Y/N took a deep breath and walked inside the clinic a little earlier than her appointed time. She walks inside and comes across a receptionist who smiles formally and greets her, "Good evening mam, how may I help you?" the receptionist asks looking tired but still maintaining a smile, "I have an appointment with Dr. Jung" Y/N states smiling nervously and Yoongi enters the clinic and walks to her.

"I'm sorry mam, you might be mistaken, but Dr. Jung's last patient just went in earlier and I don't think there are any more appointments ahead" the receptionist points out in a polite tone, "Yeah, it was a last-minute appointment and I didn't actually make an official appointment but talked to Dr. Jung and he said it was fine and he would adjust my visit after his last appointment today" Y/N clears the issue but the lady glares at her.

"I'm sorry but you can't have an appointment today, it's been a very tiring day for Dr. Jung and I would appreciate it if you book your appointment just like any other patient rather than making the doctor work overtime", the receptionist says with a hint of hostility making Y/N frown and flatten her smile. "Mind your work will you, if the doctor doesn't have any issue with the time, he assigned who are you to meddle with it?" Yoongi spits from beside getting annoyed by the hostile receptionist.

"If you are that impatient, then you can take your wife somewhere else, sir", the receptionist says and Yoongi bangs his fist on the counter which made both the ladies flinch back. "She's my sister and you better start treating your clients with respect if you still want this job" Yoongi warns and the girl visibly gulps, she takes a moment before speaking "You sister huh? I bet you guys are here for an abortion then? What was the reason then, one-night stand? incest?" the receptionist spits making Y/N widen her eyes and grip Yoongi's hand who was ready to flip the furniture around.

She shook her head horizontally, her tears slipping down her cheeks and she hiccups before nudging him to walk out while the lady scoffs behind the counter. "Just because you can't be a mother you shouldn't be insulting everyone who gets to experience the feeling Minji" a female voice was heard coming from another side, Y/N didn't have any energy left to see or participate in any drama and so she proceeds walk-away but a familiar voice stops him.

"Y/N!" a male, calls her and she turns back along with Yoongi who had a very harsh expression, "Why were you leaving? And why is your brother looking at me as if he's gonna kill me?" the man asks with a horrified face, "Why don't you ask that receptionist of yours?" Yoongi fumes and Hoseok turns to the said lady who looked away in guilt. "What happened Minji?" he asks in a not-so-friendly tone, "Hoseok, hun, we can talk about this later but first you need to attend to the patient here, she seems pale" the second lady points out and Hoseok turns to Y/N who looked teary and pale.

He wanted to ask more but he knew better than that, "Let's head this way Mrs. Kim" Hoseok leads her and she cringes at the name he addressed her with. Although she was still married to Taehyung she preferred to be called Y/N or Ms.L/N at that moment. She sighs and walks inside with the doctor while Yoongi takes his seat in the lounge with the two ladies.

"Ok so, what's the issue, your general check-up isn't for two more months", Dr. Jung asks and she fiddles with her fingers, "I...I took pregnancy tests and they came out positive, all three of them and I wanted to make an official checkup to make sure" she replies and the man smiles at her, "That's great news, we can perform blood test but the result might take time come out. I'll let you know when it does", he says and she nods, Dr. Jung prepares the necessary items and soon enough he takes her blood sample and they both take their seat.

"Y/N, I don't know what Minji has said but I'm really sorry on her behalf, she's been not in a good mood for a few days now", he says with an awkward smile and she smiles back with a knowing expression. "It's ok, but make sure she doesn't work with bottled-up feelings and stress", she says and he nods awkwardly, "I'll leave now, let's hang out sometime", she says and he agrees with a nod.

They both walk out and soon enough Yoongi and Y/N leave the place.

The next day-

Jimin asked Y/N to meet him up for lunch, he also told her that he has a surprise for her. She was excited as well as nervous at the same time. And for some reason, she felt uneasy feeling but you shrugged it off considering it might be something related to her being pregnant and so she got ready for lunch.

