Jungkook's POV
I want to kiss her so badly right now!
But what would she think of me? We'd only just met.
Taehyung and Namratha had left the premises together. It seems that they were already well acquainted with each other. And I think perhaps they were already seeing each other, because hyung had left the building holding her hand and he had completely forgotten about me after the tea party had officially ended.
And so did my assistant, Namratha.
I'm happy for them.
But I'm also terrified of being alone with Soo-Ah in my studio. I brought her here on a small tour of the gallery; and I did promise to show her some of my other work while we were having tea.
My hyungs had all made some excuse or the other to leave early. Either their wives or girlfriends had called or they needed to head back to their hotel to pack - owing to the fact that they needed to board a flight home tonight.
Either way, the growing anticipation of doing something more with Soo-Ah was killing me.
'There's that feeling of anxiety again. Why did I feel so nervous and anxious around her?'
I took a seat quietly next to her. Then I took her hand in mine again. It felt good to hold her hand. It was comforting - reassuring even.
"I want to spend more time with you." I repeated.
"Sure. I'm free on weekends. You have my number now. Give me a call." She smiled at me, I felt my anxiety and nerves melt away.
"And what if I want to visit you?" I say to her, looking into her eyes.
"That's fine too." She smiled.
"Okay. Are you free tomorrow?" I asked her hopefully.
"Yes, I'm free after work." She smiled, brushing a stray strand of hair behind her ear.
Perfect.
"Would you like to see a movie or uh- maybe something else perhaps?" I rubbed the back of my neck nervously, just thinking about date ideas had me feeling nervous again.
"Hmmm... maybe we could go somewhere we can just talk?" She suggested, I liked her honesty.
"Sure. It's a date." I grinned at her.
"I- I- mean... " I faltered, unsure what this was.
"Yes." She said simply and kissed my cheek.
"It's getting a little late oppa, can you please take me home now?" She asked politely.
I shook myself free from the shock of what just happened and rose up off the beanbag to take her home.

Soo-Ah's POV
Jungkook is so adorable.
He blushed a lot during the entire High Tea procession and even when he'd taken me by the hand, his cheeks had turned a shade of pink.
It felt good when he'd taken hold of my hand in front of everyone, even his friends.
I felt safe with him.
Tae oppa had left with Jungkook's assistant, Namratha. Apparently they were dating. I'm happy for them. Taehyung had surprised me today. I didn't know he had a girlfriend!
He often asked me about my dating life, but kept his a secret, even from Jungkook!
Oh well... I guess we all want our privacy.
Jungkook and I sat together in silence in his car on the way home. I suppose he had a lot going on in his head, it had been a long day. Turning 30 is a big event in one's life. I guess he's musing over something, perhaps we'll see an exhibition of his new work soon.
I too had a long day. I'd gone to the market place for a break away from my parents, they were so over bearing at times.
And then I bumped into Jeon Jungkook! And he asked me to join him for his birthday celebration!
It had been a busy day indeed.
My feet began to ache now that I was almost home. These heels hurt after a few hours of being on your feet.
The things we do for beauty... I sighed.
We were almost at my house when he stopped the car suddenly at the curbside.
"What would you say if I had to ask you on an official date for tomorrow?" Jungkook turned to face me, looking directly into my eyes.
"Yes! I- er... I mean, that would be lovely Jungkook." I stammered, feeling a blush creep up my cheeks.
"Good. I'll pick you up at 7pm." He grinned, and started moving the vehicle again.
Once we were outside my house, he stopped the vehicle, got out of the car, opened the car door for me, then walked me to my door, holding my hand.
"Jungkook, you don't have to do this. You've already picked me up and dropped me off. That's more than enough for me." I say, trying to let him know that it's okay to go home if he wanted.
"Nonsense. I can't just leave you standing here all on your own while you wait for someone to open the door for you." He smiles at me charmingly.
"I have a key Mr. Jeon..." I say pulling it out of my clutch purse.
"Oh... " He said standing up from the doorframe he'd just casually leaned against.
"You're very prepared, Soo-Ah. I like that." He smiled, then kissed my cheek.
"Don't forget, 7pm tomorrow, I'll pick you up." He started to say as he walked backwards towards his vehicle.
"I won't forget." I waved to him as he got into the driver's seat and drove off.

