Fourth of July
George Eacker stood on a stool, one arm crossed over his body and the other held high in the air. "It's not fair!"
"Not fair!" Everyone shouted in agreement.
"Why should the kindergarteners have to have school on the Fourth of July? And why should Alexander Hamilton, a bully, a meany, get to choose when school ends for them?" Eacker yelled.
"I don't choose!" Alexa squeaky voice was nearly washed away in all the commotion. "It's because of all the snow days!"
"Snow days schmow days! Alexander is an idiot!"Thomas Jefferson yelled in agreement. A few people cheered, throwing their hands up.
Hercules stood in the corner, hoping this would all end. He had started this. Well, not this commotion, but the hate alexander phase. When he took a stand and told everyone Alex was a bully, they all began to be mean. And he hated that it was his fault. He hate hate hated it, because he loved Alex. And Alex had forgiven him. "Stop it!" Hercules yelped, but nobody listened.
"We have to stand against him!" George shouted into the group. "So you know what?"
"What?" Everyone yelled back, generally curious what Eacker would do next. He truly was a wild card.
Eacker crossed his arms. "I have a little present for Mr.Hamilton, something I think he'll find quite surproozin!" Eacker snapped his fingers.
Samuel Seabury, who always hated Alex, rushed off and grabbed something from his bag. As he walked back, people tried to peak at what it was. Samuel handed it to Eacker, and Eacker held it high in the air.
Alex gasped, his voice caught in his throat. "No!" He squeaked.
"Philip Hamilton, Alex's stuffed animal, has been ripped by a pair of scissors! And now, maybe we can have some peace and quiet!" Eacker yelled, throwing his hand in the air.
George K. George E. and Samuel all cheered, but everyone else was quiet.
Eliza let out a despaired scream filled with agony. "Philip!" She yelped, falling to her knees. Tears welled in her eyes.
