JADE THE FOUND WAS WHAT HAPPENED WHEN TWO WORLDS COLLIDED. She was a human girl raised as a troll. She was both yet at the same time, she was neither. Having been abandoned under the bridge as a baby, she was discovered by a troll — Blinky — and brought into the safety of Trollmarket and from there Jade was raised to be the perfect balance between human and troll.

When she was a mere three-years-old, Jade discovered something no one had seen coming: she had magic. Not knowing where it had come from, the trolls had to help the young girl control the immense power she had been bestowed so that it wouldn't tear her or them apart. Vendel was the one who mainly helped the child control the energy inside of her, but that task just became more difficult each year as the power inside her grew along with her.

Jade had always known she wasn't a troll — well, it wasn't exactly difficult to figure that one out — so she was fascinated by the human world of the day. But no one else could go out into the sun with her, so Jade remained under the earth in the safety of their haven: Trollmarket. But once Jade reached a certain age, she started venturing out into the daylight all on her own and was overjoyed once she felt the warm rays dance across her skin. 

She was of two worlds so it was important not to forget one for the sake of another.

But then something happened.

Jade the Found was no longer the only evidence of two worlds colliding. Because the Trollhunter amulet had chosen a human to be their champion.

It was strange. It was unheard of. It was incredible. Well, at least Jade thought so.

Now with the training of a new Trollhunter being on the top of their priorties, Jade must help Blinky and Aaarrrgghh to get the boy ready to face the threat they were facing. But never did she imagine that this would lead her to becoming closer to the boy than she ever intended. Because there were many worlds out there — the human and troll worlds were just two of them — but even though they were both from different ones, they were were made to be together.

the powers

• So, Jade was born with strong magic that she finds difficult to contain. Basically she's the next Merlin and Morgana in skill level but she can't control it yet.

• Vendel and Jade have private lessons and have done since they first discovered her magic - when she was 3 - to try and help her. But as she grows older, she gets more powerful so it becomes harder to control.

• Jim is very supportive of her with her magic - even though she is afraid of herself a lot - and tries to help her through it. 

• Once Jade starts going to school on the surface, she meets Douxie much earlier than the others and he helps her with her magic and she doesn't tell them. She's afraid they won't trust him and will make her stop the lessons that are actually helping her. Big sibling energy.

• Jade can occasionally link her magic to Claire's but it doesn't always bring the best outcomes.

notes:

• She was found under the bridge when she was a baby and the trolls decided to take her in. If you wanna change the the name, I would like it to stay rock/gem related and for her to remain as 'The Found'.

• Her diet is obviously strange but Blinky and the others did try to accommodate to her human needs. She eats human food but her meals wouldn't be standard.

• The trolls are so protective of her, it's so sweet. But when another human arrives, they're afraid they'll take Jade away. To them Jade is as much troll as she is human.

•  She's so sweet, kind, protective of the ones she loves. But she's also fearful of herself due to her powers and doesn't want to hurt anyone.

• Jade loves reading so when she goes, she loves School. She may not get things right away because of her trollish upbrining but she tries her hardest. She also may accidentally make potions in chemistry class. The entire human world is a learning curve for her.

• Once Strickler remains in changeling form, Jade makes him a magic charm that allows him to disguise himself as human despite his human familiar being free. He doesn't always use it because Barbara accepts him as he is. 

• Obviously Toby kept Jade, Jim and Claire up to date with what was happening in Arcadia - like 3Below. 

ACT ONE
trollhunters: tales of arcadia season one

• Jade remains in Trollmarket in the beginning and is shocked by a human trollhunter but does her best to help him. Not too long after Claire is brought into the loop, her, Jim and Toby manage to convince Blinky to let Jade attend school with them for the first time. It's definitely an adjustment period for her. Jade is still struggling with her magic but wants to help which frustrates her, so she learns to fight too. She's  very hurt by Jim's descision at the end because they were growing close.

ACT TWO
trollhunters: legends of arcadia season two

• In the time Jim is away, Jade meets Douxie who starts to help her with her magic and she doesn't tell a soul. She is very excited to get Jim back but is always very worried. Nothing her magic can do can revive Aaarrrgghh - she doesn't know how. Out of the Darklands, Jade and Jim grow really close. School is going decently well as well. She helps Toby defend Jim as she is a human who knows Troll Law. When Vendel is killed, she's heartbroken. As Jim is sentenced, she tells him that she has feelings for him.

ACT THREE
trollhunters: legends of arcadia season three

• Jade has lost her home and is very sad about that. She senses something is wrong with Claire due to their connection but doesn't know what. Training is going well with Douxie. They all go out as friends which is where Douxie works and Claire is acting weird. Jade and Jim are basically a thing by this point. Merlin is fascinated by Jade's power and is trying to manipulate her to use it in a way she doesn't want to. Troll Jim is a big shock for Jade but she accepts it quickly and still loves him but wants to punch Merlin. Jade and Morgana power off would slay.

ACT FOUR
wizards: tales of arcadia

• Jade left with Jim and the others but returns when Jim is hurt. The others meet Douxie in the way she knows him and are shocked she knows he's a wizard. She goes back with them. Jade, Claire and Douxie are an iconic magic trio. Jade is getting pretty good control of her powers. She's devastated when they lose him but doesn't stop trying to get him back. If you want Troll Jim to return instead of human Jim, I totally support that.

ACT FIVE
trollhunters: rise of the titans

•  Jade is helping Jim adjust with not having the amulet. Any Trollhunter fan can agree this film wasn't great, to me things started going downhill after the Titans rose. Please fix this film. Whether you save everyone, or a few, it's up to you. Please don't let that ending happen. It was so bad. 

• Once the ending of act 5 is fixed, an epilogue would be nice either in like a decade or so or Barbara and Strickler's wedding (if you let him survive).
