I AM SO SORRY MY FRIEND SUGGESTED IT AGAIN I AM EXTREMLEY SORRY GUYS

Alexander and Eliza Hamilton have been through a lot together. Hatred, regret, betrayal, and mourning. Finally, life seemed to get better for them.

"Alex! I'm heading to the doctors for my check-up!" Eliza yelled through the halls. Then Alex came into view, a 4 year old boy at hand.

"Bye Alex! Bye Philip!" Eliza called, and soon she was out the door

At the doctor's office, the nurse did their normal checkup. But something was off

"Mrs. Hamilton? We're just going to run a few more tests, ok?"

"Uh, ok..." Eliza replied, confused

When the tests were over, the nurse came into the room with papers. She didn't look too happy

"Mrs. Hamilton? I have some bad news. It seems you have a spark of lung cancer" she said

"What?! " Eliza replied, fear flooding into her

"It's not severe, dear. As long as you don't run or do much physical activity, you should be ok" the nurse assured

"Ok... th-thank you" Eliza whispered

"Of course, dear. Get better soon!" the nurse responded, and walked out of the door

"How am I supposed to tell the boys..." Eliza muttered

Time Skip--- two years later

"Come on, Mommy! Run with us!" 6 year old Philip yelled

"Yeah Mommy!" Alex said in the same voice, grabbing his wife's hands

"No, guys. Seriously, I can't" Eliza said, and tried to sit back down.

"Nope! Not this time you're getting out of this!" Philip said, and started to push her back while Alex pulled her hands forward

"Guys, stop it!" Eliza shrieked. The boys laughed, thinking it was a game

Then, they started running, bringing Eliza along with them

Eliza kept yelling to stop, but the boys didn't. They thought she was joking. Eliza couldn't take her hands out of her husband's grasp, and she struggled to keep up. After all, she hasn't ran in about 2 years!

Eliza started to have a hard time breathing, and she started to gasp louder. But again, her boys thought she was being funny and overreacting.

But then she finally slipped her hands out of Alex's grasp, and she crumpled to the floor, taking loud and struggled gasps, and holding onto her chest tightly.

"Haha, very funny Eliza" Alex said. But she didn't stop breathing like that

"Eliza?"

"Hospital...now..." Eliza breathed

Alex started to panic

"What? Why?!" he exclaimed, bending down to her side

"Go...now" Eliza whispered, and passed out in his lap

So he brought her to the hospital

"DOES ANYBODY KNOW WHAT'S WRONG WITH HER?!" Alex exclaimed for the fifth time. Then a nurse came over

"You don't know what's wrong?" she asked

"No! Please tell me!" Alex sighed, exasperated.

"She was diagnosed with lung cancer...about two years ago I think. I told her not to do any physical activity. Did she?"

Alex's eyes widened. "Um, she ran...but she didn't want to, it was my fault" he said

"Did she never tell you?" the nurse asked

"...No" Alex admitted, tears forming at the tip of his eyes

"I'm sorry, sir" she said, and walked away

Eliza was in the hospital for a week, and Alex wasn't allowed to see her at all. Today was the first day he could see his wife 

He slowly opened the door, Philip at hand. A doctor was there

"Hello?" Alex asked. The doctor's head whipped around, while Eliza's turned slowly. She was pale, and her face looked very hollow

"Mr. Hamilton?" the doctor asked

"Yes, that's me" Alex responded

"Sir, there's something you should know..." the doctor said. 

"Ok..."

"Your wife...her cancer increased dramatically. It's too much for her to handle..." the doctor started

"No..." Alex mumbled. He squeezed Philip's hand

"Alex..." Eliza whispered. Alex ran up to her and cupped her face in his hand. "Alex... I'm gonna die..."

"No...you cant...not yet..."

"Let me say bye to Philip, please" Eliza whimpered. Alex nodded and lifted Philip onto the bed

"Hey, Mommy!" Philip exclaimed, and both parent's hearts broke

"Hey baby. Mommy's going away, ok?" Eliza said

"How long?" he asked

"A... a very long time. Ok baby?" she whimpered, tears stinging her eyes

"I'll miss you! I'll make you...a cake when you come back home!" the 6 year old exclaimed

"Thank you, honey. I love you so, so very much" Eliza said

"I love you too Mommy!"

Alex took the child off his mother's lap. Then he came into view

"Eliza...you can't... I'm so sorry, this is all my fault-" Alex tried

"-No Alexander, it's mine. If I told you about my lung cancer, this wouldn't have happened. Don't blame yourself" Eliza confided

"But...why didn't you tell me?" Alex whispered

"Because...because I didn't want to scare you...and it was small, so I didn't want to put another thing on our bad list" she admitted

Eliza, I love you with all of my heart, ok? You'll be in a better place, and you won't have to suffer anymore. I'm so sorry..." Alex kept whispering

"I'm sorry, Alexander. Just move on, remarry, have more kids, a=have a better life. You deserve it" Eliza said

"No, I will never get over you. I will always stay loyal to you, my love" Alex said

"Sir-" the doctor interrupted. "I'm very sorry, but you have to wrap things up" he said

Alex bent down and kissed Eliza deeply, and for a long time

"I'll wait for you" Eliza whispered. "My love, take your time. I'll see you on the other side"

"I love you, Elizabeth Schuyler Hamilton. I will never forget you"

"I love you too, both of you, so so much. Goodbye"

"Goodbye, Eliza" Alex whispered and closed the door. He then leaned back on it, and fell down on the floor slowly, crying

"What will I do whithout you?" he muttered, held his son, and cried for a long time, taking it in

Alex found a way to contact almost everyone that his wife knew, and created a funeral for her

Over the years, he and Philip promised to keep her memory alive.

And even on his deathbed, with his son, daughter in law, and two grandchildren, he still had high hoped

"I will never forget you" Alex whispered, as he felt the air being sucked from his body
