Elizabeth Schuyler walked to school with two of her sisters, Angelica and Peggy.

"I can't believe I'm starting high school!" Peggy said. "With both of you! It's been a long time since I went to the same school as you, Angie. It's more recently been Eliza."

"No kidding," Angelica said. Angelica was a senior now, and Eliza was a junior.

The girls had several brothers and sisters, but they were closest to each other. They walked into the school, going to their lockers, which were next to each other.

Angelica whistled. "Look at him."

A group of boys were at the lockers next to theirs. Eliza recognized three of them. Aaron Burr, Hercules Mulligan, and Lafayette. She didn't recognize the other two. They looked about her age. But one was the most good-looking guy she'd seen in a while. Seeing her sister's face, Eliza grabbed Angelica's arm. "Yo, this one's mine."

Angelica walked over to them and started talking. Eliza got a nervous. 'What's she gonna do?' Angelica took her by the arm. 'I'm through.' She met eyes with the boy, and got butterflies in her stomach as his gorgeous eyes gripped hers.

Angelica lead the boy over to her sisters. "Where are you taking me?" The boy asked.

Angelica smiled at him. "I'm about to change your life."

"Then by all means, lead the way."

When they arrived, Eliza stuck out her hand. "Elizabeth Schuyler."

"Schuyler?" He asked, shaking her head.

"My sister," Angelica explained.

"Alexander Hamilton." The boy introduced himself. "But you can call me Alex."

There was a loud 'pop!'. They turned their heads in the direction of a girl in black tank top, covered with a red off-the shoulder crop top, a pair of ripped red jeans, and black combat boots. She was chewing bubblegum.

"Who's that?" The other new boy asked. He, along with the others, had joined the Schuyler and Alexander.

"Your sister?" Alex asked, looking towards the Schuyler sisters.

Angelica laughed. "Nope. She's just Peggy's doppelgänger. They look almost exactly alike, but we're not related to her at all. No one can really explain it."

"What's her name?"

"That is one Miss Maria Lewis."

A group of boys walked up to Maria. "Who's that?" The other new boy asked again.

"John Laurens!" Alexander snapped playfully. "How dare you steal my question?"

Lafayette answered their question. "That, mon amies, is James Madison, Thomas Jefferson, and James Reynolds. Yeah, yeah. Two Jameses? James Madison just goes by Madison and James Reynolds goes by James. Easy not to mix them up."

The three boys walked towards them, James pulling Maria along. "Hey, newbies!" Thomas called. "You don't wanna hang out with them! They're losers!"

"Thanks guys," Aaron replied sarcastically.

"Except for Burr. He's cool. Don't get why he hangs out with them."

"Because they're my friends too, Jefferson."

"If you say so."

James' phone buzzed. "Oh, sh**. I gotta go. Family problems. C'mon, Maria." He grabbed her arm and dragged her off behind her. Their friends walked off down the hall.

"So is Maria his girlfriend?" John asked.

"Yep," Hercules replied. "They've been dating since seventh grade. Though James has cheated on her more than once. They might have an open relationship, but I've never seen Maria dating someone else. But she knows that he's seen other people. Honestly, no one knows what's going on in that relationship."

"Doesn't sound healthy," Alexander said.

"It's probably not." Angelica said. "But they're still together. Probably will get married once Maria turns eighteen in about a year and a half. He'll probably stop cheating then. Hopefully."

The bell rang and they all scattered off to class.
