-The Schyuler Sisters-
[BURR]
There's nothing rich folks love more
Than going downtown and slummin' it with the poor
Everyone raised an eyebrow and looked at Burr.
“That’s a bold statement to make there, Burr.” Angelica scowled. Burr put his hands up in defence.
“I didn’t say that, the actor did.”
They pull up in their carriages and gawk
The sister scoffed, that wasn’t true. Was it?
At the students in the common
Just to watch them talk
Take Philip Schuyler: the man is loaded
The sisters all smiled at their father’s mention.
“Our dad!” Eliza smiled
Uh-oh, but little does he know that
His daughters, Peggy, Angelica, Eliza
Sneak into the city just to watch all the guys at—
“Ha, you guys are a bit mischievous, aren't you?” Madison raised an eyebrow, to which Peggy, Angelica and Eliza just chucked
[COMPANY]
Work, work!
[ANGELICA]
Angelica!
Angelica looked thrilled at her name.
[COMPANY]
Work, work!
[ELIZA]
Eliza!
Eliza gave an exhilarated look at her sisters and her husband and put a hand around all of them.
[PEGGY]
And Peggy!
Nearly everyone busted out laughing.
“Of course I get the best line in the musical.” Peggy cackled. She then got a light punch in the arm from Angelica. “Hey!”

Daddy said to be home by sundown
Peggy gasped “A-am I the obedient one? I thought that this was supposed to be accurate!”
[ANGELICA]
Daddy doesn't need to know
[PEGGY]
Daddy said not to go downtown
[ELIZA]
Like I said, you're free to go
"Okay, now it is getting too unrealistic. I mean Liza' being a troublemaker? Wow!" Angelica exaggerated
[ANGELICA]
But—look around, look around the
Revolution's happening in New York
"Ayyyy!" The revolutionaries cheered
[ELIZA/PEGGY]
New York

It's bad enough daddy wants to go to war
[ELIZA]
People shouting in the square
Lafayette thought for a bit.
"...wait…"
"What is it, Gilbert?"
"Isn't this-" He got cut off
"Oh yeah..." Alexander also seemed to remember what happened.
"It's that day…" John added
"What are you guys talking about?"
It will explain later -a note said
[PEGGY]
It's bad enough there'll be violence on our shore
[ANGELICA]
New ideas in the air
[ANGELICA AND MALE ENSEMBLE]
Look around, look around—
[ELIZA]
Angelica, remind me what we're looking for…
[ALL MEN]
She's lookin' for me!
The girls burst out laughing.
"Ha! Yeah right." Eliza sneered "I am sorry but unfortunately for you, I have already found the love of my life." She gestured at Alexander, who blushed.
[ANGELICA & COMPANY]
Eliza, I'm lookin' for a mind at work (Work, work)
I'm lookin' for a mind at work! (Work, work)
I'm lookin' for a mind at work! (Work, work)
Whooaaaaa!
[ELIZA/ANGELICA/PEGGY with COMPANY]
Whooaaaaa!
Work!
[BURR]
Wooh!
Burr just felt all the eyes on him. He knew that he was coming, and he was dreading the reactions he would receive.
There's nothin' like summer in the city
Someone in a rush next to someone lookin' pretty
Angelica scoffed at what Burr said. Meanwhile, Alexander, John, Lafayette and Hercules all bursted out laughing. Burr just wanted to sink into his chair and die.
Excuse me, miss, I know it's not funny
But your perfume smells like your daddy's got money
Lafayette rolled his eyes, "Mon Dieu Burr, et je pensais que j'étais mauvais pour flirter!"
Why you slummin' in the city in your fancy heels
You searchin for an urchin who can give you ideals?
Angelica's eye twitched as she turned to Burr. Peggy was dying of laughter by choking on her own spit. And Eliza was worried about the both of them.
Even Washington started to chuckle at the scene.
[ANGELICA]
Burr, you disgust me
In between laughing, Alexander started to feel bad for Burr because of all the teasing but that guilt was soon drowned away due to Angelica's line making him burst out laughing again.
[BURR]
Ah, so you've discussed me
I'm a trust fund, baby, you can trust me!
"I am sorry, I am so sorry." Burr repeated over and over again
[ANGELICA]
I've been reading Common Sense by Thomas Paine
"You've got good taste." Alex commented looking at Angelica
So men say that I'm intense or I'm insane
"That's because you are."
Angelica gave a death glare towards Madison. Madison raised his hands in defense.
"I meant it in a good way!"
You want a revolution?
"Yes!" Came from multiple voices across the room. Washington just sighed.
I want a revelation
"Of what?" Hercules asked, raising an eyebrow, genuinely curious. Angelica gave back a quick answer, "Of what people think of the revolution. Why do we need it?"
This left a few of the soldiers speechless. Alexander was about to retaliate back with an answer, but a quick glare from Laurens told him to shut up.
So listen to my declaration:
[ELIZA/ANGELICA/PEGGY]
“We hold these truths to be self-evident
That all men are created equal”
Jefferson perked up at the words, and was about to speak up, saying, "That's my declaration," but a jab to the side from Madison made him bite his tongue.
The rest of the audience, however, were grinning at the sight of the sisters on stage doing hand movements to go along with the words spoken. It was a small thing, no less, yet it showed how in sync the sisters are.
[ANGELICA]
And when I meet Thomas Jefferson
The said man perked up once again.
[COMPANY]
Unh!
[ANGELICA]
I'm ‘a compel him to include women in the sequel!
Angelica turned around to face Jefferson. "So. Would you?" she asked.
Jefferson slightly tilted his head, thinking about the offer thoroughly. Picking his words carefully as to not to offend the woman, he replied, "If time will let me."
Angelica was slightly startled by his answer, fully expecting him to refuse it, but she gave Jefferson a small nod and a satisfied smile before turning back to the stage.
Another note appeared:
Women are allowed to vote, get jobs, and don't have to get married or have children. And those who do want husbands are able to get married to whomever they want to.
All the sisters smiled widely at each other.
[Women]

"I didn't, I only have one line."
"It's ok Peggy, your actor plays someone else, so your actor may have more lines."
