Cabinet Battle #1
Thomas glared at the boy that had taken his orange juice. He had o have low quality orange juice at a higher price thanks to him.
Alex grinned and walked to his friends. They all seemed a little preoccupied with something. Alex followed their gaze. It landed upon a boy in pink. Alex knew him from somewhere. Sure, he looked a lot like Laf, but something was familiar. "Who is that?" Alex asked.
"Thomas Jefferson." Herc said, in an unhappy voice.
"Whom?" Alex didn't know the name.
"He was in France the past few months. He used to come here." Laf said this in a very strong accent, especially France, making it sound like 'FROANESsss'.
"He's mean!" Peggy cried out. Herc pat her arm.
"I won't let him hurt you." Herc said, squeezing her tight.
"He isn't that bad!" Burr protested.
"That's because he makes you mac'n'cheese when you go to his house! You love the Mac!" Eliza poked holes in Butt's statement.
(Burr? @ autocorrect?)
"What'd he do?" Alex asked.
"He- he pushed me down! And stole my lollipop!" Peggy was close to tears.
"Shhh..." Herc kissed her forehead.
"And my toy! He said girls couldn't play with toys." Eliza's nostrils flared.
"Oh." Alex frowned. Then he walked over to Thomas. "Thomas." Alex said.
"Alex." Thomas had asked James what the boys name was.
"You are a meanie poo!" Alex hissed.
Thomas reacted. "I did nothing to you!"
"You hurt my friends." Alex gestured to the group of kids watching the two boys.
"Well- you're a- a juice-stealer!" Thomas yelled. The whole class gasped. What kind of insult?
"Wah?" Alex was confused now.
Thomas balled his hands into fists. Alex didn't even remember. "I was at the grocery store and you stole my juice. I was going to get it but you took it from me!"
The class gasped again. Juice was a prized possession in this school.
"Alex?" Eliza's voice was weak and smalll. "Is this true?"
"No! He lies!" Alex shouted. But the class wasn't so sure. Thomas was many things, but a liar, he was not. The class glanced away from Alex. "I didn't steal anyone's juice!" The desperate sound of his voice made it sound even more like a lie.
"Nobody believes you." Thomas snarled. "Nobody will ever trust you again."