Checking one last time in the mirror before setting off, she found herself cute in the simple white midi dress accessorized with a simple pendant chain and earrings along with her wedding ring, a wrist watch and a bracelet on each of the hands, while hair secured with a claw clip. And some natural make-up which finished her look. She smiled at her reflection then grabbed her things and got out of her brother's apartment, where she moved to after returning back from Daegu.

Getting in her car, she fastens her seatbelt then turns on the engine and drives off to Jimin's place. Thinking about Jimin and his little angel has effortlessly put a smile on her face. She was excited, not because of Jimin but because of his daughter. The last time she spent time with her at the park made her fond of the little girl. Soon she reached the address Jimin sent her.

Parking her car in the driveway, she got out of the car and then walked towards the main door after locking her vehicle while admiring the beauty of the exterior of the House. Soon she was standing in front of the main door, and suddenly her heart started beating faster not in a good way but more in an anxious way. Nevertheless, she rang the doorbell, and minutes later she heard some footsteps approaching, and the door in front of her opened revealing Jimin's mom.

Y/N smiles widely at her but it was the opposite with her, her smile fades away as soon as she saw Y/N at the front door. This kinda made Y/N disheartened, as she always used to smile warmly at her, 'maybe she's upset about her daughter-in-law seeing me, as I'm Jimin's ex' Y/N thought but still smiled lightly. "Good afternoon, Mrs. Park" She greets the older woman with a bow but the latter didn't soften her expression.

"What are you doing here?" Jimin's mother asks ready to shut the door in her face and that takes Y/N off-guard and it stings her heart, "I...um...Ji..." Y/N was cut off when a cute voice interrupted their conversation which dragged Y/N's attention as well as Mrs. Park's. "Halmeoni, who are you talking to?" The little girl steps towards her grandmother and then peeks from behind her grandmother's leg when she saw the familiar face of the auntie she met in the park, she smiles widely and immediately rushes to her and hugs her legs.

"Auntie you're here!" the little girl exclaims in utter excitement which instantly lit up her face, Y/N took the little girl in her hands and carried her, "JooEun-nnie you remember me?" The little girl nods her head cutely showing her small sparkly teeth with her eye smile, "Nea Auntie, I remember you, you were the one who played with me that day at the park" the little girl answers, and Y/N smiles at her warmly while Mrs. Park was still in shock about how good is her granddaughter with her. She fake coughs drawing Y/N's attention then she takes JooEun from her arms not so harshly.

"Come in", she says and walks in, Y/N nods and then walks inside following the lady, she takes off her flats and puts on the home slippers then walks inside. After reaching the living room she looks around to find Jimin and his wife. Mrs. Park asks JooEun to go to her room, the little girl agrees and dashes to her room upstairs. Mrs. Park takes her seat on the couch but Y/N just stood there as it was her first time at Jimin's place after years and it wasn't respectful to sit without the elder's permission. Mrs. Park scans her head to toe then speaks in an irritated tone, "How do you know my granddaughter?" She asks glaring at the latter, "We met at a park a few days ago" Y/N answers feeling uncomfortable with her harsh glare and tone she spoke in.

"Then why did you follow her here? Did you know that she is Jimin's daughter? Are you here to get close to Jimin again?" Her questions were hurting Y/N, 'Why did the sweet human turn so bitter, what did I do?' Y/N thought trying to hold back her tears. Just when she was about to open her mouth to say something, they heard a deep strict voice speaking, "What is she doing here?" Jimin's father who just walked in asks glaring holes into the poor girl who was on the verge of breaking down. "She's here to get Jimin back" the mother accuses, "No Mrs. Park, I'm here 'cause Jimin invited me for lunch" she defends herself but they didn't believe her.

"Why would my son invite you when he forgot about you long ago?" the lady asks with a scoff, "Just accept the truth that you're here to get him back, what do you want from him now? He's got a daughter, please leave him alone for the little girl's sake, go and hang out with the guys with whom you cheated on my son" His voice was like spitting venom, Y/N was already trying hard not to cry but his last statement shook her and tears streamed down her cheeks.

