Pippa's pov
I walked into the theatre pretty pumped, which is pretty normal. When I reached my dressing room I saw Daveed and Emmy looking extremely tired.

"Hey, guys... You ok?" they shook their head no, "We found out that our sitter hit on both Me and Daveed over the weekend... We didn't realize how much she helped us... I'm so tired" she was close to tears.

I wordlessly went and sat next to her and pulled her into a big hug. "Where's Aim?" she sighed as she pulled away from the hug. "With Daveed's mom but she can't sit for us all the time. We need a sitter or a Nanny so bad..."

"Did you consider asking Ren for help? You know she somehow always has the answers" I wasn't wrong, Ren always had an answer no matter what you asked her.

"No... Dammit, I'll ask her when she comes... For now? I need a nap" I nod and leave to go and chill in Jazzy's dressing room.

~~~~Time Skip to when Ren is at the theatre and Em is awake~~~~

"Renee! Oh, thank the Lord you're here!" Renee looked at me completely terrified cause this was definitely not normal, I chuckled as Ren slowly walked over to Emmy.

"What's wrong Em... I'm a little scared that's all"

"Sorry... It's just that with the show and with Aimee it's so hard to get sleep or even sit for some time. Please tell me you know a sitter"

Renee laughed "Oh I remember that feeling but I do not miss it" Emmy just gave her a look which didn't make Ren stop.

"Come on just tell me" she pulled me making her sound so desperate for help. "Ok ok, I have a friend, the family he sat for left the country so now he's doing small jobs everywhere. He's free and good".

"Wait free free?!" she chuckled and nodded. "Well, for the most part, you don't need to pay him, he's a stay at home Nanny and allowance is all he needs to have a little life of his own." (This is how my aunt's nanny is paid so I'm not really sure it works for other people)

"That's freakin perfect! Can I please have his number???"

"Well, yea... That's why I told you about it..." she handed the number as I chuckled.

~~~~Time skip to when Lin is hired~~~~

Emmy called us home so we could meet Lin and talk. Renee was excited to see Lin cause she hadn't seen him in a while.

I was just excited to meet Aim cause she was an absolute ball of sunshine. Aimee wasn't a very social 2 year old, she was very picky with the people she hung out with. So when Emmy said that she really liked Lin, it made me curious to see how he was.

I asked Ren to pick me up cause I didn't have a ride, I got in her car and noticed she bought coffee for 4. Daveed was not gonna be there cause he was out with Oak and Rafa, so I could only assume the fourth cup was for Lin.

I think I fell asleep the entire ride cause when I woke up she was parking her car in front of Emmy's building.

"Didn't get much sleep last night?" I shook my head no. "Got new neighbors... Adorable couple. Terribly loud in bed." she was trying to hold in a laugh as hard as she could.

I rolled my eyes at her as we made our way to her apartment. I knocked on the door super excited to see Aimee.

The door flung open revealing a very... Sleepy Emmy. Did she forget we were coming?

"Sorry guys I forgot to set my alar-" she cut herself off with a yawn. Both of us laughed and walked inside, "Where is the little monster?" Renee kept the coffees on the table and looked around a bit.

"Oh, are they not home? He probably took her to the park then."

"Wow Em, it's amazing how absent minded you are" I chuckled, she pouted a bit. We talked for another minute before she went to freshen up.

The door opened and both me and Renee were watching as Aim walked in trying to take her coat off. It was hard so she asked Lin who was still behind the door so I couldn't see his face.

"Win can you pwease hewp me?" he walked in properly and closed the door before turning to her and saying "Of course I can, especially since you used the special word!" he smiled at her.

He was very... How'd you say? Uhm... He's attractive that's what he is. Why are his eyes so shiny?

I watched him as he gently unbuttoned her jacket and hung it up. He did the same for himself after which Aimee finally saw us.

"Aunt Pippyyy, Aunt Renren" she giggled as she ran towards us.

"Hey Aim!! I missed you so much" I picked her up and kissed her face all over. Ren did the same after which Aimee ran into her room.

"Nee... Haven't seen you in a while" he smiled and went to hug her. "Yea it's been a hot minute" she laughed, he seemed nice, no wonder Aimee liked him... I mean just look at him.

They talked a bit before I coughed to get their attention, "Right, this is Phillipa, she's basically my sister."

"Hi, I'm Lin" he smiles at me and reaches out to shake my hand. My cheeks just might have flushed a bit as I shook his hand, he had this very gentle feel to him.

Renee looked at me with a smirk as he excused himself when Aimee called him.

"You like him.." I look at her with wide eyes, "No I don't" I frown at her. "Sureee..." Emmy walked in and Renee was quick to mention our stupid exchange.

"She likes Lin" Ren whispered and then laughed. Emmy grinned and before they could talk complete and utter trash about me I changed the topic.

~~~~Time skip to when the whole cast knows Lin (1 month later)~~~~

"Come on Win! Try and catch me!"

Lin scurried after Aim as she ran across the theatre, "Mija please I don't have so much energy..." he said as he stopped running and started panting instead.

"Wow, you seem like you're really out of shape.." I chuckled as I watch him pant with his hands over his bent knees. "Uhm... it's my baby fat, I'm in great shape!" He grinned standing up straight before coughing.

"Sure sounds like it..." I smirked at him, "I just need some water! My throat is dry!" He slightly yelled cause I started to walk away.

I was still in earshot, "Win, can you pwease stop being old and chase me?" I turned around to watch this. "Ay Mija..." he let out a tired sigh, I couldn't help but laugh at that.

