"FORSYTHE PENDLETON JONES III" Betty yelled as she came down the stairs to the bar in the middle of a serpent meeting. "Uh oh what have you done?" Sweetpea joked. "YOU ATE MY MUFFIN!" She yelled as she made her way over to him. A few of the serpents started laughing but after Betty glared at them they shut up. "Sorry Baby, I didn't know it was yours" Jug said and placed a hand on her hip. "I was looking forward to that!" She huffed. The serpents had gotten used to pregnant Betty's mood swings; pregnant Betty was emotional. "Now I have to get another one!" She moaned. "I'll get you one betts. Just let me finish up here" he said. "No I'll get it" she said and stormed out the bar. As soon as the door shut behind her the Serpents burst out laughing. "Good luck son" FP laughed and jughead just glared at them.

Later on in the day Betty had returned with a box of muffins and she walked through the bar, gave jughead a kiss on his cheek and plays her muffin box on the counter top of the bar. She then moved behind the bar and grabbed a pen and paper. "What you doing Betty?" Fangs asked from the table with Sweetpea, fangs and jughead. "See for yourself" she said smugly and they got up to see what she was doing. On the countertop there was a piece of paper that said:

Betty's muffins- DO NOT EAT OR YOU WILL BE SORRY

There was a little angry face she'd drawn next to it and then an arrow pointing to the box. Everyone started laughing and jughead wrapped his arms around her. "You're cute" he said and kissed her head. "So... what shall we do with the rest of the day?" Jug asked. "Maybe we could go out for lunch?" Betty said, Turing around to look at him. "That sounds lovely" he said and kissed her. "Do I need to change?" She asked, self consciously looking down at her jeans and jumper. "No baby, you look amazing" he assured her and grabbed her hand and his keys. They arrived at a small café and Betty ordered a salad and another muffin (today's craving ) and jughead ordered a meat lovers sandwich and cheesecake. "So would you like to do some shopping?" He asked as they ate. "Maybe we could just look around for a bit" she said. "Eventually I'm going to need maternity clothes but not yet" she added. "I can't wait for you to have a proper bump" he grinned over the table. "You can't wait for me to get fat?" She said. He grabbed her hand over the table. "You won't be fat! You're carrying our baby and it's amazing" he said, not wanting her to feel bad about her body knowing she struggles with that. "Okay" she said. "Good, now eat your food" he smirked.

They walked hand in hand around town and they stopped occasionally to look in a few shops. When they were done they went back to the truck and jughead held the door open for her and she kissed him gratefully. When they arrived back in the bar they were ambushed by the one and only Veronica Lodge. "B!" She squealed and hugged her friend. "Hey V. What are you doing here" Betty smiled. "I wanted to catch up!" She said and pulled her friend into a booth. "Do you guys want a drink?" Jug said as he took Betty's coat off her. "I'll have a coffee please, B do you want one?" Veronica asked. "I can't have coffee, damn pregnancy but I'll have a green tea please" Betty smiled at her husband. "So are you excited?" Veronica asked. "Yes! I can't believe it" Betty said. "I'm going to spoilt that little girl or boy so much!" Veronica said. Jughead brought them over their drinks and the girls continued to catch up; Betty told Veronica about the baby gender reveal idea which Veronica loved. "So I have a date today!" Veronica said. "Oh Yeah Who with?" Betty asked. "Archie" Veronica said. "Archie?" Betty asked. They'd always been friends, Betty had no idea that they liked each other. Betty was still forgiving Archie for when he tried to hit on her a few months back but she was still happy for her friends if that's what they wanted. "I'm Happy for you" Betty smiled.

After Veronica left Betty went up to the apartment and pulled out a book and sat curled up on the Couch reading. When jughead came up a few hours later he found her asleep, the book slipping out of her hand. He lightly chuckled to himself and placed the book on the coffee table and then carefully picked her up and took her into the bedroom. "Goodnight beautiful... and bug" he said and kissed her forehead and then her stomach.
