one of them being that because of her, BPO know Yui is still alive so she's being tracked more. She doesn't get the chance to stop him going to the meeting with Lila. She's so pissed when they take Wolfgang yet she's so happy to see his cluster and their families.
