It was summer now, and all Alexander wanted to do was hang out with his friends. But he'd ruined that, hadn't he? His pen signed the apology letter he was finished writing, A. Ham. This one was for Eliza.

He'd spent half of the day writing it, the other half writing one for Maria. He wasn't asking for her back. He didn't deserve her. He was simply asking for forgiveness. Some would say begging, but he was too prideful to say that.

A knock made him sigh and get to his feet. He opened the door, expecting to see John coming to get the change of clothes he forgot. But it wasn't John. In fact, it was no one that he would've expected at all. "Maria?"

"Yeah. Don't look so surprised. I, along with everyone except Eliza, have come to a conclusion."

"And that conclusion is?"

"That we don't hate you. In fact, we forgive you for being a moron. Luckily for you." She awkwardly sat down on John's bed.

"Thanks," Alexander said. "I don't deserve it."

Maria snorted. "H*ll, no, you don't. But we're ignoring that. You're a pretty good guy at heart. Though, you still have to sway Liza."

"I would expect that."

They sat there awkwardly before asked spoke back up. "I'm sorry for being a a**hole. I should've done something about James."

"You should've, yeah. But what's done is done. Eliza is the most forgiving person that I know. She'll eventually forgive you. Just give her time."

-Three months later-

Alexander felt a tap on his shoulder. He turned around to see Eliza standing there, her arms crossed.

"Alex."

"Eliza! What are you doing here?"

"I came to talk to you."

"About what?"

"You know what about. I forgive you. I'm not getting back with you, at least not yet. But I've forgiven you. Don't make that be a stupid decision."

"I'll try."

"You'd better. Now, the rest of us are going to see a movie. You wanna come?"

"Yeah! Yeah, sure!" He said, much too quickly.

Eliza laughed. "C'mon then, hotshot."

And together, Eliza and Alex walked to the movie theater to meet their friends.
