Parineeti's pov

I felt someone shaking me. I opened my eyes and saw it was varun.

" Wake up the plane has landed" I looked around and saw every one was going to the exit. I got up. I slung the messenger bag on my shoulder. 

He took his back pack and was following behind. We were getting our luggages when the intercom blasted.
' the flight to Manchester has been delayed to 8 pm"

"Oh shit!"

"Oh awesome!"  We said in the same time. I turned at him.

"What? If you came to paris and didn't explore it, what's the use coming here?"

" and just imagine, you're telling your grandchildrens about your adventures  with a stranger in paris" he added, with a dreamy look on his face but I had an irrtated look.

" yeah keyword: stranger" I said with a blank face.

" Come on live a little" he bumped his shoulder with mine,I had a scowl on my face by now.

" Okay"

" Yippee" he started dragging me by the arm.

" Wait wait" he stopped and turned around.

" What? "

" What about the luggages? " I said pointing at the luggages.

" Let's leave them in the waiting room"  I nodded. We left  our luggages in the waiting room. As soon as we were out of the airport. He yelled to the sky

"BEWARE PARIS WE THE INDIA WAALES ARE COMING!!" I couldn't help but laugh.

" So where do we go first?" He said while stuffing his hands in the pockets of his jeans.

" Umm I don't know......There's a really old church nearby we could go there"

"Really?  A church?" I glared at him.

" okay okay lets go " I put his hands up on defence.

When we reached the church , no one was there, except a candle store.

"I told you we shouldn't have came here, this place is haunted" he whispered. 

"This place isn't haunted , it's monday and 11 am , everyone is probably working"

"Whatever you say , I am still sticking with my idea." I rolled my eyes at him.

" okay whatever floats your boat." I went to the candle store.

" Aye don't leave me alone" he came running to the candle store.

" Give me two candles please" I said to the man. He handed me two candles.

" How much?"

" 1 euro" I nodded my head I searched for 1 euro in my bag when a hand gave it to the man.

" I don't let the ladies pay the bill" he winked at me making me chuckle.

" Here" handing him one candle and keeping one for myself.

" No I don't need it." H shook his head.

" Varun" I said in a threatening tone.

" Take it" he groaned but took it anyway. I smiled at him.

Varun's pov

You can say I am not really religious type of guy. I mean people always go to god for asking something.  And moreover I've got everything , so even if I go to god for asking something that would be plain greedy.

"Come on"

We walked inside there was not one single soul there, it was really creepy and was freaking me out a little.

" Parineeti? "

"Hmm"

" I think we should get out"

"Varun, I will hit you in the head if you speak another rubbish" she said looking, scratched that glaring at me. I kept mum. She lit her candle placed on the bench ahead. She joined her hands together and closed her eyes . I was staring at her. She looked so pretty,  her face was glowing  in the sunlight. I also lit the candle and placed it on the bench.

She opened her eyes.

"You done?" She asked me.

"Umm you go, I am coming. " I said scratching my head.

"Okay" she shrugged and walked away.

"Um hey jesus what's up....shit sorry , you know the girl , the one who was praying right now? Yeah that one. Whatever she asked , please grant it, she's a really nice girl. Okay? Okay, bye." I know that was stupid thing to do but there's no one to say it was stupid right?

" God what were you doing there for so long" she asked.

" Umm nothing lets go, I am hungry"

"Yeah me too"

We walked into a french restaurant. I looked at the menu, my face turned pale. It was all in french,  I looked at parineeti , she was reflecting my expression.  Suddenly a idea popped into my mind.

" Aye parineeti? "

"Yeah"

"How 'bout we order a random dish and see what it is, that would be so funny" I was grinning.

" No"

"C'mon"

"No"

" Please"

"I said no"

"Request"

"Ugghh fine"

We both ordered totally random and weird sounding dish and now was waiting for it.

"I am excited!" I said.

"I am scared" she said . I let out laugh. Our dish finally came. Mine was a banana cake with creame cheese frosting and her was something with shells. To be honest I was enjoying my dish.

" Eat it. You might like it" I said , trying to light up her mood. She was glaring at me. She took a small portion and hesitating before putting it into her mouth.

"Just do it" I was trying to encourage her. She ate it. Her face turned blue. She quickly grabbed a napkin and spit that shell thing out. I bursted out laughing. She was fuming. But I kept laughing, god it was soooooo funny. She grabbed my hand and started pulling me to the exit.

"My caaakkkkeeee" I whined.

"If I can't eat , you can't eat tooo" she said while glaring at me.

" okay atleast let me pay the bill" the waiter came with the bill.

" Ugghh fine"

"So what now?"

"Now , we need to find a decent place to eat." We kept walking for 5 minutes , until I heard a scream

"What happend?" I panicked.

"There's a pizza hut" she queal.

"That it?"

"God I have never been sjo happy to see a pizza hut" she said.

" Come on, the rats are running marathon in here" she said pointing at her stomache.  I chuckled.

"I'll have a chicken barbecue pizza , you?" She said.

"Same here."

"2 chicken barbecue pizzas and 2 mountain dews" she said to the counter.

" It'll be there in a few minutes."

-skip time-

-Parineeti's pov

"That was a awesome pizza wasn't it" I nodded my head.

" So where should we go now?"

"Umm according to the map, we could go to this muesuem or that amusement park, both are nearby." I said looking at the map.

" I think we should go check out the mu-" I was cut off my him.

"AMUSEMENT PARK IT IS"  he started marching to left direction.

" Oye hero it's in that direction" I pointed at the right direction.

"RIGHT DIRECTION IT IS" he said going right direction. I shook my head and followed him. We reached there in 2 minutes. 

" Woah" he said.

"I wanna go to the ferris wheel."

"Then let's go"

"We're now officially on top of the world"

"The city is soo beautiful. "

"Hmmm  look there's eiffel tower"

"Woah its soo pretty"

We got off the ferriswheel and rode into many other rides until we were tired.

" Hey pari?"

" Yeah?" I said while taking a bite of my cotton candy.

" after today, what will happen to our story?" I turned to him.

" What story? "

"Our story"

"We don't have a story"

"Of course we have"

"Really? "

"Yup, every moment we spent together is a story"

"Hmm that means our story ends here"

"I don't want it to end" by now we were making eye contact. He was leaning in and I felt myself lean too. Our lips were inches apart. His warm minty breathe was tickling my lips. Slowly the gap between was closed. His lips were moving in sync with mine. Then realization hit me. What am I doing? I took a few step back.

" Pari-" before he could finish I slapped him and stormed off.
