Alex wrapped his arms around Maria's waist. His stomach rolled over with guilt. He hated this, but he liked Maria. He knew he should just tell Eliza, but he couldn't. He liked Maria. Liked keeping his arm around her waist as they played with their stuffed animals. Maria had one named 'Plup.' That was a yellowish bird and Alex hadn't set it down for an hour.
"Plup is beautiful." Alex murmured.
"I agree." Plup said when Alex squeezed it. Plup had 140 automated sayings that would be said if you squeezed plup.
Alex giggled and Maria wiggled closer to him. "He is beautiful." She cooed. Alex lifted his head and looked at Maria, who was smiling. "That's was I was just saying."
Maria frowned. This boy could NOT take a hint. "Yes. I was agreeing." She said.
"Okay... just making sure you weren't stealing from me. Like an old evil witch."
"I'm not old! Or evil! Or a witch!"Maria exclaimed.

Alex turns towards you. "Hi there! What's your name?" He shakes your hand. "It's nice to meet you! My friend, @hamiltots loves it when you comment, vote and read their other stories!
