You're a mortal and you've always had a great family life. You were walking with your mother one day and found a dog/cat in a car and they looked like they were going to die of the heat.

The two of you worked together and quickly dog the animal out before taking them home and nursing them back to health. You asked if you could keep them, and your parents talked. Next thing you knew, you had a pet. You decided to name them {Crush Name}.

When you were a bit older, you noticed {Crush Name} was acting weird. Suddenly, a handsome/beautiful young man/woman was before you and had ears, a tail, and even a small set of abnormally pointy and/or shape canines.

They smiled. "Finally! You have no idea how long I've been wanting to speak with you."

You've always liked animals and they've always liked you. You've always had a special connection with them.

You had a dog/cat named {Crush Name} and unfortunately they had to be put down. Another cat/dog came up to you one day and you kept them, they didn't have a tag or anything. Eventually they were put down as well.

{Crush Name} was given multiple different lives and helped different people. In one of their other lives, they didn't have good owners and so {Crush Name} ran away. They made it a goal to find you, and after a few weeks they did.

You found a man/woman at your doorstep. They had ears, a tail, and set of especially sharp canines, remaining you of a cat or dog. You first instinct was to run...annnnnd that's exactly what you did. They shifted and quickly took off after you, soon enough cornering you. "Wait! Let me explain, I know this is a lot to take in, Y/N."
