Early Life
Anthony grew up in Bushwick, Brooklyn. In high school, he planned to go on and be a coach for baseball after college due to having the highest batting average on his team.

He started to lose his love for the sport and mistakenly starred in his school's musical, thinking it was a talent show. After that experience, with the guidance of teachers, he decided to pursue it professionally.

Education
He graduated from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy's music theater program in the spring of 2011.

Career
Some of his theatre credits include Grease as Sonny in the Surflight Theatre in 2011, In The Heights as Sonny/Usnavi in the Pioneer Theatre Company in 2012, 21 Chump Street, and of course Hamilton starting in 2015.