"Now please don't create drama and leave this house, we don't wanna see your fake tears and fake excuses, I wish you were never in my son's life" the mother scowled and by then Y/N was sobbing silently but she hurriedly wiped her tears away when you heard the familiar soothing voice from behind.

"Y/n you're here, thanks for coming" Jimin exclaims happily, his smile a proof of how happy he was, Y/N breathes in and out a few times then turns to him with a fake smile, "How could I not come, umm Jimin can you show the restroom please", she asks with a formal smile while he puts his daughter down then shows her the direction to the restroom, she soon walked in that direction and as soon as she got inside the restroom, she locked the door and lets out silent and muffled sobs.

Meanwhile,

"Why did you invite that woman?" the older male asks his son, crossing his arms over his chest, "ahh, I just met her at a park a few days ago when she was playing with JooEun, we didn't have time to catch up on things so I invited her for lunch today" Jimin responds still smiling, "How can you be so naive, can't you see her motives?" the mother asks furiously, Jimin furrows his eyebrows in confusion, his smile turning downward, "What are you saying Eomma?", He asks not getting why they looked mad about him inviting Y/N.

"She wants to get you back, we know how she is, don't fall for her traps son" the father speaks in, "Appa I don't understand why you guys are talking about Y/N like this but I know her more than anyone, so please stay away from this, I already married Mina as you told but now...now she's not here and my daughter needs a mother, if Y/N can be the mother my daughter needs, then I won't hesitate to marry her" Jimin states in a stoic tone having enough of his parents coming in between his happiness.

He not only had to marry a girl he didn't like he even had to give them a grandchild as they threatened him with their lives. On the other hand, his wife wasn't as pure as she appeared, she was cheating on Jimin but she did get pregnant with Jimin's child and maybe it was her karma that she passed away while giving birth to their daughter.

"Y/N can never be a mother to my granddaughter" Jimin's mother raises her voice, Jimin was about to say something but the sound of a doorbell distracts them, Jimin shoots them a small glare then walks towards the main door and opens it and hugs the guest who arrived. "Right on time", Jimin says pulling the man inside, "When am I not?" the latter answers, after sharing a giggle they both walk inside, and as soon as the guest who just arrived sees JooEun, he carries her and spins her around while the child erupts into giggles.

"Googie stop my eyes are spinning" the little girl squeals and the said person stops spinning the little girl and then makes her sit in his lap as he gets seated on the couch. "Jungkook!" The Park couple greets the young man and as soon as Jungkook sees Jimin's parents he stands up placing JooEun beside him and bows to the elders "Hello Eomeoni, Abeonim" the young man bows to them and they smile at the boy.

They all start a conversation while Jimin looks for Y/N as she was taking too long in the restroom, he was worried if everything was fine or not, and after how his parents talked about her, he wondered if they said anything to her. "Hyung, what are you looking for?" Jungkook asks noticing the shorter male zoning out most of the time and looking around. "Nothing...just..." his sentence was cut off by her voice, "Jungkook?" They turn to look at her, Jimin finds her face pale even though she tried to look cheerful he knew something was off and he knew that she cried.

"Y/N?" his exclamation was more like a question, "I didn't know you were gonna come as well, where's your wife?" She asks looking around, hoping to see her best friend. "Why are you here?" his question took her off-guard, she frowned at him, "What do you mean why am I here? I'm the one who's supposed to ask that", she asks back and Jungkook made a confused face but then smiled.

"Ahhh...I get it now, you guys wanted to surprise me, right? Wahhh, I didn't think you guys would really go back just because I asked to" he says smiling wide, Y/N was beyond confused about what he was saying, "Enough now, where's my wifie?" he asks excitedly to see his wife after four days, "What are you saying Kook? I thought she was with you and I thought you guys went to meet your family" she asks back but the man thought she was teasing him.

"Aishh now quit acting Y/n-ah, you're acting pretty realistic but I know she's with you, Where's she?
Is she hiding somewhere?" Jungkook walks past the people in the living room, not listening to Y/N. "Baby? Jen? Jennie boo comes out I know you're here" Jungkook yells and calls for his wife looking around, "Jungkook-ah Jennie isn't here, it's just Y/N" Jimin speaks up but the younger didn't believe him either, "You too hyung, now quit it, I know she's here" Jungkook searches all through the house and goes back to Y/N with a frown.