~~~~Time skip to like later~~~~ (I'm not sure if there are tornadoes in NY but for this chapter there is...)

There was a tornado warning so we all had to stay inside, luckily it was only a rehearsal day so there were no other people other than the cast, Aimee and Lin.

I'm not going to lie, I'm really glad that Lin came the time he did cause he was fun to be around... and I like him. If any of the girls find out that I admitted it, I think I would die.

We were all in the theatre basement, it was warm and sticky, not the best conditions but it's as safe as we can get. We were lucky there was a washroom down here, hopefully, nobody clogs it cause we don't know when we can leave.

Aim was scared so she stuck to her parents, not letting them out of her sight. Everyone was scared, bored, and hot, we needed something to distract ourselves with so I called Renee over.

"We need something to distract everyone, I mean our morale is way down right now." She nodded and then grinned as she thought of something, "Truth or dare... truth or dare everyone!". Oh lord no, I hate this game, it reveals secrets and puts you out of your comfort zone.

Everyone was on board with the idea and I think with all the fear Aim fell asleep. So that means this game is about to get dirty.

As the game went on, the questions and dares got questionable... mine were still ok though.

When the bottle landed on me again I got a bit tired of picking truth so I chose dare. I knew I messed up when Renee made eye contact with Emmy and Jazzy, smirking she suggested "How about seven minutes in heaven... with Lin".

Everyone agreed with the dare and Lin had pink cheeks as we made eye contact which made me blush, but that didn't stop me from scowling at Ren. As I got up I heard Renee whisper "You'll thank me later" I rolled my eyes and walked to the washroom with Lin following me.

The door locked behind us, the fluorescent light illuminating our faces, we stared at each other before a pungent smell hit my nose. From the looks of it, it got to Lin too, "Lord that is strong!" His face cringed, "Who came in here before us!?".

"Anthony..." We both said in disappointment, my face relaxed with a smile and he chuckled. This tiny laugh lead to us leaning into each other, my heart started to beat rapidly, I think I even started sweating. I could feel his hot breath on mine but it was interrupted with a tiny knock, fuck whoever knocked... "Aunt Pippy? Uncle Win? Pwease come out I need to go potty", damn didn't expect it to be Aim, the mood was definitely ruined... (GotchaNose  called Aimee a cockblocker😂)

Lin moved back a bit and smiled awkwardly, "Uhm we should... yea" he walked to the door and tried to open it, he was visibly struggling. "I can't open it... it's locked!" He told me in panic, his breath quickening by the second.

"Renee the door is locked! Stop fu-" I remembered that Aimee was awake "-messing with us!" I watched as the handle moved vigorously.

"Pip trust me, we didn't do anything.." she didn't sound like she was acting so I believed her, when I looked back I saw Lin on the floor hyperventilating, looking into oblivion. I rushed to him and made him look at me, "Hey... what's happening?" He looked at me for a second before looking back at the floor, his breath not slowing down.

I think of things that could help but nothing useful came to mind. I let my mind work for itself, my hand placed itself on his knee slowly rubbing it, I started to whisper affirmations into his ear. His eyes were not leaving my hand that was rubbing his knee. I don't know what I was doing but it was working, his breathing slowed down and he was not shaking as much.

"What was that...?" he looked at me still catching his breath, "Panic attack...".

"Oh. Does this happen often?" he shook his head, "Not really, just when I get overwhelmed" I nodded not knowing exactly what to say.

After about another 10 minutes he was calm, relaxed against the wall. "Thank you ." he looked at me and smiled, I smiled back "I know you didn't know what was happening to me and it means a lot that you even tried...".

"Hey, it's no problem... I like this" his expression showed confusion. "You like what exactly?" I noticed our fingers were interlocked, I lifted it up "This..".

He grinned when he saw it too, "oh I thought you meant that you liked watching me get a panic attack" in no way was that fun "oh lord no, that scared me".

We shared a laugh for that, which lead us to lean in again. It was exactly the same as the first time we leaned in but this time our lips actually touched.

The taste of his lips was gonna be something I will never forget, our lips softly moved against each other, his hand cupped my cheek. Which might have lead us to make out...

"Hey, guys look what I- OH NO" the door closed. We pulled away, eyes wide. Did Anthony just see us... Nothing good is gonna come out of this.

We both stood up, but Ren has already opened the door with a grin, obviously, Anthony told on us.

"so all you guys needed was some alone time" she smirked, I rolled my eyes at her.

We started to walk out but Lin pulled me back after Renee left. "I hope that kiss wasn't a one-time thing... Cause I really like you" on the inside I'm smiling like an idiot but I wanted to look seductive for what I was about to say.

"Don't worry I'll make sure it isn't our last kiss..." I bit my lip and walked to the door, but I stopped "oh and I like you too.", after which I continued walking out.

I could just picture his goofy smile as I said that, and as much as I want to see that smile, I wanted to look hard to get...
