TW: A lot of murder and violence in the last part

Dreykov's POV

The man waits in his chair until Madame B walks into his office. "Hello, how has everything been going?" Madame B smirks cruelly.

"Dahlia Romanova, Sylvia Barton, Chiara Chernova, Darya Volkova, Alice Barnes and even Karina Kozlov all have the potential to graduate, sir. They would be the youngest should they graduate." Madame B says proudly.

"That's wonderful." He says with a smile. "I feel like we should keep an eye on Romanov though. Sure she messes up and is a rebellious child, but she has fire in her. Just like her eldest sister does. Not to mention she is privately training with the Winter Soldier." Madame B says, proud of her prize.

"She is definitely the Red Room's jewel." Dreykov says with a grin. "Dahlia and Natalia. Though Dahlia was always special, no doubt about that. You are dismissed." Dreykov says.

Madame B nods and leaves.

Dani's POV

Dani paces around like a lion in her dorm quietly. The Red Room is doing Graduation ceremonies, but she didn't want to. Natasha had graduated a few days ago and she didn't get why she or her friends were supposed.

The thing she was really scared of wasn't the fighting itself. Each of the graduated girls are giving a hysterectomy. Now Dani didn't plan on having children, but she woke up more, realizing how bad the Red Room truly is.

She knew it was a bad place, but she just didn't know just how bad it could get. It's why she would usually goof off a lot of times. Darya gets annoyed and grabs Dani by the shoulders to stop her friend from walking in circles.

Darya had actually warmed up to the other five girls over time. Sylvia frowns at her best friend "Dani, it's going to be fine. I promise. You're the strongest person I know and if anyone can survive it I know you can." She says softly.

Dani shakes her head. "What about you guys?" She frowns and Karina starts crying. Karina had learned how to speak Russian and managed to keep up with the class, but it scared her that she wasn't the strongest and none of the instructors (other than Grace) liked her. Especially Madame B.

Dani frowns slightly and wraps her arms around the youngest girl in her friend group. "Shh... it's going to be okay, маленький ягненок(little lamb)." She rubs the smaller girls back with a soft smile. Dani had created the nickname.

Darya takes a deep breath. "I did the math in my head and all of us have at least a 70% chance of passing." She reassures.

"That's good at least, Doll." Chiara says with a smirk. Chiara loves to use Darya's nickname in a teasing manner.

Darya rolls her eyes. Meanwhile, Alice was in a handstand and Sylvia tilts her head. "You know that you can get down now, right?" Sylvia says with an amused smile.

Alice shakes her head. "Give me five more minutes."

Sylvia shakes her head in amusement. Dani calms Karina down and Chiara decides to start gossip. "Guys did you hear the rumors about the Winter Soldier and Natalia Romanova?"

Dani tilts her head running her hand through the youngest girl's hair.

Chiara grins. "Apparently they're dating!"

Dani is shocked. She felt her sister would've told her if she was dating James. Dani had learned the soldier real name and decided to refer to him as such, as she realized that he was a victim like her.

"Монстры создают монстров.(Monsters make Monsters)" Grace used to say to Dani. Just like HYDRA did to Bucky, just like Dreykov did to her. She snaps out of her thoughts as Chiara speaks.

"Everyone in the Red Room says 'Куда бы ни пришла осень, за ней последует зима.(Wherever autumn comes, winter will follow.)' That has to be them right?" The blonde girl says excitedly.

Darya rolls her eyes "That could mean anything, Ara. Like if you had common sense in that brain of yours, that's the order of the seasons."

"What do you think Dani?" Ara asks her friend.

"I-I don't know...I kinda want to focus on graduation." She says with a sigh and a frown.

"You're all going to do great. I know it." Sylvia says supportively.

Alice comes up from her handstand "Sisi's right, Madame B hasn't said anything about our friendship."

Dani flinches at the word 'friendship'. There are not supposed to be any friendships in the Red Room. They allow them, only to let you kill them later. This happened to one of Dani friends, Sasha. Sasha used to steal bread for Dani and she ended up killing her.

Yet. Dani thought to herself. At that moment the door bursts open.

"Mäuschen(little Mouse), how are you feeling?" The familiar burnette woman says with a smile.

Dani smiles back softly and hugs the woman she considers her mother back. "Мама!(Mom!)" Dani says happily. The older woman embraces her daughter gently. "I'm nervous... w-what if something goes wrong?...o-or the surgery?..."

Grace frowns slightly. She knew about the surgery as she had been sterilized. Of course she was older when the Red Room got her. A professional ballerina at 16.

