yeah so i had to write a poem for french class on the topic of learning languages in schools and i really like it? so i'm gonna upload it here (in english obviously) because i'm a loser who needs constant validation for the things she does :)

multilingualism is not important

and don't try to convince me that

one should learn other languages

in high school

because in reality

people do not need to learn foreign languages.

it costs too much in school

and no one will ever say

it will be worth it.

improving our world

will be something we never do

forgetting cultural differences

can solve all our problems.

remember that acceptance

does nothing.

creating stereotypes

only proves that

some are better than others

by saying

we don't need diversity.

and we will never agree that

we should preserve different cultures.

we must stop communicating our ideas

and never will we say that

multilingualism is important.
