Career
Jon is an actor, singer, choreographer, and dancer. He has been a part of many productions and projects some of which including Hands on a Hardbody, In The Heights Off-Broadway, Bring It On The Musical.

Acting
In 2010, Jon starred in The Elaborate Entrance of Chad Deity being the stand by for the leading role.

He played the roles of Sonny and Graffiti Pete as well as Usnavi from In The Heights. He worked with the show when it was an Off-Broadway production in 2007, and then made his debut on Broadway in 2008.

A few years later in 2011, Jon created the role of Twig in the world premier of Bring It On The Musical. For his performance, Jon was nominated for Best Featured Actor in a Musical by the Atlanta Theater Fan Awards. Not only did he play a role in the musical, but helped with the choreography as well.

The same year, 2011, Jon was a part of a play called Somewhere. He was nominated for the Craig Noel Award Nominee "Outstanding Leading Performance in a Play, Male" for his performance of the character Alejandro.

In Hands On A Hardbody, he originated the role of Jesus Pena. The show was nominated for the 2013 Tonys for Best Score.

Jon starred in a movie called Fall to Rise, playing the role of Magic, in 2014. He was apart of another show, Kung Fu, where Jon played various roles such as Matthew, Fung Fung, and Barry.

He began starring in the Off-Broadway production of Hamilton at the Public Theater in 2015, leading up to the Broadway production.

Choreographing
Jon is also known for his dancing. He has dance for artists such as Phish, Mariah Carey, and Don Omar. Due to his many times working with these artists and being an excellent choreographer, he was a finalist for the Capezio A.C.E. Awards For Choreographic Excellence.

He has assisted on choreographing several projects, which include many of the productions he has starred in.
