Hello peasants! I see you're reading about me. Yes, I am indeed a very interesting topic. But you must know this story is ever so dreadful! Hmm.. Let's see. Where will I start? How about the day I met her? That seems reasonable.

~~~
I was doing kingly business that was very important... Okay. I was saying how much the American revolution people suck. Which is entirely true. How do I know? I'm the king! Of course, I know. I am the wisest and.... Right. The story.
I looked out my balcony and saw people walking down the streets. Ah! Look at these peasants! So poor and-- Hang on! Who is that gorgeous woman?!
That's where I saw her. She had h/l h/s hair that was tied back in to a pony tail. She wore a simple f/c dress, but, my God, she looked amazing in it.  I've never seen this girl before. Then again, I've never seen that much poor people before.
I just had to talk to her. She had this connection that breaks the bounderies of poor peasant people and highly kings like me. It's like she-- How do I know? I told you, reader! I am the wisest and the most amazing... Right. The story.
I ran down my castle as fast I could, pushing guards and servants as I went. I ran through a garden and into the streets. I scanned the crowd, looking for the girl.
People parted a small path for me to cross. Then I saw her. She walked into a tailor shop and I ran after her. I looked into the shop windows to see the girl talking to a man. They weren't together. I can tell. I am the... Right.
I walked in. A bell rang, signaling my arrival. The girl and the man stopped their conversation. She turned to me and smiled. Oh! That smile! It could make even the saddest man the happiest.
She curtsied and the man bowed respectfully. "Good day, my King." She said in a light accent.
"Yes yes. Good day, isn't it?" I replied, smiling. "I couldn't help but notice how beautiful you are, miss."
She blushed. "Thank you, my Lord." She replied.
"You are?" I asked.
"Y/n. Y/n L/n, sir." She said politely.
"Would you like to join me for dinner, miss L/n?" I invited.
"I would be honored, my King." She replied and curtsied again.
"I'll see you tonight then." I said and left the room.
I wore my best clothes which was hard since everything I wear is the best.
I had the chefs make a extravagant meal, even if it's just the two of us. I had them prepare something special just for beautiful Miss Y/n.
"E-excuse me, Sire." One of my servants stuttered.
"Yes?" I asked.
"S-she's here, y-your majesty." He stuttered.
"Well, bring her in." I commanded.
He gulped and scurried away. I impatiently tapped on the table. Y/n walked in looking as dazzling as ever. I stood up and extended my arms.
"Miss L/n. Welcome!" I bellowed.
She curtsied. "Thank you, Your Highness." She said.
"Ever so humble." I said. I walked up to her and held her hand. "Come sit by me."
I dragged her to the seats. I sat down and she seated herself next to me. I smiled as the servants brought trays of delicious foods.
We talked about a lot of things. Things like how the British economy was going, how many soldiers I've got, how amazing I am. I know, it is difficult to talk about how amazing I am.
She asked a lot of questions. She seemed so curious with our military. She even took down notes. She also didn't eat much.
We talked a lot. She told me she ran away from her family in France. She said her mother and father died so she had to live with a stepmom or something. I wasn't really paying attention. I got lost in her e/c eyes.
"So, Y/n, will I be staying?" I asked with hope filling my voice.
"Staying?"
"Here. I-In London." I said.
"I'd love to but.." She looked down at her lap. "I kinda have to leave."
She lost her accent. I stared at her and she looked up with tears in her eyes.
"I-I'm sorry." She said. "I... lied to you."
"You didn't do anything--"
"You wouldn't understand." She said, standing up. "I should go."
"Don't!" I said desperately. "Stay!"
"I-I can't." She said. "Look, I tought you were an ass but you're actually really... really cool. But..."
"You can tell me anything!" I said.
"I-I... I can't..."
"Why not?"
"You won't trust me."
"Why wouldn't I? I mean.. I just met you but.. I think you're really... really cool."
"No." She said with more tears flowing down her face. "I can't..."
"What? Is it somehing I did?"
"I'm... a.."
"You're a what?"
"American spy."
My heart clenched. She was a spy. That's why she asked about all those things. That's why she was so nervous. She was a spy.
"I-I.. wh-what?"
"Yeah...."
"That doesn't change the way I think about you."
She hesitated. She looked away and just ran away. I called for her but nothing. She didn't come back.
A couple of years later, we lost the war thanks to Y/n's information.
~~~

That's it. My love broke my heart. She broke my heart.

And I will never love again.

~~~
A/n: when you realize the title of the book says Hanilton. Not changing that :D
Thanks to FellinnaJanez for the Lafayete drawings. And I'm sorry for this being.... 3 months late? 4 months late?
