At the gender reveal party everyone was gathered around excitedly waiting for Betty and jughead to come down. "Hey guys!" Betty smiled, holding jugheads hand as they walked down the stairs from their apartment and into the bar. Everyone greeted them and after speaking to everyone for a while Veronica stood on the stage. "Hello everyone, I'm Veronica. So we're all here to find out the gender of Betty and jugheads baby. We have a fun little game before we get to the reveal" Veronica started. "We have some ribbon, pink and blue. If you think baby jones is going to be a girl then put a pink ribbon on your wrist, or if you think the baby is a boy then put on a blue ribbon" she said. Everyone moved to get a ribbon. Betty put a blue on one and jughead put on a pink one. "It's going to be a girl and you'll be wrong" jughead teased Betty. "That's where you're wrong Jughead Jones" Betty smirked and he laughed and pulled her into him for a kiss. "Sorry to break up the PDA but we all want to know the gender!" Toni yelled to jughead. Jughead rolled his eyes while Betty giggled and hand by hand they walked out the front of the bar.

After Kevin and Veronica told everyone how the gender reveal was going to work, with the smoke coming out of the motorcycle, Veronica instructed Archie to place the smoke can into the exhaust of the bike. "Okay Smithers offered to ride it so I'll go and get him" Veronica said and ran off. "Are you ready baby?" Jughead asked as he put his arm around Betty. "So ready!" She smiled. "Okay is everyone ready!" Kevin yelled excitedly. "Yes!" Everyone screamed enthusiastically. "Okay then Smithers GO!" Veronica said. Smithers drove off and as he revved up the engine the smoke came out. Suddenly everyone was fogged in chalk... blue Chalk!

"ITS A BOY!" Everyone yelled. Betty laughed, tears falling down her face and she pulled jughead down to give him a passionate kiss and he beamed and spun her around. "We're having a boy" he whispered in awe. "I know!" She giggled, happy tears still falling. Jughead also had tears falling down his face. Everyone rushed to the happy couple to congratulate them. "We have a serpent prince on the way!" Sweetpea yelled. "Hell Yeah we do!" Fangs said. "I'm so happy for you guys!" Toni squealed, everyone hugging. "Congrats B" Veronica said, her and Archie coming over to hug her. "Congrats betts and you man" Archie said bro hugging jughead after Betty. "Thanks guys" Betty smiled. Kevin came up behind her and bear hugged her. "I'm so happy for you!" He grinned. After talking to all the serpents, FP went over to his son and daughter in law. "You guys are going to be the best parents to my grandson" he said, getting choked up. "Thanks dad" Jug said, hugging FP. "Thank you FP" Betty smiled. "Please Betty, you can call me dad. You're as much of my Daughter as jellybean" FP said. Betty looked up at him, tears falling down her face before hugging him tight. FP squeezed her back, tears falling down his face. He knew Betty felt lost after she found out about Hal so he was glad he could make her happy. Jughead stood watching their interaction, tears now falling freely.

"So betts looks like you were right about the gender" Kevin said, pointing at the blue ribbon still sitting on her wrist. "I told you juggie!" Betty teased and he wrapped his arms around her from behind. "Well I'm happy either way" he smiled and kissed her head. "I'm still right!" Betty smirked proudly.

"Well you know what they say... mother always knows best" a voice cut through the bar.

Betty turned around and in a instant the happy bubble she had been in, burst and everything came crashing down around her. She went rigid in jugheads arms. All eyes were on her as they saw what was happening. Betty felt like she couldn't breath but she managed to choke out one word.

"Mom?"
