Alex's POV, 3 days after the fight.

I haven't gotten any response from John, I just hope he's alright... I'm at lunch with Lafayette and Milligan and we're talking about the fight and how to get back at Jefferson and Madison. Jefferson got a detention for what he did but he didn't care. We need to do something worse so he can learn his lesson. The teachers haven't done their typical stuff because of the fight. Which gives us time to think about, and try to help John. At the end of the day, I'm sitting in the library and Eliza and her sisters walk in and Eliza walks over to me. "Alexander... are you alright?" She puts her hands on my shoulders. I nod and sit back. "Yeah, I'm just worried about John." I sigh. "Me too, I hope he's okay..." she sits next to me and puts her hand on my leg. "Jefferson's a jerk. Why? What was his purpose to upset John? Entertainment?!?" I start to raise my voice before Eliza hugs me. I fall silent in her arms. "He'll be okay..." she slightly smiles. "I hope so..." I look at Eliza's hand. After a few minutes, we all go home. After I get home, I go to my room and curl up in my bed. I look at my phone:

Me: Hey, buddy, you okay?

Monday 2:52 pm
Me: John?

Monday 3:00 pm
Me: Buddy, are you alright?

Monday 4:05 pm
Me: John... I'm getting really worried... Say something!

...
...

...wow... I really hope he's okay... Suddenly, I hear my phone go off. It's a text, from John.

John: Hey Alex...

Me: John! Are you okay?

John: I've been better...

Me: Yeah... the group's been plotting revenge on... 'that guy'.

John: Let me know how that goes... I won't be back until mid next week.

Me: Oh... I'll get your work for you. Why haven't you talked to me?

John: I didn't want to... Sorry...

Me: Can I come to your house this weekend so we can talk?

John: Sure....

Me: Alright see you then.

John: Okay... Bye buddy...

Well, at least he's alive. That's good.

Eliza's POV

"C'mon Lisa! Ask him out already!!!" Peggy nudges me and jumps around. "Peggy, cut it out!" I whine. She goes through my stuff and finds my diary. "Do it, or else!" She smirks. "Okay, okay!" I grab my phone and start texting Alexander.

Me: Hey!

Alex: Hey

Me: What's up?

Alex: I just talked to John, he's sad, but he's okay.

Me: That's good!

Alex: Yeah, I'm so relieved.

Me: me too.

Alex: So, what did you wanna talk about?

Me: Oh right. Um, do you wanna maybe wanna go out to dinner sometime?

Alex: Like a date?

Me: Yeah, something like that...

Alex: Sure! Does tomorrow work, after school?

Me: That works!

I squeal out loud. "He said yes, right?" Peggy walks closer to me. "YES!!!" I smile excitedly. The rest of the day goes by and nothing really happens, except my date with Alexander growing getting closer every second!
