Namratha's POV
My boyfriend and I were consoling Soo-Ah during her lunch break, not too far off from her office block. Taehyung, in full attorney mode, was a delightful sight to the eye. I fought an internal battle between being there for my boss's girlfriend and eyeing my boyfriend while he stood there looking like he'd walked off a K-drama set.
I'd spent the last five minutes focusing on the conversation between the two friends. I understand Korean fluently, so I've had no issues following the conversation, I can also read Korean quite fluently - it was speaking that got me down.
"... So, oppa, you mean to say- " But I hastily placed an index finger over Soo-Ah's lips, shaking my head in a silent warning for her to stop talking.
Soo-Ah's eyes followed mine to the hedges around us, and nodded at me silently, an understanding passing between us. By now, she had also noticed that there were hoards of paparazzi everywhere.
Many of whom were tailing her, their prying eyes watching her closely for more gossip. One of the younger female reporters that I'd spied on, had been taking notes in a tiny notebook.
Another was recording events in an audio recording device, surely taking minute by minute note of whatever they saw, for them to cook up more of their lives for the starved houswives of the world to feast on!
'This entire situation was becoming far too ridiculous! Jungkook isn't as famous as a K-pop idol! He's just an ordinary artist!'
'And yet, here we were!'
Perhaps, for a bit more drama, we should just dial Scotland Yard as well!
"We'll show you everything this evening. For now, I think it's safer if you go back to your office, Sue. We'll do what we can on our end and speak to Jungkook as well... I think Tae was more worried about you, because- " It was Tae's turn to place a finger over my lips, stopping me from alerting Soo-Ah about the murder of paparazzi crows who were watching us like prey.
The smell of his perfume had flooded my senses, and I felt my knees weaken. He just have noticed the effect he'd had on me, because I noticed a dark look pass over his eyes with a light chuckle.
'Fuck... He's enjoying doing this to me, isn't it?!'
"Nammy, shhh... We'll talk this evening. All of us, together." Tae advised, looking more serious now.
And yet, I felt my insides melt at how sexy he looked in this suit. He was dressed like the 11th Doctor. 'I wanted to - no Namratha!' I chided myself. But of course my boyfriend would want to flirt by dressing up as Matt Smith's 11th Doctor!
'I'll get him! I know just who to dress like for him.' I thought, grinning to myself.
But first, we need to help Jungkook and Soo-Ah resolve their misunderstanding!
I could see the relief flooding through Soo-Ah, as whatever Taehyung and I had just explained to her, sank in. But, I also noticed that Soo-Ah looked a little nervous, probably because she's been mad at Jungkook without the guy actually understanding why she had been ignoring him all day.
We were going to be meeting at the guys' old rendezvous place in Tae's district. He lives in Pontcanna and our meeting point wouldn't be too far away from his home.
I hope we can implement our solution soon. All I really want is to spend time with my Taehyung.

Taehyung's POV
For as long as I have known Jungkook; which was longer than I've known most of the other people in my life; he has never let anything, nor anyone ever make him cry. Especially, not a woman.
Until today.
So, when I looked at him standing in his studio at the art gallery, I knew right there and then, that Jeon Jungkook was smittenly head over heels and very much in love with Park Soo-Ah. Fortunately for him, the poor girl felt just the same way about him. Albeit, they're so new to this that they had quickly become easy prey to the paparazzi - with hardly enough time to first process their own feelings!
Like vultures out for a feast on the pain of the helpless; there were at least a dozen paparazzi flocking around both Jungkook and Soo-Ah within Cardiff city.
As a result, Jungkook and I decided hold off our meeting at our old hang out spot. An intern of mine had found that many of the nosy field members of the press had already arrived at our rendezvous point. Some paparazzi had already caught wind of our earlier plan, poorly disguising themselves in a mixture of suits and college students' clothing - since it was in the middle of a local park. Instead, after I dropped my girlfriend off at home, I drove straight to his studio at the gallery - a less likely place to meet him as deduced by the brainless members of the local press.
Namratha had advised Jungkook work there instead, seeing as he was drawing too much attention at his residence. There werefar stricter security measures at the art gallery and only authorized personnel were ever allowed into and out of the building - at all points of exit.
Making sure to research the previous night's activities thoroughly, I decided to stop by and find out exactly what happened between them last night. My assistant had found the cellphone of a particularly young reporter outside Jungkook's home studio's window, which was situated above his actual place of residence.
In addition to this, my team of interns had located the paparazzi's stock of candid photographs of Jungkook and Soo-Ah, my two best friends.
With the aid of AI technology, it was easy to hack into their systems, copy all of the data and then leave behind a virus to clean up this horrid mess the media had created. Of course, we used ethical hacking methods. As a safety messure, we had all our processes and practices audited by many legal authorities and the police were in favour of our methods. They were clearly unhappy with the wicked ways of some Media houses taking advantage of celebrities within the greater Cardiff area.
"Now Kookie, you need to understand that if this were Korea, the paparazzi would have done far worse to the pair of you. So, I should impress on you the seriousness of the matter, before I share my solution." I say sternly to him as I explained exactly what we found and how my team has dealt with it; being the big brother I rarely tended to be.
This situation had called for the serious side of Kim Taehyung. So naturally, I had approached this entire situation as a lawyer.
"Arrasso hyung. I'll do anything you say!" Jungkook's big eyes stared at me with hope (and tears) shining in them. And my heart melted right there, into a pool on the floor and I knew that he certainly hadn't intentionally done anything to harm Soo-Ah.
"Alright, so, this is what we're going to be doing..." And with that, I explained the entire plan that my girlfriend and I had cooked up, in a low whisper.
We cannot chance the paparazzi finding out more than they already have.
Both Jungkook and Soo-Ah had agreed to meet us at an old rendezvous spot with Jungkook in the heart of Pontcanna. It was technically the safest place to meet now.
Because, no one used the old chapel there anymore. Not even the government, and since Pontcanna was posh, grovelling vultures never showed their shabby faces there. The AI security drones and cameras would alert the nearest police station, immediately reporting them as trespassing!

