221B BAKER STREET WAS A refuge for the unloved, the persecuted, it was a place for those who had lost hope, that had impossible problems that needed solving and in the centre of it all was Holmes and Watson. Sherlock Holmes and Dr Jonalyn Watson were flatmates, best friends and partners in solving crime; Sherlock believed that if there was such a thing as platonic soulmates, Jonalyn would be his.

Holmes and Watson were quite a pair. They believed in science, facts and deductions but that all changed when a certain Evil Queen decided to invade their realm. She brought with her a powerful weapon unlike the people of the Victorian Realm had ever seen before: magic. Unsurprisingly the people of the Victorian Realm weren't so thrilled about the invasion, so they fought back. A gruesome war commenced, people died on both sides, but in the end, on the final day, the Victorians came out well...Victorious.

Only a few people knew what really happened during the Last Stand and Sherlock Holmes was one of them. If he had not seen it with his very own eyes, he wouldn't have believed it, he wouldn't have believed that his young niece had been the one to make the Evil Queen cower in fear. No one in the Victorian Realm had shown signs of magic before, well, that was until Elizabeth Holmes came along.

After the fight was over, it left the people confused as to where the Evil Queen and magic had come from so they sent their finest people to investigate: Sherlock Holmes, Dr Jonalyn Watson and Mary Morstan. On their arrival, they were shocked to find Elizabeth Holmes stowed away below deck, eager for an adventure.

And what an adventure it was.

The Enchanted Forest was unlike anything they had ever seen before; magic was woven through every single thing; there were fairies, dwarves and other kinds of people existing that they could never have imagined and the long bloody feud between the Evil Queen who had attempted to invade them and the Princess Snow White ruled the land. They soon befriended the Princess, her Prince Charming and their wonderful team of misfits, dedicating themselves to their fight against the cruel Queen. And when Sherlock thought they were finally winning, the curse struck.

For twenty-eight cursed years, Sherlock has lived as Carter Doyle, an ordinary Science Teacher and legal guardian of a young brilliant niece. Everyday was the same, the cycle kept going, but when Emma Swan steps over the town line, things start to change.

Carter didn't know what it was about her that made him feel drawn to her, but he was in a way he couldn't explain. Maybe it was her crystal blue eyes that he could get lost in, her bravery to stand up against the most feared beings in town or even her natural instinct to protect those around her, he wasn't certain. That was the thing about Emma Swan, she made him doubt everything: himself, his feelings and the town itself included. And soon he we will realise that Storybrooke isn't what it says on the brochures and that their picture-perfect town is full of secrets, one of them being the truth about who he really is.

background: Sherlock is the middle child. He's very protective over his younger sister Eurus and her daughter Elizabeth (Elizabeth is 12 and Eurus is 28 so she had her at 16). Despite appearances, Sherlock loves his brother and often lends a hand when he needs it. Sherlock solves his first case at the age of 8 and started to help out Scotland Yard at 17. When Sherlock started working for Scotland Yard, Greg Lestrade was new to the job so they became friends. Jim Moriarty noticed Sherlock's brilliance and played games with him until Moriarty was shot and killed by Jon.

Enchanted Forest: After the Evil Queen's invasion, Sherlock, Jonalyn and Mary set out to see what else was out there. They were greeted with the Enchanted Forest, the Queen's home realm and when they arrived they discovered that little Elizabeth had stowed away on board. It didn't take them long to find Snow White and Prince Charming who were fighting against the Evil Queen and the quartet quickly volunteered their help. This is how they ended up being swept up by the curse.

Storybrooke: In Storybrooke, Sherlock's name is Carter Doyle, he's a Science Teacher at the school, so he's good friends with Mary Margaret (Aria and Henry's teacher). He believes that his brother and sister died in a car accident, leaving him to look after his niece. Emma meets Carter the first time she comes to the school and they keep on bumping into each other.

Dr Jonalyn Watson: Dr Jonalyn Watson is the other side to Sherlock's coin, she's his best friend and partner in solving crime. She used to be an Army Doctor, but was shot whilst tending to a patient in the front line, resulting in her being sent home. The love of her life is Mary Morstan, but they have to keep their relationship a secret because of the times they were in; Sherlock knew of course, but he supported them because in his eyes, Love is love. In Storybrooke she's known as Dr Rosa Thompson and works at the hospital with Dr Whale who flirts with her, not taking the hint that she's solely into women. Carter and Rosa are good friends in Storybrooke, but not as close as they used to be when they were Holmes and Watson.

Mary Morstan: Mary Morstan used to be a spy and stopped being one after all her teammates where killed during the Evil Queen's invasion. That is how she met Jon and the two quickly fell for each other. Jonalyn knows about her past and doesn't care about who Mary used to be. In Storybrooke, Mary is known as Lily Paxton, a waitress at Granny's diner who always flirts with Rosa when she comes in. She's also good friends with Carter who can tell she likes Rosa and tries to help them to get together.

Elizabeth Holmes: Elizabeth is the daughter of Eurus Holmes and niece to Sherlock and Mycroft. She was born with incredibly powerful magic which she didn't discover until the Evil Queen arrived and she used it to push the invasion back. She stowed away on her Uncle's ship so she could explore and ended up using her magic to help Snow White's cause. In Storybrooke, she's Henry's only friend who helps him to try and break the curse whilst going by the name Aria Doyle. They love each other, but in a sibling way and are really close and protective.

• If you would like to separate this plot into more than one book, then 'Deducing Love' has to be the name of the series.

• Moriarty is dead by the time the Evil Queen invades and only appears in flashbacks and nightmares Sherlock has. Sometimes he even becomes a voice in the Consulting Detective's head.