Dreykov eventually let her stop being a Black Widow for him and teach the girls ballet. Grace had thought she couldn't have children in her life, until she met Dani, the bright girl that could light up a room with just her smile.

"It will be alright, Mäuschen. You're strong." The wise woman softly spoke. Dani hugs onto Grace tightly. "Good luck." Grace looks at Dani's friends. "To all of you." She lets go of Dani before leaving.

The first task seemed simple, eachother of the girls were lined up. They each had a black target in front of them with some numbers painted in chalky white. On the red tables their names were written in jet black. Dani could see her's was her real name Dahlia Romanova. She hated the name.

Dani isn't a flower, she never was. If she was her petals aren't soft, but like bullets. On the tables were ammo as well as a gun. Madame B's voice could be heard "Attention, today you will all begin your assessments to determine if you graduate or not. Your first assessment is your shooting. Your aim, posture, form and timing will all be assessed. If you want to graduate then you must complete all of your assessments perfectly."

So Dani was right. Easy peasy. For her at least, shooting a gun is hard for a lot of people. Dani closed her eyes and took a deep breath remembering a memory she thought the Red Room had taken away from her.

Natasha smiles holding her arms out. "Come on, sunny. You've got it. Almost there." Baby Dani struggles, but manages to get on her feet and took a step. She then takes another step and finds herself able to walk.

Yelena cheers the tiny redhead on and Dani walks into Natasha's arms with a giggle as Natasha picks her up.

"Yay! You did it!" Yelena says and ruffles her little sister's soft red hair.

Dani could vaguely remember her past. She never understood how or why, but she could. The young girl used it as motivation for whatever challenges lied ahead in the Red Room. It brought a sort of comfort to the child and grounded her. Dani waits patiently for the alarm to sound unlike the other girls who were shivering non-stop or bit their finger nails to the point they bled.

A deep, low and loud sound blares from the speakers and Dani gets right on it, putting the ammo and clicking the safety right off. The girl with blood Red hair then proceeded to shoot all the correct places before running out of bullets.

She then took out the empty round and pushed the new one in a flash. The target turned to a fresh one, any previous markings disappearing. Dani then pulled the safety back, once again before firing in the shoulders, chest, head arms and surprisingly in the eyes. She repeats this before quickly slamming the gun on the table.

Dani then takes a deep breath, the sound of gunshots still ringing in her ears. Most of the girls were still shooting, mainly the younger ones including Karina. Dani fiddles with the dahlia pendent on her necklace.

That's when all went quiet, followed by a loud clicking noises. On the tables were plain, black screens till after a moment scores appeared. Everyone needed at least a 90% to pass, lucky for Dani a 98% in crimson red was all it took to make the girl beam. Madame B scans the room, her eyes those of a hawk. She nods in approval to some, but shakes her head in disapproval at others. Many got the latter.

After the scores were checked everyone was sent to bed. Dani went only one thought on her mind. I need to be better.

Dani and the other girls who were graduating are taken to an elevator. The bottom and the third floor are off limits. On the first floor is the Medical area, where Dani had at one point been brought due to Marissa using the gun the girls were provided with in Target practice to shoot Dani after Madame B praised her over Marissa.

The second floor is the main floor for everything else. Madame B split everyone into groups of 28. Knives were handed to the girl along with two guns. "Come along, girls." Madame B's voice calls. Dani follows the woman down a hallway to a room made entirely up of concrete which had blood stains and bullet holes. She also noticed a table with some weapons in addition to the weapons they were already given. A gun, two batons and a knife.

"When I leave there will be 28 girls in this room. Each of you have been given two guns with 3 bullets in each of them, making 6. You have also been given two knives. If you don't try your hardest, well..then you die. When the door locks and the alarm sounds the second trail will start. You have an hour and the last girl standing will make it to the Black Widow Program. Good luck." Madame B says before leaving.

The door locks and an alarm sounds. Most of the girls go after the extra weapons on the table whilst Dani went for the weakest looking girl. She found one really small one who she pinned to the ground and snapped her head with her hands. The little girl's limp body falls to the ground.

Dani noticed that four other girls had also been taken out. Dani grabs the knife from the table, from where it had fallen. A girl had lunged at Dani with a knife and she bends backwards nearly dodging before rolling out of the way. As she dodged She noticed how the knife caught in her suit slightly, ripping it. She then finds a bar on the ceiling and grabs it. Dani then swung and kicks the girl's face before grabbing her gun and shooting the girl's neck.

