Yet another update today. Heh. Whelp, this one's short, but I hope you don't mind 😁

Eliza sat on the bottom bunk of the bunk bed she shared with Angelica. Angelica was on the top bunk, and Peggy was across the room on her loft bed, which had her art stuff under it. The room was set up in sections. Peggy's side had her artwork and clippings from articles about spies. Angelica had a bunch of feminist posters and whatnot. Eliza had a few watercolor paintings that Peggy had made her, and some pressed flowers.

There was a faint crash from downstairs and crying. It sounded like their littlest brother, Arthur (A/N I totally made that up, I feel I can take some artistic liberties) had knocked a vase over and broke it. There was more crying from Mary Ann, and once she started, baby Catherine started.

Angelica cringed. "God, I'm glad I'm not downstairs. Anyway, Lizzy, have you asked Alex out yet?"

Eliza turned red. "Could you drop it? I've only known the guy for a week."

"But you're crazy about him. If you don't make a move, I will."

"Ok, ok." Suddenly, her phone buzzed. She looked down at it. It was a text from Alex. She opened it.

'Eliza, I know that this might be awkward, but there's something about you that I just can't get over. You are gorgeous inside and out. My heart hurts with longing whenever I look upon you, and butterflies form in my stomach. No longer will I hide my feelings for you from you. I can only hope that you return my feelings as I do not know what I would do if you didn't. Answer me honestly, would you like to be more than friends?'

Eliza gasped, her stomach churning. She couldn't believe it, was this just some sick prank? Or were her sisters right?

She took a deep breath and replied. 'Alex, when I saw you, my heart went 'boom'. I would love to be more than friends.'

'So you're my girlfriend now?'

'And you're my boyfriend. 😁'

'See you tomorrow, Lizzy. 😁😉'

'Right back atcha.' Eliza squealed.

"What?" Angelica commanded.

"Yeah, give us the scoop, sis!" Peggy exclaimed.

"Alex just asked me to be his girlfriend!"

"And what did you say, girl?" Angelica asked.

"Yes, of course."

"YAASSS!!!" Peggy crowed. "Hamliza has officially set sail!"

"You guys have a ship name for us? Really?"

"Yep!" Angelica said.

Eliza laughed, happier than she'd been in a long time.