• Mary and Jonalyn aren't married, so she's still Mary Morstan but will become Mary Watson later on.

• Both Sherlock and Carter and very arrogant and intelligent, but at heart, they're both nice and selfless people, Carter more than Sherlock.

• Henry's notices that the stories of Sherlock, Jonalyn, Mary and Elizabeth aren't in the book, they appear in it as if from nowhere, so he's very curious about that.

• Emma and Carter/Sherlock develop feelings for each other throughout Season 1 and start getting closer, but then... the curse is broken. Emma has to get to know another person, a side to Carter's personality she didn't know about. They basically start again and are together by the end of Season 2.

• Hook and Sherlock are quite close because Sherlock helps him in the beginning to turn good. They're BROTP and their bond develops so they end up seeing each other as brothers.

ACT ONE
ouat season 1

• Aria (Elizabeth) is 12 years old and Henry's only friend and believer in the curse. She keeps trying to convince her Uncle, but he believes in facts and science, not magic. Emma and Carter first meet at the school. Aria also gets trapped with Henry in the mines but because she's older, she feels responsible. Carter and Emma keep bumping into each other and they start flirting. He's also trying to set Rosa up with Lily. Aria and Carter don't leave Henry after he's poisoned and then they wake up after the curse is broken.

ACT TWO
ouat season 2

• Emma has to get to know a whole new person - Sherlock Holmes. Elizabeth falls through Jefferson's hat and into the Enchanted Forest where she reunites with her Mother, her Uncle Mycroft and Greg Lestrade whilst Sherlock, Jon and Mary are helping David to try and find a way back for them. Sherlock normally doesn't show much emotion, but when his family and one of his good friends return, he breaks down into their arms. Sherlock gets a little jealous of Neal but is there for Emma when he 'dies'.

ACT THREE
ouat season 3a

• Sherlock and Jon are the only ones to join them on their trip to Neverland, the rest stay behind to look after Storybrooke. Sherlock helps to calm down Emma when she's worked up or anxious. They kiss for the first time. Sherlock figures out that there is something not right with Henry but he doesn't know what. When the curse is cast, Sherlock and Emma have a teary goodbye because he's taken, along with his family, by the curse. During the cursed period, Jonalyn and Mary get married so she becomes Mary Watson.

ACT FOUR
ouat season 3b

• Hook helps Sherlock get to Emma because he can see how much they love each other and reminds him of himself and Milah. Sherlock does try True Loves kiss and it starts to work (it doesn't happen immediately because of the lack of magic around) before she pulls away so they have to use the potion instead. Elizabeth is upset that Henry doesn't remember her because she sees him like her baby brother. Sherlock goes back in time with Emma.

ACT FIVE
ouat season 4a

• Frozen's in town and Sherlock is there to protect Emma through thick and thin. All he wants to do is protect her and is incredibly worried when she's trapped in the ice wall. Emma tries to shut Sherlock out to protect him from herself but he doesn't let her. The curse of Shatter Sight happens and they make sure to lock up Elizabeth and Sherlock pretty tightly, knowing that her magic and his brains could get out of anything.

ACT SIX
ouat season 4b

• Elizabeth is helping Henry with Operation Mongoose as the Queens of Darkness come to town. Sherlock and his family get dragged into the book and because he used to be such a neutral person, he isn't totally evil in the book. Elizabeth is being trained to use her magic by Evil Queen Snow and Henry enlists his and Hook's help to find Emma. When Emma goes for the dagger, it breaks his heart, but he knows she has to do it.

ACT SEVEN
ouat season 5a

• In this act, Sherlock becomes the Second Dark One instead of Killian, not that he knows it because he can't remember. Jonalyn and Mary go with them to Camelot. Sherlock is 100% there to support Emma through this time and uses his brilliant mind to help to find a way to help her. Back in Storybrooke, Emma is has fully embraced the Darkness which hurts Sherlock a lot. He tries to get through to her but doesn't realise what is really going on until it's too late. When Sherlock remembers, he tries to bring back all the Dark Ones, marking his Elizabeth and Jon in the process. In the end, Emma kills him with Excalibur.

ACT EIGHT
ouat season 5b

• Emma and the gang (which includes Jon, Mary and Elizabeth) travel to the Underworld to save Sherlock who is being tortured by Hades. He tells Emma to leave him but she still continues to look for him anyway. Hades gives Emma the magnifying glass that he normally keeps on him,
but it's covered in blood. Hook doesn't get to reunite with Milah but when he hears what happened, he's distraught. Emma rescues Sherlock but they can't escape because of the names on the gravestones: Mary Watson is one of them. The heart split fails but Sherlock does come back after helping to defeat Hades.

ACT NINE
ouat season 6a

• Sherlock is the first to notice her hand tremors and starts to worry about her, especially when she doesn't want to tell him what's wrong. The Land of Untold Stories is in Storybrooke and Hyde and the Evil Queen are stirring up trouble. Even though he loves Emma, he doesn't get rid of the Shears because he knows they have to have a last resort. Hook, Sherlock and Henry end up on Captain Nemo's sub and they toss the Shears into the sea. Hook later admits to Sherlock that he was the one to kill David's father.

ACT TEN
ouat season 6b

• The Final Battle has almost arrived and Sherlock is still protectively by Emma's side. He knows how to hide things so Emma doesn't find the ring and he proposes to her and she says yes. Sherlock and Emma's wedding day gets ruined by the Black Fairy's curse and they're all transported back to the Enchanted Forest. After the Final Battle is over and won Emma tells Sherlock she's pregnant.

• An epilogue should be written based on the very last part of Season 7 when everyone is reunited.