Jungkook's POV
I can't believe how stupidily blind I've been!
Soo-Ah had seen the front page of the local Tabloid's conspiracy article about us, thinking that I was meeting another girl!
Argh... I am so stupid!
I should have been more careful!
The paparazzi had cleverly edited an image of us that they had sneakily clicked, so that her clothes were a different colour. According to the reporter that hung has had arrested, it was 'a sure fire way to make it look like I was at that park with another girl'.
I was disgusted with these so called humans.
How could they claim to human after ruining the lives of so many people - worldwide celebrities included.
Whether it was intentional or not, that image alone had caused enough damage between my girlfriend and me. I tried texting her in the morning, but was left on read.
And then those paparazzi vultures had not-so-innocently swarmed my doorstep. And right afterwards hyung had called me...
My morning had gone from a beautiful sunny side up to burned scramble in the middle of my plate.
Nothing mattered to me anymore.
I trudged forwards to the art supply store, dragging my feet along as I purchased more paint (and other supplies) than I could carry to my studio. While I was at the supply store, I rang Namratha up and she advised that I should work at the gallery instead.
Agreeing with her, I lugged the heavy bag of paint and other art supplies to my studio, entering it through the fire escape. I wasn't in a mood to smile at anyone at the front end of the gallery - not even the guards.
It's been two days since I met her.
Just two...
And yet, my entire world has been picked up and toppled over, like someone had taken my neatly arranged sock drawer and flipped it over on to the floor, then laughed at the mess they've made and ran off.
That's precisely what it felt like. And now, here I am, crouching on the floor, trying to pick up and undo the mess as I refold everything, restoring it all to the way I once had it.
Sigh... I miss Soo-Ah so much.
I hope she's alright.
Hyung didn't want to tell me what's going on with her. Even Namratha was behaving cryptically about everything.
This is torture!
I need Soo-Ah. I miss her so much!
There isn't much I could say or do without my next move being heavily judged by them. That's why hyung advised that Soo-Ah and I were to keep a low profile for now.
For now, all I can do is leave everything in God's hands. Surely, He's brought her into my life for a reason?
Right?

Soo-Ah's POV
Jungkook had met me at the park down the road from my house yesterday. He briefly hugged me and grabbed my hand, taking me into the small copse trees that grew around the park, where he'd skillfully hidden his bike.
After our date at his home studio, we returned to my area, stopping at the park to talk a little more before he dropped me off at my front door.
The blurry image of the girl in the photograph wore jeans and a t-shirt like mine. But her face was blurred out and the colour of her clothes had been shabbily edited.
I feel so stupid.
Why didn't I stop to think about what happened last night before believing these freaking vultures and my mother's useless gossip!
Sigh. I pinched the bridge of my nose, tamping down the terrible thoughts that swam through my head.
I sat at my desk, staring as the same string of words on my excel spreadsheet for the last thirty minutes.
Blinking rapidly, both to prevent myself from crying for the third time that day, and to clear away the intrusive thoughts in my head, I tried to focus on the words in front of me once more.

"Why am I even a buyer?" I wondered to myself.
"I should find another, less sociable job. Like an accountant! Yeah. That's more suitable."
"And soul sapping." But this time, this thought wasn't in my own voice. I looked up to see Maddie smile kindly at me.
"You don't need to quit this job, Sue. You need to talk to him. I'm giving you the rest of the day off for today and tomorrow. Now go, before I change my mind!" She scolded, though I knew she was joking when I saw a small smile appear on her face.
"Thank you, Madison!" I bowed, not realizing that I'd reverted to a traditional thank you, as I gathered up my things and rushed out of the building.
It was now two o'clock in the afternoon and I just boarded a train homeward.
"Nammy, I'm on my way home." I said by way of greeting.
'I needed a drink. Perhaps a shot glass of tears would do...'
'My world felt like it was crumbling.' I sniffed as I dialled Namratha on my way home, to let her know that I'd gotten some time off from work.
"That's very kind of your manager. You should rest for now. You've had a rough morning, get some shut eye." She advised, like the big sister I never had.
"Perhaps after that we could meet with Jungkook. Maybe it can be sooner than we'd expected." I tried, eagerly hoping to see him.
"You should get some rest before that. You know the plan Sue. Just say the word when you're ready." She replied, the cut the call.