Soo-Ah's room
20h00
"So... I heard you talking to a boy outside the house earlier." My sister says as she walked into my room.
"Oi! There's a bloody door! Knock!" I cried in surprise.
My sister was annoying like that. She'd barge in, starting a conversation by jumping right to the point.
She knocked on the door, then walks in and perches herself on my bed.
"Spill, now." She demands, crossing her arms over her chest.
"No." I began to smile as myself, pulling my knees up to my chin and hugging them.
"Come on Sue!" She whined.
"Oh, alright then!" I said. After all, she was the only real family I had.
"It was a new friend. He's actually Taehyung oppa's childhood friend." I said to her, then I yawned and climbed under the covers.
"Goodnight sis." I say and switch off my beside lamp.
"Argh! You're no fun!" She whines and stomps off to her own room.
"I'll tell you tomorrow." I shouted after her, then curled up and fell asleep.

Jungkook's POV
Jungkook's bedroom
20h00
Soo-Ah is so beautiful. I've been looking through the photographs that were posted online. Several had made their way to the local tabloids. Twitter even had them!
I guess seeing me with a girl really stirred up the local press. I shrugged to myself as I shared these with Soo-Ah.
Oh well... I'm going to have to be very tactful about tomorrow's date.
And I knew just the right place to take her for our first date!
I smiled to myself as I kept my phone aside, stretched and closed my eyes.
Within minutes, I felt myself drift off into a peaceful sleep.

Soo-Ah's POV
07h00
"Omg! You cow!" My sister screamed as I walked into the kitchen for breakfast this morning.
"Good morning sister." I said dryly. I'm used to her brash behaviour by now.
"You went to Jungkook's 30th birthday celebration and you stood with him! You met him! Did you get his number? Is he single? Omg! He's so handsome! Is the lip ring real?" She said in a single breath.
"Hold up... what? Where did you get something so ridiculous as that?" I asked her, giving her an incredulous look.
"The pictures are all over social media dummy!" She said to me as if this was supposed to be common knowledge to me.
"Ya! Park Ji-ah! Speak with respect to your older sister!" My mother scolded her.
"Yes omma!" Ji-ah said, rolling her eyes when our mother had turned her back.
"The point is... you met JK!" She whispered excitedly!
Well at least she kept my secret.

At the office...
"I see you had some fun yesterday during your day off." My manager says to me as I walk into the office.
"Morning Maddie." I smiled, unsure why she grinned at me so crazily.
"So... tell us how it went!" My colleagues all said to me as I sat down at my desk in our shared office.
Today, of all days, I wished so desperately to have my own private office.
"Come on Sue! Tell us!" Catherine, my fellow colleague said to me, nudging my arm with hers.
"Guys, I really don't know what you're on about."
"Park Soo-Ah, don't play dumb." Maddie said to me.
"Uhm... I'm not. I'm just very confused, Maddie."
"You met Jungkook! And you even had a picture taken with him!" She exclaimed as if I were retarded and didn't know that already.
"And?" I said casually, clicking on excel to continue my spreadsheet from the other day.
"Explain how you got to do this!" Maddie exclaimed, as Catherine rolled her chair closer to me.
"Girls let me do my job. I have a list of things I need to calculate before I send this to finance for approval. Ops is on my tail about the depleting inventory levels for their rice crispies!"
"Nice try Sue. I've already done that Purchase Order yesterday, while you were away. Did you not see your emails?" Catherine said bluntly.
'Argh.... these women and gossip were like two peas in a pod!'
"Okay... I managed to get to the event. And I didn't realise I was standing with him." I lied.
"You're a terrible liar Soo-Ah. " Maddie says to me.
"See, she's looking him in the eyes here and he's got his arm around her!" They all gushed in perfect harmony.
'Why is this happening to me?'
I picked up my phone. I hadn't checked it all morning.
My phone exploded with notifications! Jungkook had sent me all 200 photographs that were taken of us, at the High Tea event.
꧁•⊹٭🩷٭⊹•꧂
When I heard the sharp intake of breath after my lunch break, I was almost ready to phone Jungkook and ask him if he could request the photos be deleted off the Internet.
Because the girls had discovered the pictures of me feeding him cake.
I face palmed myself, mentally preparing myself for what was coming.
"You got to feed the man cake! Who are you?" My manager gasped.
"I'm Park Soo-Ah, purchasing officer at XYZ manufacturers." I replied dryly.
:Pssht. The name of the company sounded like it was made up by an accounting teacher. But here I was, working here for four and half years.'
'And the name is very much real.'
'After four and half years... I don't even care how ludicrous the name sounds. The pay is fabulous.'
I snapped out of my reverie when my phone rang on my desk, in clear view for the crazy women around me to see who it was.