"Y/n-ah where's Jennie?" He asks who looked at him as if he has grown a second head, "Are you kidding me now Kook? I just asked you where's your wife and you're asking me back about her?" she says resting her hands on her hips, "Of course, she didn't get back that means she must be with you" Jungkook states looking at her with pleading eyes, "No Jungkook, she isn't with me" she says shaking her head, "Where could she go? And why didn't you guys tell me that you guys are coming back early?" Jungkook asks gripping his hair while pacing around.

"I'm sorry what?" Y/N asks utterly confused about what he was talking about, "When did you guys get back from your holiday?" Jungkook asks turning to her, "What holiday?" Y/N asks walking close to him, "the one where you, Jennie, and your other besties went out for" he says with a duh tone with his hands on his hips

"Jungkook, I think you're mistaken, there isn't any holiday, at least I wasn't on one" Y/N explains to him and Jungkook's expression slowly changes into a worried one. "Y/N please don't joke with me, Jennie told me that she was going to have a holiday with you and some of her friends, I didn't allow her, but she convinced me by saying some friends are from other countries so I agreed", Jungkook says holding her hands, "I'm sorry Kook, but I never been to any of such holidays, but wait, what do you mean Jennie went for a holiday, she said she was gonna visit her family with you", Y/N asks even more confused by whatever Jungkook has revealed.

"What?" Jungkook asks almost in a whisper, "Yes, she even took leave for a week, but the next day I happened to give vacation for my staff due to personal reasons, but Jennie didn't even mention anything about our friends or the holiday" Y/N explains her side of the story and now Jungkook was confused, worried, and angry. "When did Jennie apply for the leave?" Jungkook asks wondering why his wife lied to him, "last Monday" Y/N answers, "That's when she left for holiday, where the fuck is she? Why did she lie to me? I'm fucking worried, I shouldn't have let her go" he says, pulling her hair in frustration.

"Kook-ah please calm down, try contacting her and ask what's wrong and Where she is" Y/N suggests, Jungkook nods and immediately takes his phone to call Jennie, Mr&Mrs.Park takes their granddaughter and walks to another room to keep her away from the mess but still they pay attention to what was going on, while Y/N, Jimin and Jungkook take their seat at the living room.

"Out of network coverage again, where the fuck is she where the network isn't available? She's pregnant for God's sake" Jungkook utters in frustration and Y/N widens her eyes at the newfound information. "She's what?" Y/N asks again to make sure she didn't hear anything wrong, "She's pregnant, two months pregnant", Jungkook says, tears streaming down his cheeks. Y/N couldn't believe what she heard, her bestie, with whom she shares all her feelings and who was by her side through thick and thin, has hidden such big news from her.

She shrugged off the stinging feeling, and grabbed her phone to call her, Jungkook looked at Y/N, "Don't bother the call won't even connect" he says disheartened, "It's ringing" she announces happily making Jungkook sit straight, "Put it ok speaker" Jungkook asks and she nods her head before turning on the speaker, after a few more rings Jennie finally accepted the call surprising everyone.

"Yeobuseyo?"

Jungkook was beyond surprised, he gestured to Y/N to ask where she was and she did what he said,

"Jennie-ah where are you? I'm having a bad time and you're not by my side"

"Aygooo Baby, I'm sorry but I'm with my family as one of my cousins is sick, but what's wrong"

Y/N and Jungkook exchanged glances then she continued to speak

"It's not something to talk about over the phone call, when are you going back?"

"Maybe in two days, I'll be at work on Monday"

"Oooh...I happened to bump into Jungkook today so I thought you were back"

"J... Jungkook? You talked to him?"

She stuttered and sounded nervous

"Aniyo, I just saw him, he left before I could call him"

"Oooh actually I'm the only one who came, he is busy with his work so he didn't come with me"

Jungkook balled his fists so Y/N decided to end the call,

"OK then, call me when you're back, bye Take care"

"Bye bubs"

With that Y/N hung the call and took a look at Jungkook who was seeming to have mixed emotions, anger, sadness, and fear.

