MORGAN TAYLOR WAS WHAT YOU would call a pessimist. He had always been a 'glass half empty' sort of person, the kind who saw his city for what it truly was: dark, miserable and full of hate. At night, when he was tracking down his latest paycheque, he would witness first hand what horrors the streets had to offer and how much anger and evil had poisoned people's hearts. He could see the shadows of the world, the darkness feeding on the light, but it definitely got worst after The Incident.

During that tragic and confusing afternoon when aliens were pouring out of a wormhole in the sky, Morgan changed, he didn't know how, he just did. Maybe it was the strange energy the extraterrestrial beings were giving off, or the powerful cube that was holding open the portal, he had no clue, the only thing certain was that it gave him the ability to become truly invisible.

A few years later, he finally felt grateful for being cursed when he used them to avoid Kilgrave's spell which placed everyone else in the precinct in a trance. Desperate to find an explanation, Morgan went in search of Jessica Jones, a leather jacket wearing alcoholic with super strength who was exactly who the strange man with mind control powers was after. Together, they must put an end to Kilgrave's schemes before it's too late, not expecting to grow feelings for one another along the way.

She may not be like any ordinary person, but for the first time in a long time, he felt as if he wasn't alone and it was all because of the raven haired PI, who's also known as Jessica Jones.

origin: No one really knows how Morgan got his powers, we just know that he got them during 'The Incident'. He was hiding in the middle of the battlefield at the time - poor choice - but he was afraid to move.

abilities: Morgan has the ability to turn invisible and if he touches something, that too turns invisible along with him. When he's invisible, he can't be placed under mind control by Kilgrave, his powers save him from it.

notes:

• Morgan is a bail bonds person and uses his invisibility to his advantage sometimes, but mostly, he doesn't use it because he thinks it's a curse.

• Both his parents died in a car crash when he was 18 and his sister was 16. Her grief grew over time and resulted in her taking her own life at 17, leaving Morgan all alone.

• Both Morgan and Jessica are broken, but they make each other feel less so. They are a fast burn and are together by the end of season 1.

• Morgan doesn't really like the fact that Jess is an alcoholic but understands that it's her coping mechanism and supports that. Jessica eventually does cut down on how much she drinks because of him.

ACT ONE
jessica jones season 1

• Morgan is in the precinct when Kilgrave comes for Jessica and he uses his invisibility to escape his control. Curious as to what happened, Morgan goes after Jessica who attacks him at first, thinking he's a bad guy. After introducing themselves, they start to work together to take down Kilgrave. Morgan and Jessica get together by the end of season one.

ACT TWO
the defenders

• Morgan is supporting Jessica after what happened with Kilgrave and their relationship is developing. They help each other out when it comes to work which is how Morgan ends up joining Jessica in her search for a missing architect. When she's brought in for questioning, Morgan is by her side - invisible of course - but Matthew Murdock can hear his heartbeat. Jessica and Morgan somehow end up dragged into the mystical war between the Chaste and The Hand. Morgan befriends Matt and is devastated when he doesn't come out.

ACT THREE
jessica jones season 2

• Morgan uses his resources to help Trish figure out what happened to Jess. He befriends the new guy downstairs after moving in with Jessica. Their relationship is growing and they're very protective over one another. Morgan isn't 100% sure of what he feels towards Jess's mother but goes along with it for Jess's sake. When Jess is not with him, Morgan bumps into Matthew Murdock, who he believed to be dead, fighting crime and practically begging to be killed. At the end, Morgan is there to help and support Jessica after what had happened.

ACT THREE
jessica jones season three

• Morgan helps Jessica track down Trish. Morgan befriends Erik and as a result, Jessica gets hurt and he blames himself. So afterwards, Morgan tries to distance himself from Jessica, thinking that everyone around him gets hurt and he doesn't want her to be killed. Erik finds him and knocks some sense into him. Morgan then helps them track and take down the serial killer as well as keeping an eye on Trish. At the end, Jessica and Morgan go to leave, but end up changing their minds because New York was their home and they have to protect it.

• Maybe their could be an epilogue chapter or a chapter based upon the events of Infinity War and Endgame at the end.
