"Where were you?" Meehu asks me, with her hand on her either side of her slender waist.

"I was with Varun." I said while trying to hide my blush. Her scowl turned in grin.

"What did you guys do?" She exclaimed and started giggling. I couldn't help but laugh at her expression. Her grin again turned into a scowl.

"Done?" She asks. I nod my head, controlling my laughter.

"So what happened?" She asked.

"I proposed him!" I blurted out.

"OMG! YOU WHAT?" She asked in surprise and then again started jumping up and down.

"I am so happy for you! Pari!" Meehu pulls me into a big bear hug which I gladly returned.

"You proposed Varun?" Comes a new male voice. We both pulled out to see Akash bhaiya.

"Yup!" I said to him.

"But how do you know?" Meehu butts in.

"Woh..I was behind the door..so..I heard everything." Bhaiya explains and meehu scowls at bhai.

"That's called eavesdropping dumbo! You were eavesdropping on us?" Meehu yells at bhai.

"I was eavesdropping on my sister's conversation! Who are you to say anything?" Bhai retorted.

"Well you are sister was having that conversation with me! He best friend!" Meehu shot back.

"Uff Pari! I don't like your best friend! Change her!" Bhai said to me. I heard meehu gasp. She pushed bhai to come face to face with him.

"I don't like you!" Meehu said to bhai. And then turned to me.

"Change your bhai!" She said. Hearing this bro started chuckle.

"She is my sister! We have blood relationship!" Bro says to meehu. Suddenly varun appears from no where beside me.

"Remember the first day we met! We used to bicker like that right? I used to hate you back then." I asked varun while bro and meehu kept on bickering.

"Yup! I hated you too!" He says while chuckling.

"No you didn't!" I said.

"No! I seriously hated you!" He said, while smiling. I stopped smiling and faced him with a serious face. He stopped smiling.

"Then why did you tried to kiss me there?" I asked while folding my arms against my chest.

"Tried?" He smirks.

"Shut up varun!" I say making him stop. We both looked at meehu and bro, who were still fighting.

"Uff! If you guys wanna fight, get married!" I said, making them stop and turn to me.

Uh oh.

"Shut up!" Both of them yelled at me at the same time.

"Awh! Both of them even yelled at the same time!" Varun cooes, making me chuckle and both of them glare at us. Mainly varun.

"If you speak anything like that again, I'll make sure you don't tie the knot with pari, in this life...or the other 6!" Bro warns varun giving him his dead eyes.

"Um! That's what I am saying! Meehu is a rude hardass!"varun says and bro backs him up while nodding his head, while me and meehu gasps.

"I am gonna kill your boyfriend and brother." Meehu says calmly before running after their lives. After 5 minutes of cats and dogs, those three got tired and came back where we were standing.

"Lets go to sleep! We have to wake up at 5." I say to meehu.

"What 5 am?" She asks and I nodded.

"Oh come on! That's torture!" Meehu whines and I shake my head while chuckling at her expression.

"You will have fun " I say to meehu who groans. I turned to the boys.

"Bye guys!" I waved them off and then dragged meehu to the room we were sharing.

It was 5 am. The sun only started to rise. The girls were all ready, in cotton sarees. Even I made Meehu wear a saree. It was a yellow colored cotton saree, which was complementing her skin tone and figure perfectly.

Soon the pooja started and 7 married women of our house made Shree wear shakha and paula.

And then feed her curd amd rice, which was her only meal for the day. After this was done, we were allowed to do everything we wanted.

I saw Meehu coming towards me with a scowl on her face.

"Did you saw Akash bhaiya's face early in the morning that you are scowling?" I asked while trying to suppress my giggles.

"Thanfully not! It's just this saree!" She said while pointing at her saree. I chuckled at her.

"Get changed! We are going to the ghat! Its damn beautiful at this time." I said. She nodded. We both went to our room and changed into some normal clothes.

We both made our way towards, which was close to our house, we noticed Akash bhaiya and Varun there chatting.

"Hey bhaiya! Hey varun! Whatcha doin' here?" I asked them.

"Just wanted to show varun our famous ghat." Bhai says as I nod.

"Soo..." varun trailed off, grabbing out attention.

"So?" Bhai asked.

"So..hey that's place good! C'mon show me pari! Uff bengalis yaar, no respect for the guest-"

"Okay! Shush!" I stopped him, before he could insult us further.

"Let's go there!" With that varun dragged me to an alone place.

"What?" I asked.

"What?" He asked me back, looking all innocent. I rolled my eyes at him.

"Why did you dragged me here?" I asked.

"What? I just wanted spend alone time with you!" He says and I quirk up my one eyebrow at him.

"Humm acchaa pari! If we ever met like one of those arranged couples, how we would have conversed?" He asked. I shrugged.

"I don't know..we would have talked about our life, career, likes and dislikes and life af-"

"Childrens!" Varun suddenly exclaims. I look at him weirdly.

"what about them?" I asked.

"No! I am not asking you, don't you wanna ask me if I like kids?" He asked.

"Um yeah, do you like kids?" I asked and he nodded.

"Very much! First, I want a daughter. Beautiful and intelligent like you. I am gonna be a good daddy, and if a boy like me comes infront of her, I am gonna tear his head off." Varun says all this in a serious tone but a had a smile on his lips all along but I couldn't help but chuckle.

"And you think if you do this, it will make you good daddy?" I ask.

"Listen, you are going to be such a good mother, that it won't matter, if I spoil the kids a little." He says.

"I see, so I do all the work and you do all the spoiling?" I ask. He nodds.

"Yes! See, if you look at from my point of veiw, we are the perfect marriage. All we need to complete the family photo is a dog." He says.

"And we will call the dog tommie!" I suggest while grinning. Varun gives me a sour look.

"That's a stupid name." Varun says but my glare stops him.

"Okay but at only one condition, you do the walking and feeding of tommie." He says. I nod my head enthusiastically.

"Done!" I say.

"All I am going to do is sit at the table and feed him little bits off my plate, saying, 'here tommie eat eat!' " he says.

"So after the wedding, what are you going to do besides spoiling the kids and tommie? " I ask as he gives me confused expression.

"What else is there to do? I am just gonna kick back and enjoy my life with kids and tommie." Varun says with a grin on his face. I stare at him in disbelief. After a moment.

"Oh and of course with you too!" He says.

"So I come after tommie and kids?" I asked. He shook hos head.

"No Pari! That was a mistake. I meant with you." He says.

"So I come after tommie and kids?" I repeated.

"No it was a mis- sorry!" He lets out a sigh.

"Listen here!" I tug at his collar, making him come closer to me.

"If you put my name behind the kids and tommie, I will cut you up to little little little little little little little little pieces and feed them to tommie!"I say. He cups my face with his large hands.

"from now on, the kids and tommie comes second because the only person, I love in this world is you." He says and I smile.

"Much better." I smiled and we let go off each other.

"So say it." I trail off.

"Say what?" He asks.

"The sentence people normally say at this moment." I said.

"That I love kids and tommie more than you?" He asked with confusion plastered on his face.

"Varun you better run!" He bursted out laughing and stared running. I chased him all around.