"Why did she lie to me? And how the hell did it connect to you when the call didn't connect to me?" Jungkook yells in anger, "Jungkook relax, I don't understand why she would lie to you either, but about the call, I tried calling her new number not the old one" Y/N clears the situation trying to calm the young man, "What new number?" Jungkook asks with furrowed brows, "Her new number which she's been using for 6 months now" Y/N answers with a confused face not understanding why he was acting as if he has no idea.

"And why don't I know about her new number", Jungkook asks gripping the couch pillow beside him, Y/N started to worry now. "Jungkook if you don't mind me asking, is everything fine between you two?" Jimin spoke first time in a while, Jungkook lifts his head up, tears already forming in his eyes, "Hyung, we are more than happy with each other, and she's pregnant with my child, we even talked to each other yesterday, she told me that she was busy with her friends and the network wasn't good, so she told me to wait until she calls me" Jungkook answers trying not to burst into tears.

"I agree with Jungkook, they have both been the iconic couple since high school, I even saw a hickey last week" Y/N answered to prove that the duo was doing well but she had no idea that the hickey wasn't marked by Jungkook but someone else, Jungkook shook his head to Y/N with wide eyes, "Hi... Hickey? When did you see that?" Jungkook asks glaring at her, "last week the day before she took leave" Y/N answers his question, "But I didn't see anything, are you sure it was a hickey, did you see it right? Cause we didn't...." Jungkook stops in between and the others immediately understood what he was saying, Y/N did notice the hickey but now she wasn't sure what to say.

"Maybe I saw it wrongly, it might be a bruise of hair curler", she says, hoping he won't get the wrong ideas about his wife and her bestie, she knows her bestie. 'She is innocent and wouldn't even think about hurting a fly. I must be wrong, I should have stayed silent instead of putting negative thoughts in Jungkook's mind', Y/N curses herself while Jungkook wasn't in the state to listen to anything, he was shocked and confused about what was happening, as Y/N was about to say something someone cuts your sentence.

"Jungkook-ah don't listen to this cheater, all she says is lies, Jennie would never lie to you, I think she planned something, and Y/N how shameless can you get? Breaking your best friend's relationship, who's pregnant?" Tears started pooling in Y/N's eyes and Jimin stood in front of his mother, "Eomma, what are you saying? You always liked y/n, then what has happened to you now?" Jimin asks frustrated about his mother.

"Thinking that she's innocent and correct for you was my biggest mistake, but gladly Jennie showed us how much of a slut and cheater this girl is bloody slut!" Mrs. Park scoffs at her and that was the last straw, Y/N bursts into tears and runs away from there, Jungkook who was silent till now stood up as soon as he heard his wife's name, Jimin wanted to lecture his mother but his concern for Y/N took over and followed her leaving his mother who was yelling him not to follow her.

"Auntie, may I know what you mean by Jennie showing you what y/n was?" Jungkook asks, already feeling uneasy to know the truth. Mrs. Park heaves a frustrated sigh and then explains everything to Jungkook. Jungkook listens to everything Mrs.Park says and then falls back on the couch. Jungkook knew who Y/N was, and he knows she wasn't the type to cheat on Jimin, being the bestie to Jimin for years Jungkook witnessed what bond Y/N and Jimin shared.

So, it wasn't so hard for him to crack that Jennie made everything up, but what he couldn't crack was why did she do so. Why did she break her bestie's relationship? And why is she lying to him? Jungkook didn't say anything to Mrs.Park as he felt it wasn't his place to say anything about the misunderstanding. He needs a proper explanation from Jennie.

Meanwhile, Y/N kept running not caring about Jimin's yells, she was so broken, and she was tired of hearing people label her as a 'slut', every word Mrs.Park called and said about her came back and hit her like a truck, tears streamed down her cheeks, making her vision blurry. She didn't care and kept running. "Y/N WATCH OUT!" Jimin yells and a loud screeching is heard. "bam" a crash.
