Chapter 3
Erin had long since left the pub, and the "Revolutionary Set" were sitting around a table ladened with empty cups. The group was unsure if all the glasses even belonged to them.
"I may not live to see our glory," Alexandra sighed. "But I will gladly join the fight."
Lafayette smiled from where she was leaning on Helena.
"And when our children tell our story," she said. "They'll tell the story of tonight."
"Let's have another round tonight," Helena said, laying an arm around Lafayette's shoulders.
"Raise a glass to freedom," Joan chimed in. "Something they can never take away, no matter what they tell you." She smiled at her friends. "Raise a glass to the four of us."
"Tomorrow there'll be more of us," Helena said.
"Telling the story of tonight," Lafayette finished.
The four sat for a moment in silence, just enjoying being in each other's presence. Joan looked ready to nod off, while both Lafayette and Helena seemed to become more absorbed in the other as the night dragged on. Finally, Alexandra stood.
"I'm going to head out," she said. Joan stood up and hugged her goodbye. Helena and Lafayette both gave a nod and Alexandra headed out into the night.
She walked for a little while, taking the long way back to her current abode. She let the fresh air wash over her.
Alexandra decided she liked New York City. If she had any say in the matter, she would live and die here.
That however, might not be the case. Alexandra remembered her bold statements of earlier about fighting a war for freedom.
Alexandra almost mentally smacked herself, before realizing it did no good.
She was going to fight in the war if it ever happened.
Alexandra just didn't know when to keep her mouth shut.

Tech Week
Brenna straightened her costume, and stepped out of the dressing room she shared with Paula.
Oh, Paula.
They had been working together for over three months now, and Brenna had developed a pretty serious crush on the frizzy-haired dork. Sharing a dressing room did nothing to stem the growing infatuation.
Brenna walked onto the stage, finding Lin pouring over his notes.
"You nervous?" She asked. Lin looked startled before smiling.
"If I wasn't I'd be crazy," he chuckled. Brenna nodded. The director called for everyone to go to their places. Brenna watched for backstage as Kendra took center stage.
"How does a bastard, orphan, daughter of a whore..."
Brenna let Alexandra Hamilton sweep through her. She saw Paula throw her a wink just before she stepped out.
"Alexandra Hamilton. My name is Alexandra Hamilton. And there's a million things I haven't done. Just you wait. Just you wait," she sang. Jon and Renee(who played Washington) did their parts as everyone else did their blocking.
They finally got to the part where everyone stood on the balconies.
"We fought with her," Paula and Quinn said together.
"Me, I died for her," Lillian said.
"Me, I trusted her," Renee said.
"Me? I loved her," Jon, Daveed, and Anthony said together. Brenna had to stuff down a snicker at that. Both Jon and Brenna were gay, and Anthony had a thing for Jasmine.
"And me?" Kendra said. "I'm the damn fool that shot her."
The company finally ended the number and moved on to "Erin Burr, Ma'am" and "My Shot."
During the small break they were given during Intermission, Brenna sighed and smiled.
She was with her family. She was home.
