So, I have way too many books going on right now, but this was a really good idea *flips hair* so we're doing this (nUmBeR nInE). I based it on a Christmas oneshot in my oneshot book. It begins New Years 2019, and I'm not including discussions of current events in this. Really, it could be any year that has the technology mentioned in the chapters. A bit of backstory for each character:

Promise Eve-Washington

Pronouns: She/Her

Sexuality: Pansexual

Age at the start of the story: 18

Birthday: December 20

She's adopted, but she's still in contact with her birth parents. The Washingtons, her parents, are glad that her biological parents (we'll call them Auntie and Uncle) respect that they gave up the right to parent her, and that the Washingtons are her parents. They act as a kind of aunt and uncle to Promise. She's had a crush on Lafayette, her brother's friend, since she was 13 (they're 3 years older, so they were 16). She's a lot less innocent than she looks and acts.

Alexander Hamilton-Washington

Pronouns: He/Him

Sexuality: Bisexual

Age at the start of the story: 20

Birthday: Somewhere in October

Not as lucky as Promise, he was orphaned when his mother died in a hurricane, his father having left years ago. The Washingtons took him in, and he's grateful. He is 21 when the story begins. His boyfriend, Thomas Jefferson, is not approved of by his parents, because all Washingtons hate Jeffersons, plus George sees the trouble he gets into. He works as an intern at The Economist (I'm sorry, I had to.)

George Washington

Pronouns: He/Him

Age at the start of the story: 40

Sexuality: He says he's Martha-sexual, so no one really knows, but rumors spiral every once in a while about him and the George at the rival England College, which used to own King's College.

Married to Martha, he's a professor at King's College, Alex's college. He adopted Alex and Promise and offered to take in Laf, but the giant fortune they inherited when their parents died allowed them to pay for their grandmother to fly from France to take care of them. 

Thomas Jefferson

Pronouns: He/him

Sexuality: bisexual, emphasis on the sexual part (he's a horny little fuck)

Age at the start of the story: 21

Alexander's boyfriend/rival, they argue in the day and fuck at night, as he likes to explain to confused debate members. He's super handsome and everyone's constantly throwing themselves at him. He's from Virginia and his family has lifelong beef with the Washingtons and the extended Washingtons. He's majoring in politics and engineering, and he wants to be an inventor. As was said before, he's got an insanely high sex drive. He has a hair pulling kink, which Alex was delighted to discover. He doesn't have a job at the moment, since his family is loaded and pays for everything (maxing Dad's credit card- okay bye *Do You Wanna Build A Snowman starts playing*).

The Hamilsquad

Lafayette: 20, pansexual, genderfluid but tends to lean towards the masculine side (They/them), French, rich because their parents were rich but then died and left all of it to them, loves France and French stuff, models for Hercules sometimes, just takes whatever job strikes their fancy

Hercules Mulligan: 20, bisexual, he/him, from Oklahoma, has a big and loving family, clothing designer with semi-popular clothing line

John Laurens: 20, gay, he/him, from South Carolina, loves art and turtles, alcoholic dad and dead mom, several siblings, graphic designer/nature artist

They all go to King's College. They're all friends of the Washingtons, too. Laf used to come over to the Washingtons' normal house and do random gardening stuff for them, such as mowing the lawn. Promise always happened to be reading a book at the window when they did. John doesn't talk about his dad much, but is in the King's art program. 

Promise Girls (they named themselves to rival the Hamilsquad)

Angie: 20, straight, she/her, women's rights activist/professional stuntwoman/professional stunt-skier, born and raised in New York, bold, fierce, awesome 

Eliza: 19, pansexual, she/her, loves blue and the beach, bookworm, bakes for a living, born and raised in New York, very sweet but gets tiger-mom-ish if you attack her friends, Asian woman with feminine hips (okay I'll stop now)

Peggy: 18, lesbian, she/her, loves yellow, very bright and happy and raunchy, has a puppy, aspiring video game designer, born and raised in New York, runs a successful gaming YouTube channel

Emmaline: 18, lesbian, she/her, loves all musicals and Percy Jackson, born in Nevada and moved to California, runs a successful commentary YouTube channel 

Emmaline, Peggy and Promise go to Philips Academy, in Andover, Massachusetts (it's a real school, a very nice one too). Angelica and Eliza go to a fancy upstate college in New York, and their father doesn't like them and Peggy going downtown to see the Hamilsquad, but they do it anyway.

So! That was a lot, but you can come back here to refer to it and I'll also re-explain some stuff as well in case you forget. Hope you enjoy this year of Hamilton-ness! Promise isn't based off me (finally a non-me OC) but Emmaline is a mix of me and my friend. Mostly my friend.

Small note: So sorry, I'd forgotten that Laf was genderfluid and I'd used he/him to describe him; they'll use he/him with people when they're just getting to know them, but for the most part it's they/them. I'm so sorry that I forgot to do that.
