Days go by and Dani is now 5. Natasha had taught the little girl Russian in secret and thankfully she was a quick learner. Dani had also done well in training, despite being only the age most girls would come to the Red Room.

Daniella has also developed a strong hatred toward Marissa and Marina, as they never seemed to like her since the day they met. She had also found out about the Winter Soldier and her big sister training. The Winter Soldier also occasionally trained entire groups.

She is peacefully in her dorm until multiple guards shove 5 other girls in her dorm. "What is happening?" A girl that looked to be around Dani's age with brown hair and brown eyes asks.

"I don't like this." A blonde haired girl with blue eyes and preppy looking asks.

"What is the place?" An older brown haired girl asks, her leg to the back of her head in a stretch. Her hair is messy and unkempt.

"You're all dramatic." Another burnette haired girl states, rolling her eyes. She looked sassy and mature for her age.

A blue eyed girl with brown hair shyly spoke in French, she looked the youngest "Je veux rentrer à la maison.(I want to go home.)" She says says.

"We're in the Red Room. I guess we should all introduce ourselves. My name is Darya Volkova." The smart burnette girl speaks out.

"Chiara Chernova." The blonde preppy girl says with a smile. "Also this place is sooo ugly." She adds. Dani sighs and speaks "Unfortunately we're stuck here."

"Alice Barnes." The girl who's leg is up to her head says. Dani's eyes widen."Barnes? As in James Barnes? From the Howling Commandos?" She tilts her head in curiosity.

Most of her instructors tended to be cruel, but one, Grace Anatova, was kind.

 She had a collection of Captain America trading cards that the woman had collected and would share stories about the second World War, including those of Steve Rogers, Howard Stark, James Barnes, Peggy Carter and the Howling Commandos.

Dani and Natasha had a huge admiration for Steve Rogers and Peggy Carter. Carter because a woman had started SHEILD.

Rogers as he had inspired the two young girls to try to be good, instead of what the Red Room wanted. Grace is the only instructor that went by her name rather than 'Madame' and either an initial or last name.

"Also why are you stretching like that?" The redhead asks Alice in confusion. "I think so...I don't remember exactly. I was really little and mostly cared for by my big sister, Rebecca." She says. "And the stretch is because it was so damn tight and small in that cart." She states with a shrug.

"Sylvia Barton, but most people call me Sisi." The girl that looked to be Dani's age introduced kindly.

"K-Karina... Kozlov.." The shy girl quietly introduced hugging a teddy bear. Dani felt a strong protectiveness over her.

"What about you, Red?" Sylvia asks tilting her head. "Daniella Romanoff, but my big sisters call me 'Dani'." She says with a smile. No one called her those names except for Natasha and Yelena, but she decided to go by it anyway.

The next day

Dani woke up and headed toward her group. Madame B was there with a smirk. She pairs Dani with another girl, who looked terrified.

 "Я буду с тобой помягче, не волнуйся.(I'll go easy on you, don't worry.)" She vows quietly.

The girl throws a sloppy punch, but Dani twists her arm lightly and pulls her foot under the other girl's foot. She puts her foot on top of the girl so that she can't escape unlike the other girls who haven't defeated their partners. Marissa had finished soon after and rolls her eyes. "That girl wasn't even a real opponent." She smiles cruelly.

Marissa started fighting the Dani and eventually pulled out electric batons. Dani got on her rival's shoulders and pulled the other redhead to the floor.

Madame B walks over looking angry. "Что здесь происходит?(What is happening here?)"

"Романов напал на меня.(Romanov assaulted me.)" Marissa lies.

"Я тоже все это видел. Романов обидел мою сестру.(I saw the whole thing as well. Romanov hurt my sister.)" Marina backs up.

Dani just quietly looked at the floor. Madame B could tell the girls are lying and she looks at Dani "Что произошло на самом деле?(What really happened?)"

Dani takes a deep breath "Марисса начала со мной драку. Это оружие она носила с собой.(Marissa started a fight with me. She carried this weapon with her.)" Dani says giving Madame B the electric batons.

Madame B slaps Marina across the cheek and pulls out a whip to which she whips Marissa with. Dani blankly watches this happen. She learned to stop showing emotion even though she is only 5.

Madame B then leaves to the rest of the group and whistles to get everyone's attention, without giving Dani any praise whatsoever. "Зимний Солдат будет тренироваться со всеми вами. Я хочу, чтобы ты попытался удержать его, тот, кто сделает это первым, сможет тренироваться с ним конфиденциально.(The Winter Soldier is going to train with you all. I want you to try and hold him down, whoever does this first gets to train with him privately.)" Gasps were heard around the room. Everyone knew who that was. The Soviet Union's hero. The world's deadliest assassin.

This scared a lot of people. They had to fight the potential deadliest assassin there was. A whistle was heard and a lot of people try to kick the Winter Soldier to the floor, but none succeed. Dani comes in and wraps her legs around his neck tightly in an attempt to make him lose oxygen. The Winter Soldier eventually fails to keep fighting again her grip and Dani pulls him to the ground with her knees leaning towards the right side.

She lets her knees off his neck in a gasp. "Этого достаточно. Вы все уволены.(That's enough. You are all dismissed.)" Dani leaves to her friends. "That was awesome!" Chiara complements. "I mean you fought the Winter Soldier and won!" She continues with a smile. Darya sighs. "Why did you chose to win though? Why would you want to train with him?" She asks raising an eyebrow.

"I-I don't..." Dani says her voice trailing off. "He's dangerous and you're like 5, right? You shouldn't train with him." She states and Dani goes quiet, knowing that she's right. She's just a child and the Winter Soldier is way bigger than she is. She could get crushed.

"I don't know why you just let Marissa and Marina go. If it was me, I would've chopped them up into a million pieces and fed them to my dog Brownie." Alice says, changing the subject. "I feel like that would be food poisoning for your dog." Sylvia chuckles.

Dani turns to Karina who has been quiet the whole time. "You okay?" The redhead tilts her head to which Karina shakes her head. "I um... I-I can't speak Russian.... They'll surely kill me...and the Winter Soldier scared me.." she whispers quietly with tears in her eyes. Dani wipes some of the tears from her cheeks with a smile. "I'm not letting anyone hurt you, okay? And as for the Russian, I'm sure I can teach you." She says with a warm smile.

Dani's heart felt it.

She used to be the weird outcast in the Red Room, but she finally had friends.