Jungkook's POV
15h00
My phone rang off the hook at the studio the entire morning. Many members of the public wanted to know who the beautiful girl was next to me, in all the photographs that were posted.
Even now, after lunch, these crazy bastards were dying of curiosity about who the woman was. The paparazzi never rest.
"That's classified as per the Protection of Personal Information Act as per the Welsh Government, 1979, unfortunately. Yes, like I said, it's classified." I lied. I'd made up most of what I'd said.
'I hope Soo-Ah is alright.'
I decided to call her up, just to check in on her. I hadn't heard from her since she'd thanked me for the pictures I'd sent to her earlier.
"OMG! JEON JUNGKOOK!!!!!" A whole group of women had screeched in my ear from the other end of the line. I dropped my phone onto a beanbag, as if it were suddenly boiling hot, completely startled.
'I did not expect that!'
"Shoo! He heard you. Let me speak!" I heard Soo-Ah shooting the women off.
"Jungkook? Hello? Oppa?" And at that the women had gone wild, Soo-Ah chided them once more.
I could hear her asking them if they didn't have any other work to do. She was really something else when she got shy.
"Hi Soo-Ah! Look at you, little miss celebrity." I smirked into the receiver.
It was kind of sexy when she got a little cross.
"It's not funny oppa." She said crossly, switching to Korean. That's how I knew it was serious.
"Bad day, huh?" I asked her casually.
"Ne. They pounced on me as soon as I set foot in the office! My sister even saw it online. I think I should be glad my mother hasn't seen it yet. She's a huge fan of yours too." She sighed, sounding resigned.
"Awwww, my poor little Soo-Ah." I cooed. "Maybe we should just chill at my studio laer instead?" I suggested.
It suited us just fine. Going out to a restaurant would only draw even more unwanted attention to us.
"Yes? Please can I live there forever? I don't want to be seen in public ever again!" She whined.
"You're cute when you speak Korean. Did you know that? And you can live with me anytime." I winked on reflex realising she could see it as I flirted with her.
"Can you hear the silence now? It's because we're speaking Korean. And they don't know a word of it. It's so good to have a proper conversation after the weird conversations I've had to endure all day! How do you manage?
She sounded exhausted now.
"Well... yes I can actually hear you now. And I know what you mean. My studio's telephone has been ringing off the hook all morning. Everyone is dying to know who the beautiful woman standing next to me was! I normally don't have this problem. No one cares enough about art to phone me, let alone 'fan-girl' over me. Like I said, K-pop idols have it the worst." I explained.
"Awww, I'm sorry oppa. Hey, at least we can see each other later." She says and I can hear the smile slowly forming on her lips.
"For now, please say hello to the ladies of the purchasing department at XYZ manufacturers." She says, switching back to English. No sooner had Soo-Ah said this, did her office erupt in shouts once more.
"You're on speaker now Mr. Jeon." She said, which was code enough for me to know that they were all listening.
"Hi ladies. How are you doing?" I say and was met with cries of 'marry me' and 'we're fine if you keep speaking'... and other crazy things.
"Okay, nice to meet all of you. I gotta go now... maybe I can say hi again another time? Bye guys!" I grinned as they all excitedly yelled a little more and then cut the call.
Soo-Ah is just so cute.
'Hmmm... she's a buyer? How interesting.'
'Oh... I better finish up this sculpture if I want to be on time for my date with her.'

A/n: Thank you for reading 😊
I figured if he's an artist, people do go crazy for artists in some areas. And it's JK so no argument there!
I also mentioned an act we have in my country but I made up the part about the Protection of Personal Information Act being a Welsh act - they probably have a similar law though.
P.s. Happy 28th Birthday Kim Taehyung!