Dani walked around and heard a whimper. She turned around a corner and saw none other than Marina who seemed to be having a panic attack. Marina points her gun to Dani and Dani does the same, glaring at her bully. "I-I'm so sorry...I never meant to be mean to you..." Marina takes a deep breath. "I-I only did it to please Marissa, so that maybe she'd actually like me. Turns out I was wrong. She never cared for anyone, but herself." Marina sighs. "I-I don't want to kill anyone. Yes, I'm a coward, but I don't want to kill anyone anymore. I'm sick of it." The other redhead says. Dani frowns slightly, she felt kinda bad for Marina, but feelings will only get her killed. This is about survival.

"Then don't kill me." Dani says flatly and Marina gives a shaky nod. "I'm sorry, Marina, but I'll have to kill you instead."

"Then please just do it, Daniella." The girl cries softly. "I don't want to be a part of this anymore, I hate it."

Dani nods as Marina lowers the gun. She then quickly shoots the other girl and blood splatters the formally dull wall behind. Dani feels thighs around her neck and a knife to her throat. Dani struggles to keep her body upright, but she managed to grab the other girl's hands and move them away from her head. She then snapped the girl's wrist.

Dani grunts and with her hands on the girl's legs she pushes her off her shoulders and onto the floor. She then slams her black boot into the girl's body, breaking the girl's ribcage in the process. She then shoots the girl's head before walking away, leaving the corpse to rot.

Dani saw a girl trying to sneak up on her. She climbed up a bar and tried to click the gun, but was out of bullets. The girl heard and Dani jumps down and pulled the knife out of her sleeve. The other girl tried to shoot, but Dani pulled her knife out and the bullet deflected into her stomach. Dani jumps down and slices the girl's neck open with her knife in one quick move.

Dani noticed a crack in the wooden floor. Dani then spotted a girl, waiting for someone to approach. She quickly shot the girl in the head. Dani drops down and she hears a familiar sound of boots walking above. A girl is about to shoot her, but she uses the former girl's lifeless corpse as a sheild. She then lets go of the corpse and hisses in pain when her leg gets shot. It wasn't too bad luckily.

She finally shoots the girl in the neck, the girl's body falls with a loud thud and Dani sighs knowing people heard that. Her back hit another girl and the two spin around, but Dani is quicker. She hits the girl with the barrel of her own gun. Dani grabs the back of the other girl's head and slams her into her face.

The other girl tried to elbow Dani, but is too weak for it to affect the redhead. She twists her knee and straddles the girl's back. She yanks the girl's hair and slices deep into her neck before letting go and moving on.

"Ten minutes left!"

Madame B's voice rang through the speakers. Dani uses her knife to cut a piece of leather from her suit and tying it around her leg, before moving on. She held her knife.

Someone slashes at her from behind, but she leans back dodging it. Dani then jumps from the side and lands on her shoulders, bringing them both down and cutting the girl's airway.

The girl struggles, but eventually stops breathing. She thinks everything is over, till she sees the girl who had grabbed the batons from earlier smack the girl who had grabbed the gun from the table, knocking her unconscious. She then shot the girl, proving Dani's theory that everyone saved the weapons from the table for last.

Dani had as well noticing that the other two knives got dull, except for the one that remained unused from the table. The girl with the batons shot the unconscious girl in the head before moving to Dani. She had a look of determination in her eyes. That now it was just her and the silly little redhead.

But little did she know that that redhead happened to be the little sister of the best girl in the Red Room. The girl raised the gun at Dani. Dani quickly ducks. Dani lunges forward and tackles the girl to the ground without a second thought. The girl drops the gun in an effort to help herself.

Dani clutches the knife to her throat. This was it. If she killed this girl she would be a Black Widow just like her big sister. The girl hits Dani in the back of the head with one of her batons. Dani drops the knife and the other girl picks it up and flips her over, pinning her about to end it all. Dani finds the baton on the floor and hits the girl's head with it.

Dani stands up and hits the girl with the baton again, turning on the electricity, similar to the one Marissa tried to fight her with previously. The girl kicks the baton out of Dani's hand and runs up to her, pulling her to the ground with her knees. She then stabbed the knife into Dani's shoulder when Dani tried to grab the other baton.

She grabbed the redhead's shoulder and squeezes it, in an attempt to make Dani suffer. She then flips Dani body over and repeatedly punches her, breaking her nose in the process.

Dani weakly grabs the gun with her other hand and shot her stomach. She was pretty happy that she's ambidextrous or that would've been a lot harder. The girl looks surprised to meet her end and falls down. Dani shoots her chest.

She looks around. All the girls were dead. She passed the trails. She's a Black Widow. "Боже мой.(My God.)" The survivor whispers in shock.
