Alex wrapped his arms around Aaron. "It'll be okay." He whispered. Aaron's cat, Theodosia had died earlier that day and the Preschool wa shaving a funeral for him.
"She didn't deserve it." Aaron murmured, his voice breaking. He was on the verge of tears.
"It really is alright." Alex pat his friends shoulder.
"Aaron?" Mr.Miranda asked. "Would you like to say some words."
Aaron walked to the front of the room."Theo was the best cat ever. She was sweet and soft and slept next to my ear. She was tiny and best of all? She knew how to pick up a sock and bring it o me. Granted, it was just one sock. This sock." Aaron handed a sock to Mr.Miranda.
Mr.Miranda muttered something "I am not throwing away my socks."
"Pardon?" Aaron said.
"Sorry." Mr.Miranda blushed.
"So I would like to give her this up in heaven. Thank you Theo. For bringing me my sock. I just wish you could've done it once more." Aaron choked slightly.

"Why wasn't Mr.Washington in today?"Aaron asked Alex.
"He had a lot of meetings so he can adopt me." Alex beamed as he said that.
"He's not dumb, had I gotten the chance I'd adopt you too!" Mr.Miranda said sweetly. His longish black hair getting easily swept up into a ponytail, his smile never leaving his face.
Alex grinned at the mans words.

"Alex!!!" Eliza kissed Alex's cheek."How's Phil?"
Eliza had lost her PHILIP stuffed animal and the two had decided to share Alex's. Alex kissed Eliza's cheek too. "Really good!! He was fed and he had a nape so he's ready to play. The boys and I were going to take him out for some juice boxes, cheering Aaron up and such...but if you wanna-"
"I think he should stay here. I'll invite Angelica and her stuffed animal chicken hei-hei over." Eliza smiled at Alex.
"Perfect! See you tomorrow!" Alex walked out the door of the school.
