the art of teasing skywalkers
GENDERBEND
Hanna Solo peeked out from the underside of her ship, watching the kid pace back and forth on the deck, nose deep in a bright orange manual, which was a bit of a strange sight since paper books were so ancient. Datapads were more commonly used.
Smiling to herself, Hanna brushed the grease off her hands and didn't even realize that the oily liquid left a large black smudge across her forehead.
Sliding out from under the Falcon, Hanna made her way towards Lucy, waiting for the young girl to take notice of her presence.
It took a good five minutes before Lucy actually paused and glanced up from her book, her eyes only meeting Hanna's collar bone because of her height.
"Hey kid. You busy?" Hanna asked, all smirk and hands on hips. Lucy blushed profusely, not expecting the Corellian to be so abrupt.
"Um...yeah, a bit. I'm reading this book Master Yoda gave me. Something about Jedi Training." Lucy explained, trying to calm her fluttering heart and not stutter her words.
"A book, huh? That's not something you see everyday." Hanna noted, studying the yellowing, wrinkled pages bound by that annoyingly bright neon orange cover.
"Yeah, I said the same thing. But I think it's kind of neat." Lucy exclaimed, feeling quite prideful to have such an ancient thing in her hands.
"Well why don't you sit down and read it? Your pacing has been making me nervous just watching you. I've got a seat in the Falcon, you know that." Hanna suggested, gesturing to the open ramp.
Lucy blinked at the offer. "I...well thanks Hanna. I guess I should sit down. My legs are a little numb."
Hanna smiled that cute, seductive smile of hers and she drew her arm around Lucy's shoulders. It was then that the young Jedi noticed the long brown and black streak across the other woman's forehead. She suppressed a giggle and Hanna frowned.
"What's so funny?" She asked, narrowing her confused hazel eyes into the mirthful azure ones.
Lucy lost control and burst into laughter, covering her snorts and snickers with her book. "N-Nothing."
Hanna got a mischievous look on her face, awed by Lucy's adorable giggles, and tackled the girl to the floor, relenting with a wave of tickles. "You gonna tell me now? Huh?"
"H-Hanna! S-S-Stop!" Lucy breathed, screaming in laughter. Her book fell from her hand and she held up her arms helplessly to block the Corellian's relentless attack.
"You gonna tell me?" Hanna asked with a smirk, wanting desperately to just press her lips against the younger woman's...to feel every ounce of those full lips...
"Y-You...you have g-grease on y-your forehead!" Lucy conceded, still panting from the unstoppable chuckles.
Hanna blinked, turning beet red from embarrassment. "I do?"
"Yes!" Lucy exclaimed, eyes wide and wondering if Hanna was going to attempt to tickle her again.
Hanna smiled, getting off the girl and helping her to her feet. "Come on, I can't let Chewie run the ship by herself."
Lucy giggled, stooping to pick up her book before following Hanna into the Falcon and helping the other woman take the grease off her forehead.
The soapy washcloth she was using to clean the grease was rather warm, and Lucy paused as Hanna sat on a stool, waiting for Lucy to finish.
"Any day now, kid." Hanna said with a smile and a love-filled gleam in her hazel eyes. Lucy blushed a deep red, continuing to rub the brown grime off the smooth skin.
"Okay. You're good." Lucy said, pulling away the cloth rather hesitantly.
"Awesome." Hanna muttered, rubbing her head self-consciously.
"So...I have to get back to my book now." Lucy said with a bashful look.
Hanna rolled her eyes and grabbed the girl by the shoulders, finally pressing that well-awaited kiss to her lips.
They pulled away after a few moments, breathless.
Lucy collapsed bonelessly onto the stool, her blue eyes wide in surprise.
"If you need me, just holler." Hanna said with a smile before teasingly ruffling the blonde mop of hair on the other girl's head and walking out.
Lucy blinked, staring at her book and then back at the doorway.
"Hanna, wait!" Lucy cried, jumping up and darting after the ex-smuggler.
She wasn't surprised to see Hanna waiting there with her arms crossed. "Just can't get enough of me, can you Skywalker?"
"Just shut up you grease-covered scoundrel." Lucy said, jumping in Hanna's arms and pressing another warm kiss to her companion.
Hanna pulled back, rubbing at her head. "I thought you said it was all gone!"
Lucy blinked and then smirked, grabbing a nearby bucket of engine oil and dipping her hand in, lathering it all over Hanna's face.
Hanna gasped, laughing and cursing at the same time. The two went back and forth until they were both almost coated from head to toe in engine grease.
"I hate you." Hanna breathed with a laugh.
Lucy just giggled. However, a shadow at the ramp caught their attention and they whirled to see no other than Prince Leith standing there with an amused grin on his face.
"I leave you two alone for five minutes." He said with a shake of his head.
Hanna smirked at the prince before grabbing Lucy and ruffling her hair affectionately. "Well I didn't sign up for baby-sitting duty."
"Shut up!" Lucy said, beaming bright before pressing a rather sloppy kiss to Hanna's cheek, having to stand on her tiptoes to do so.
Leith just chuckled. "Well you two have fun." He walked away before pausing, smirking lightly. "But not too much fun!"
He could practically feel Lucy's blush. "Leith!" was screamed from the young Jedi as Hanna just laughed hysterically.
•••
Lucy and Hanna. Cutest wlw this side of the galaxy. And Leith of course...why is it so hard to gender bend Leia's name? I was also thinking Liam, but it didn't seem Star Warsy enough...cause that's an adjective now. XD
Ugh, I found a 1950s skysolo AU yesterday and I'm addicted.
Anyways, voting results are in so I thought I'd post another of these since i've been slacking...oops. XD
*space hugs*
