I was on the edge of the bridge. It was a cold day, i felt like today was the day to end it all.

Im out of my mind.

I want to live.

Then why am i here?
I don't even like my life.
Im worthless to everyone...

"Sir, are you alright?" I turn my head towards the person who said that.

He was wearing a hoodie and black pants. His hair at his shoulders.

"No." I say looking him in the eyes. "Not at all."

He walks up to me. "Sir, please don't jump. I don't know your life, but don't do it. You only have one life. Live it to the fullest instead of ending it. Yeah, im trying to stop you, but you can jump. Im stopping you, but you can always refrain and do it anyways. Like i said, i don't know your life. But please, think it over before its to late. Believe me, i know..." He said rambling, with teary eyes.

I look down.

Its a 14 story drop.

I look back at the stranger.

He smiles at me sadly.

I take a deep breath.

I get down, and i hug him.

"Thanks. I didn't want to do it. I was scared and just thanks for that..." I wasn't making any sense, but i could see he knew what i meant.

We walked away from the edge of the bridge.

i look back at the edge.
