I heard of this AU. It's not mine, of course.

Alex POV

"Hey Hamil~ton! Seen Daddy Washington? You look like you need your diaper changed!" I feel my lip tremble. "Awwww, what's wrong? Gonna cry?" 

No. No. I'm not gonna cry. No. No. No. 

"I hope he doesn't leave you like your real daddy did."

I feel tears stream down my face. My hand clutching my quill shakes with repressed emotion. I want to scream at him. But instead-tears fucking come out!

You know what?! WHO FUCKING CARES?! Let them fall! I'll cry, all I want to! 

He gasps. "Oh, shit. Hamilton, I'm sorry. I'm so sorr-"

I clench my fists and stand up as tall as I can, only reaching his stomach. "Sh-shut up! I'll cry all i fucking want to! I don't need anyone to be my daddy! I've been getting along without one pretty well since mine left when I was *10!" I kick him in the shin and stalk off down the hall to my study to write and let off some steam. But instead, I hear a whoop. Laurens comes up and slides an arm around my shoulders. "You're a boss. You didn't even seem scared of him. That's my baby girl." 

A French accent says, "There's your spirit. I wanted to kick him in the shin myself. Merci, mon ami." I smile a little as I sit in my study on my chair. 

Herc comes up and starts braiding my hair. "You kicked his ass. Never underestimate the lil guys. They can hurt you." 

I smile, true and so Hamilton-like. I'm glad I have such great friends.

I start to cry out of gratitude.
