"ARE YOU SERIOUS!?" Eliza yelled, throwing a book at her boyfriend.

"Eliza, I'm sorry-" Thomas started

"OH DON'T YOU DARE  GO THERE! YOU KNOW ABOUT MY PAST, AND YOU GO AND DO IT ANYWAY! HOW COULD YOU?!" Eliza yelled, tears starting to spill out of her eyes.

"Eliza, please-"

"DON'T GIVE ME THE "Eliza, please..." CRAP! FIRST, ALEXANDER CHEATED ON ME WITH MARIA, AND NOW YOU CHEAT ON ME WITH JAMES?! WHAT THE FUCK, THOMAS!" 

Thomas's heart broke. "I'm sorry, I didn't want to!" he raised his voice, trying to stay calm

"Sure you didn't want to. That's what Alexander said to me, and look where he is now! HE'S ENGAGED TO THE WOMAN HE CHEATED ON ME WITH!" Eliza yelled again.

"ELIZABETH PLEASE! JUST FUCKING LISTEN!" Thomas yelled, getting angry

"NO! YOU LISTEN! YOU LITTLE PIECE OF FUCKING SHIT! YOU ASSHOLE! I THOUGHT I COULD TRUST YOU!"

"YOU CAN!" 

"NO, I OBVIOUSLY CAN'T! IF YOU DIDN'T CHEAT ON ME, THAN YOU MIGHT HAVE A LEG TO STAND ON! BUT NOT ANYMORE! THAT SHIP HAS SAILED, THOMAS!" Eliza screamed, tears spilling out of her eyes

"ELIZABETH SCHUYLER FUCKING LISTEN TO ME NOW!" Thomas yelled, and smacked her across the face. She stumbled and fell on her back. She looked up and pushed herself against a wall, shaking. It was then when Thomas realized what he actually did. 

"Eliza, I'm so sorry-" he whispered, walking towards her. She squealed and hugged herself.

"I'm not going to hurt you" Thomas said, and bent down to her level, offering his hand. Eliza looked at it and slapped it away. She got herself up.

"Thomas, just, why would you do it?" she asked. Before he could answer, she started talking again.

"Thomas, you say you're not going to hurt me, but in five minutes,  you hurt me in many different ways. Physically and emotionally. And on the conterary, I don't want to be involved with anything that has to do with you" Eliza said as she grabbed anything important to her

"Eliza please..."

"Elizabeth. It's Elizabeth. I'm going to Peggy's, and I'm sending a text to Angelica to come back to New York" Eliza said, and grabbed the door handle

"Eliza- er, Elizabeth. Please!" Thomas begged. "I can't live without you!"

"You did just fine before, and I gladly can live without you. Goodbye, Thomas" she said

And then, she was out the door.

Thomas realized he made a huge mistake.
