Personality : Essie is sweet. She'll do just about anything you ask her and has a pretty sunny attitude. But mess with someone she loves, you aren't safe.

Backstory : Essie was born on June 11th, 1788. She was only five when her mother died and she constantly asked her father about her mother. As a child, she spent a lot of time with her older sister, Theodosia. She was most definitely a daddy's girl as a child. When Theodosia got married, Essie somewhat envied her husband but when she had her nephew a year later she spent a lot more time there. 

Essie was noted to have a talent in painting and Burr thought that this would maybe be a potential career for her. But that all hit the fan in January of 1813. Theodosia had been lost at sea and once Essie received the news, she broke down. She locked herself in her room, refusing to make contact with anyone or even eat.

Essie eventually died of starvation on February 22nd, 1813. She had died right in front of her father. Essie was only twenty-four years old at the time.
